My husband and I had a wonderful experience staying at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in Cambodia. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who greeted us with a refreshing drink and a beautiful scarf as a thoughtful keepsake of our stay. The staff's friendliness was exceptional, as they greeted us warmly every time we crossed paths.
The location was ideal, situated less than five miles from the iconic temples of Angkor. Our room offered a serene view of the gardens, adding to the tranquil ambiance. The breakfast, served buffet-style, was delightful and offered a wide variety of options to start our day.
Unfortunately, our busy touring schedule left us with no time to enjoy the hotel’s incredible pool, which we deeply regret. If you plan a visit, I highly recommend setting aside time to indulge in the hotel’s amenities—they are truly worth experiencing.
We wholeheartedly recommend Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor to anyone seeking an exceptional stay in Siem Reap, Cambodia. From the attentive staff to the outstanding amenities and accommodations, this hotel delivers excellence on every level.

I had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor! We stayed in a Landmark Room with a Pool View King, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with charming antique furnishings and a lovely view of the pool from the fourth floor. The king-size bed was, without a doubt, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met—no request was too big or small. The service was simply outstanding.
One of the highlights was the pool—it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Siem Reap and the temples, especially in the heat. I could have easily spent the entire day there!
I highly recommend Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor for anyone visiting the area. It’s a luxurious and memorable experience from start to finish!

I had a tasty lunch with friendly, top professional service in a smart restaurant. A very nice place to eat if you want to splash out. The staff were kind and helpful. Professional pianist in the pleasant cocktail bar on an evening. Recommended for a treat. Prices comparable to good European restaurants with reasonable rates and worth it.

This is place is one of a kind! Do yourself a favor and stay here while you are in Siem Reap. The staff here are the best - I stayed over New Years and was probably the only American in town who wanted to go to bed before midnight. There was a big party with a full band (with a very good drummer) in the pool courtyard outside my suite however, but less than half an hour after I somewhat passive aggressively complained, they had moved me to a new room where I promptly passed out. I think I might have actually grown a little bit emotionally as a result of their fantastic handling of the situation.
Worth a visit for the pool alone, but if you take a closer look all the details are really beautiful, from the vintage wooden elevators to the marble flooring. It's the sort of thing a more recently built hotel would try to imitate, but here it's the real deal. Walkable to most of the things you would want to walk to, and just a short drive of course from Angkor Wat. The restaurants are also very good. This is the only place I can stay now in town, nowhere else compares.

Simply excellent. Wonderful old world charm. Great rooms. Service was too good. Breakfast excellent. Pool huge. Thierry was outstanding all through and amazingly helpful. Allrestairants recommended were wonderful. This is a place that goes the extra yards to make one's stay perfect. I can keep going. But it's to be experienced to know.
Only the music dancers were very loud across the road in early hours. Take a room facing the pool.
