Really amazing resort!
Keep in mind if you are in bad shape or not able to walk well on inclined slopes, insure to get a room at the bottom of the hills. The hills are very steep. Even though there is a constant taxi service free if charge that the resort provides.
Breakfast is very good and it changes slightly everyday with some new dishes while always keeping a traditional American breakfast.
The gym has good machines and basically what you need, however it can be a bit crowded.
The two different pool sizes are good, but it would have been nice with one for kids that are not able to swim yet. The lowest pool is 0,75cm.
Overall I can highly recommend this beautiful resort, the staff is very kind the food and the hotel is good but a bit overpriced compared to outside of the hotel

Disappointing Stay – Definitely Not a 5-Star Hotel
We booked Rawi Warin for a couple gateway and finish our last days of our Thailand trip expecting a luxury 5-star experience, but unfortunately, it falls short and is more of a 4-star hotel at best. The facilities are outdated and in need of serious renovation. You can tell that the hotel has not been properly maintained, and it lacks the modern touch you would expect from a high-end resort.
Breakfast was one of the biggest letdowns. It was incredibly crowded, and aside from eggs and pancakes, the only other options were Thai dishes. While I understand offering local cuisine, a true 5-star hotel should cater to a wider range of tastes, especially considering the majority of guests were Eastern European or Russian. The coffee from the machine was terrible, and to make things worse, the bread was old and stale. We even heard other guests complaining that the food was not fresh. This was by far the worst 5-star breakfast I’ve ever had.
Another major downside is that this is primarily a family hotel. If you’re a couple looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway, I highly recommend skipping this place. The atmosphere was far from relaxing, and our stay felt stressful rather than enjoyable.
Overall, Rawi Warin is not worth the very high premium price we paid. If you’re expecting true 5-star service, luxury, and tranquility, look far elsewhere!!!

Everything about our stay at Rawi Warin was fantastic, from check-in to check-out. Service fantastic, staff always friendly and attentive, beautiful decor and lovely pool/ beach area with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. The breakfast was also great and one of the best among four other 5* hotels we visited during our travels in Thailand! The breakfast dining area is also spacious which we loved since we always find breakfast buffets to be chaotic when there’s lots of guests packed into a small space - we didn’t have that problem here. We stayed here only 3 nights but just wish we had booked longer; we will definitely return if we ever visit Koh Lanta again. Location is also perfect and you’ll be greeted by lots of monkeys and friendly cats during your stay!
Only point to note is that the hotel is not ideal for those who struggle with stairs / hills. The hotel complex is very big and there are lots of hills which wasn’t an issue for us, but I imagine it may be for those who struggle. There is a buggy service (free of charge) arranged by the hotel where they can take you to / from your room to another place in the resort, however if your room is on the upper floor of a building, you’ll still need to walk some stairs.
Lots of restaurants nearby if you want to venture outside the resort but the food in the hotel is also great and reasonably priced.
Highly recommend!

Everything is absolutely great in this resort. We've been there for three nights during our honeymoon in Thailand.
The garden is beautiful, never seen such a various breakfast. All dishes fantastic.
But what's also fantastic are the prices inside the resort.
Dishes are about 4-6 times more expensive than 150m restaurants outside the resort.
Also the massage is about 2000 Baht for 1 hour (outside 350 to 450).
Cocktail prices are ok during Happy Hour (160 Baht each) - outside about 100-120 (non-happy-hour-prices).
Both pools (hillside pool in the picture) are clean and have good temperatures. Also the beach was very clean).
The stuff also was very friendly and helpful.
A bit overpriced (3 nights about 900 €) but we'd book it again as a honeymoon ;)

An incredible hotel with very, very kind and helpful staff.
The rooms are a classic 5* star rather than modern but spacious. Balcony views are insane.
The prices by the pool are a bit ridiculous though - 70 bhat for a small bottle of (non mineral) water is unnecessarily expensive!
