We stayed over Christmas, and it was a horrible experience. Really ruined the day.
Rooms are fine, pools are nice, the beach is great.
Some of the staff were nice but a lot were overtly rude or hostile.
The food was consistently awful, especially the veggie options.
Christmas Day seemed to take them entirely by surprise; at lunch they ran out of tables, food, glasses. It was a horrible experience. Dinner was also pretty bad.
I recommend the George Washington House nearby if you want nice food and friendly service. Once other places opened up we just stopped eating at the hotel, even though we'd paid in advance.

This a beautiful hotel and setting. A large selection of food. (But hardly any English food) you do need to book sometime so be aware of that. You can't go into the sea at this resort as its to rocky, but there is a part further along the beach which is beautiful. Its only a 15 minute walk. The hotel does put transport on on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to it. The rooms are clean and have air con to keep cool. There's local shops and restaurants near by which you can walk to or if you want to explore a bit further there are plenty of buses which pass every few minutes. Most of the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.

We stayed at the Savannah Beach Club Oct. 3-6, 2024. All of the management team members on location were very helpful. The staff was very accommodating, and the chef was very accommodating to our dietary preferences. The rooms were nicely sized and meticulously clean. We were met and greeted with smiles throughout our stay. The live entertainment was soothing to the ear and well organized. The pools throughout were very clean, and the grounds were very well kept. We enjoyed the beach, as we were able to see small sea turtles on several occasions. I have no issues with this resort, as my clients loved their experience. I would definitely recommend this resort as a go-to for couples, families, and friends.

Coming to end of hol here, as 2nd half of Tui cruise and stay, all incl.
Really enjoyed hotel, colonial style. Huge comfortable room (deluxe with courtyard view). Good caribbean food and range of drinks. Great pool, and always lots of sunbeds
Few downsides, lots of steps, rocky seabed makes swimming dangerous. Hard to escape entertainment which can be v loud and in yr face.
Special thanks to Beverley for her friendliness and advice on getting to Oistins for Friday night Fish Fry. Reggae bus was unforgettable experience.
Generally friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent wifi.
Can recommend.
