We stayed here for 6 nights whilst visiting LA for some sightseeing and an awards evening.
From the moment we arrived, T Brown made us feel super welcome as we checked in and set the tone for what would be a great week.
The room was fantastic and better than we'd expected.
Every single member of staff was friendly and couldn't have done anymore to make us comfortable during our stay.
I see some reviews have called it pricey. I have to disagree, I think it's great value for the calibre of the place and the staff.
Before coming to LA I planned to propose to my girlfriend at one of the many famous landmarks but.....
The rooftop pool was such an amazing and relaxing place that during sunset one evening, my girlfriend and I were the only ones there so I used the opportunity to propose to here.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in LA. The staff had zero focus on hospitality to the point that when we checked out, no one even asked how our stay was because they simply do not care. I wish I would have spent the money to stay at a nice Airbnb or the Hilton.
Some examples:
-When we called for ice and a tea kettle for our room they told us we had to come down and get it ourselves.
-When we booked, we asked for joining rooms and we were told no problem, of course. When we checked in they told us there are no joining rooms and they never guarantee it. We got to our room and there was an adjoining room that they gave to another guest after we checked in.
- I ordered room service and told them I had a dairy and tomato allergy. I got a sandwich which was covered in butter and a side of ketchup on the plate. Also the food was awful.
It seems like total laziness on part of the staff. I’ve never seen such a high end hotel have such awful hospitality. It’s not an issue of one person being bad at their job, it’s clear management does not care to create a culture of hospitality within their staff. I’m not expecting every request to be granted, but I do expect the hotel to *try* to make my stay pleasant and enjoyable. This hotel does not lift a finger to do so and they don’t care what experience you have.
The room was decent but the shower took 5 minutes to warm up and for a king suite there is only one sink. The hvac had a vent in the seating room but not the bedroom.
Just absolutely not worth the price for a hotel that does nothing to cater to the guests requests.
The one redeeming part of the hotel is the vallet. They were fast and always helpful and kind offering to help with bags and providing water.

I really enjoyed a recent stay here. The hotel is clean, wonderfully located, and reasonably priced. Nothing flashy, but it suited us fine. The cost of overnight parking was a bit much ($67), but that's probably the going rate in the neighborhood. Any staff I crossed paths with were incredibly friendly. I'd stay here again.

The most FILTHY, DISGUSTING, UNSANITARY hotel I have ever visited. It should be shut down, there is mould and stains everywhere. The bathrooms are rotting and dirty, its unbearable and it smells. The rooms are so stained and worn, we felt so extremely uncomfortable here. Even the blinds were broken and the tv controller was sticky.
They dimly light rooms to hide issues but use your phone flashlight and see white stains and scratches on sofas, chairs and headboards.
I absolutely despise this hotel. We were moved to a suite as it was late and difficult to find another hotel - this suite was equally disgusting. Anyone who likes this place is either lying or unhygienic.
Furthermore, we were woken by hammering in a neighbouring room. The valet was rude to my driver (and the elderly lady in the car behind) and charged us $15 for a drop-off. There was no one to collect our luggage on arrival. Our initial receptionist had terrible customer service skills, it was extremely frustrating. The ONLY positive was the gentleman who helped us transfer our luggage to the new room, I unfortunately did not get his name but he was so kind and professional. Overall, please avoid this hotel. Its small, dark, filthy and a scam. There are countless hotels nearby that are far better.

Decent enough.
It can be difficult finding hotels that aren’t questionable in the general area but this place was good. It could definitely use some TLC especially when looking closer in detail. I read a review mentioning the shampoo and conditioner being labeled as “toilet paper” - it’s Seletti wears Toiletpaper collection.
The pool was nice enough. There isn’t much in the direct area… you’re surrounded by banks. The restaurant at the bottom was nice. Staff were pleasant.
