We’ve stayed at many hotels across Sri Lanka, and Tangerine Beach Hotel is by far the best, and the only one we will be returning to again. The staff are incredibly accomodating and helpful, the rooms are clean and fresh, and the pool is spacious. The Ayurvedic Spa leaves you feeling like a freshly kneaded pile of dough (in the best way possible). The biggest highlight by far has to be the restaurant. The options are diverse and varied each day. The food is perfectly cooked and served at ideal temperatures. The wait staff are quick to clear tables and ensure your glasses are always topped up, no matter how busy the restaurant is. For those with a sweet tooth, the pastries and desserts served alongside lunch and dinner are both visually and gastronomically appealing - truly a 10/10.

My stay at Tangerine Beach Hotel was overall a pleasant experience and offered good value for the price. The property is beautifully located by the beach, with spacious grounds and a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant was definitely a highlight—there was a wide variety of dishes, both local and international, and the quality was consistently excellent. Every meal felt fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The staff were attentive, polite, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, one issue worth mentioning is the humidity during the rainy season. While the room was clean and comfortable, it became noticeably damp, and the moisture in the air made it a little uncomfortable at times. This is something to be prepared for if visiting during monsoon months. That said, with its reasonable price, wonderful food, friendly service, and overall relaxing environment, Tangerine Beach Hotel remains a solid choice for travelers. With some improvements to humidity control in the rooms, it could easily be near perfect.

Our stay at Tangerine Hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and perfect for couples looking for a comfortable and romantic stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary high tea and the additional free foods, which were absolutely delicious. Every bite reflected quality and care, making the experience even more enjoyable. The overall ambiance of the hotel is relaxing and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable getaway. From the food to the rooms to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. Tangerine Hotel is truly a wonderful place to stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious yet cozy experience.

We have been at this hotel nearly two weeks and everything has been wonderful. The staff are very friendly with big smiles The entertainment is very good, something different every night. The food is plentiful and good quality. Would highly recommend

We stayed at Tangerine on the weekend. The check-in was smooth & the staff helped to carry our luggage to the rooms. The lobby area had grandeur, and the courtyard was nicely landscaped. The double bedroom had a vintage outlook. It was spacious, clean and had a balcony. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean & the shower had adequate space. Room amenities such as shampoo, soap, and towels were provided along with a couple of water bottles. The pool was open until 8 PM. The sea was rough, and red flags were put up along the beach; hence, we did not enter the beach. The food was served as a buffet. The taste was good and had variety, but the dessert options could be improved. The hotel staff was very friendly and supportive of the requests we made. One of our group members' car tyre had a puncture, and the maintenance unit of the hotel helped to fix it without any second invitation.
