Great location! Rooms are clean, comfortable. Hotel facilities such as checkin, pool and dining area could use an upgrade (why the 3 star review overall, including dining, food and "experience in general".
Can't beat the beach area though! It's amazing, best beach on the island. It's the 5 stars of the hotel.
Perfect for simple, basic stay for good beachin and resting!

This is definitely an older hotel that is in need of some work, however the hospitality provided by Mr Ben and the dedicated staff is something that you would hardly experience elsewhere. They are true gems.
Mr Ben ensured that all was catered for and that we felt safe and comfortable each step of the way.
The location is exceptional. The perfect location for beach access, public transportation and an excellent location if you are driving.

A Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed here and unfortunately, my experience did not live up to expectations. Here’s a detailed account of my stay:
### Room Condition: A Step Back in Time
Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by the outdated decor. The furnishings felt like they hadn't been updated in decades, giving the room a tired and worn-out appearance. To make matters worse, the walls were dampened, leading to an uncomfortable musty smell that lingered throughout my stay. It was clear that the hotel was in dire need of renovations to bring it up to modern standards.
### Beachside Service: Lacking Attention
One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was its proximity to the beach. However, I was disappointed to find that there was no customer service available on the beach. Guests were left to fend for themselves, which detracted from the overall experience. It would have been nice to have staff available to assist with beach chairs, umbrellas, or refreshments, but instead, it felt like a deserted stretch of sand.
### Dining Experience: A Ghost Town
The on-site restaurant was another letdown. During my visit, it seemed almost empty, which was concerning. The lack of patrons made the atmosphere feel cold and uninviting. The menu was limited, and the food did not match the prices, leaving much to be desired. Dining here felt more like a chore than a pleasure, and I found myself opting for local eateries instead.
### Overall Impression: More of a Motel Feel
Overall, my stay at Seaside Retreat Hotel felt more akin to a motel than a resort. The combination of outdated rooms, lack of beach service, and a lifeless restaurant left me feeling disappointed. While the location was ideal, the hotel itself did not deliver the quality and experience I had hoped for.
### Conclusion
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, I would recommend exploring other options. This hotel has potential, but it desperately needs updates and improved service to truly enhance the guest experience. For now, I would rate my stay as a 1 out of 5, hoping that the management takes steps to address these issues for future guests.
This building just needs to revamped completely. Stay in a motel than this.

Excellent hotel right on the beach. The restaurant has a fantastic view when you enjoy your breakfast or dinner. It has a romantic vibe, although unfortunately, I was on my own. Nevertheless, the hotel was gorgeous, and the staff were absolutely amazing throughout my stay- very friendly and knowledgeable about the city.

Overall great budget friendly resort. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, the beach was clear/claim for swimming, and the grounds clean/beautiful. The downside is the resort needs repairs/remodel. The onsite restaurant at the resort is pricey but there are options a short walk or cab ride away.
