Wasn’t expecting much, but after all I was surprised with care and service Ive received at this hotel. I enjoyed the stay with all offers and had really pleasant time.
Also Yoga with John in the morning was nice and relaxing and gave me nice start of the day. Time at the pool was peaceful and calm. Even though there wasn’t many kids at the moment of my stay, hotel was looking prepared for them and seamed very child friendly too.

This hotel is an absolute disaster and nothing like the photos advertised. Upon arrival, we expected our room key to be ready, as we had already informed the hotel of our arrival. Instead, we’ve been stuck in a queue of 10-15 people for over 20 minutes, waiting for the incompetent reception staff to handle basic check-ins. It’s beyond frustrating to see how slow and unorganized they are.
The service is appalling, and the entire place feels like a relic of the Soviet era rather than a vacation spot on Tenerife. For €160 per night for two people, you’d expect at least some level of professionalism and comfort, but this hotel offers neither. The interior is outdated, the staff seem indifferent to the needs of the guests, and the overall atmosphere is just depressing.
This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any hotel. Avoid this place at all costs – it’s not worth your time, money, or patience. Absolutely unacceptable!

Food was beautifully presented buffet meals. Lots of options to suit everyone. Cooked fresh as you wait steaks, fish, etc if preferred.I did see small brown bugs coming up through a hole next to the food & running across it. I'm sure the Staff are aware of this! Can it be prevented in such a large Hotel? Wine was tasty. Gardens well-established & relaxing with smoking areas separate. Beautifully lit at night. My room was overlooking the pool & entertainment stage so I could sit on balcony to chill - East facing so sun all day until sunset. Noisy until Midnight with the various Acts but I didn't mind. Overall it was very relaxing but it's down to personal choice.

I have given three stars to the location. Why? Well Tenerife is beautiful and many locations are as close to the beach and vibrant live around as this one. But Sol Arona seems to milk “location” way too much. Please just for the love of god buy new mattresses, put an effort on the quality of the rooms and facilities. Mind blowing that in this day and age you dare to charge the prices you charge for that quality. I have visited this island many times specially the north and I can tell you and everyone reading this, people here take very seriously quality in hospitality. Only one picture for those that want to understand my comment on facilities.
Update based on their response: in order to get a good bed, maybe call them ahead to know which rooms have decent mattresses. It seems it’s okay to have bad facilities. So, seems to them it’s the guest who doesn’t know how to book a room. By the way the prices are pretty much the same. Now, actually thanks for replying I forgot to tell you that you can hear everything from the hallway to the next room to the outside.

I've just come back from 10 nights here. Great location, only a couple of minutes walk to beach, shops, market, etc, and has a bus stop right outside for Siam Park, Siam Mall, and many other trips pick up there .The hotel is big and can be quite busy at times but the staff are brilliant and make sure you are happy. The food for an all-inclusive is actually really good, well cooked and lots of variety. The pool, in my opinion, is slightly small for the size of the hotel. Never had an issue using it or getting seats. The bar staff are great. One in particular Ruben, he's very friendly, funny and great with kids. The rooms are big and cleaned daily only thing is no air con but if you keep the windows open you get a nice breeze so no big deal. Overall they do a great job will definitely return !!!
