We came to stay here for a family holiday with a 3 yr old. The hotel was accommodating and very child-friendly. The animacion team were great and the entertainment and kids club was good for young children. The female animacion team and the gentleman from Italy were fantastic and brought lots of energy to the entertainment and for the children. There were 2 different pool environments, 1 kids splash park which was great for small children (but very slippery!) And the water was clean. No one we spoke to or ourselves were ill from the pool, food or water. The variety of food catered for all diets and interests including a child self serve station with simple foods like pizza, pasta and chips which always works well for children. The variety of drinks available on the all inclusive package was great and all bar staff and hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and organised, very relaxed environment and not far to walk to the sand dunes and beach. We would definitely come back again for a family holiday. This hotel is a decent location it’s near playa del ingles and the sand dunes, excellent for photographers and a nice stroll to the beach. The service and entertainment here is excellent, very friendly staff, who speak a range of languages such as English, Spanish, Dutch, German and French. The kids & adults entertainment is very good throughout the day & evening. My only concern is the sizing of the rooms, we booked a family room for 3 adults and one toddler, we received one double bed ( which was just two singles next to each other) and one single bed. So I don’t feel as though a single bed is appropriate for a toddler especially not at the height it was at. Despite the room we had a lovely time and appreciated the hospitality.

We recently returned and had mixed reviews. The entire staff was wonderful and very helpful. The evening show with the entertainment team was magical; you can tell they put a lot of work into the performances—bravo! The rooms were always clean, and the phone app was a huge plus. Unfortunately, there were two downsides for us: the small and shallow pool, and the food, which was bland, as if the cuisine lacked spice. The pasta was overcooked, and the sauces were completely bland. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the Asian cuisine and sushi dinner, a complete disaster. How can you serve defrosted sushi? Does anyone try to serve it to a guest? It looked very unappetizing and was impossible to eat. It was the worst version of Asian cuisine I've ever had. I also asked other hotel guests we met during our stay for their opinions, and we all agreed that many dishes were defrosted and underseasoned. I gave it three stars overall, but I'm sorry, but I can't give it more.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly, and always smiling. As for the food — absolutely excellent! The buffet will satisfy even the most demanding guests, and the meals served three times a day are really tasty and varied. A special mention goes to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Anna🫶🏻from Poland, the animator – an ambitious, energetic, and kind young woman who runs great activities for both children and adults. She speaks several languages, is very athletic, and creates a fantastic atmosphere – thanks to her, it’s simply impossible to get bored at the hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient location – everything is close by. There’s a small shopping center, a roundabout, and bus stops (both free and regular buses) nearby, with easy connections to various places, such as Pirates Beach. We’ve been to the island several times before — even with our dog. He was absolutely thrilled, his little face full of joy! 🐾 Such beautiful memories, because this place truly has something special — a warm, friendly atmosphere that even pets can feel. The only downside is that the area has changed a bit after the pandemic. It used to be full of life, with lots of boutiques and shops offering great variety. Now, unfortunately, many stalls in the Yumbo Center are closed, and you can feel that the vibe isn’t quite the same. It’s a pity, because a few years ago this place had incredible energy. Despite that, the hotel still maintains a very high standard and is a great place to relax and unwind.

We stayed at the Abora Catarina for 11 days. We were very satisfied with our stay. The food was always varied and delicious. The staff was very attentive and polite. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the 5th floor in the adults-only area was very quiet. We look forward to our next stay. Room 514
