I was on a 2 week vacation with my girlfriend on mid October until the end of month. On our first day we were shocked and confused by the enormous size of this hotel. We literally struggled to find some places and just walked around hotel to find all the places. During our stay we visited entire island and nearby vicinity so we didn't stay there the entire time. Still we spend a few days entirely at the hotel and took part in all of the daily activities. The animation team itself deserves a huge respect for their work. They keep this hotel very alive during the day and each night. The pool is huge and can be accessed by kids and adults. The beach is quite bit and pretty close to the hotel, yet it has rocks instead of sand. The hotel offers a lot of sports and even some classes. We took part in tennis classes which were really good. Each night had a different star on the stage so we were amazed that this hotel invested so much in entertainment. Bar has a variety of drinks as mentioned before and has a table service so you can sit back and relax and you'll get your drinks. I definitely recommend this hotel and the only con that I can remind myself of is that the beach has a lot of rocks which isn't too comfortable. Other than that hotel is perfect and feels like paradise.

The Akti Hotel offers a pleasant stay, however, it lacks air conditioning, which may be a concern for guests during hot weather. Additionally, the hotel's doors remain open, and the reception and restaurant staff exhibit an unwelcoming attitude, while the bar staff is friendly and accommodating.
The entertainment provided resembles a children's club and is limited until 11 p.m. Seating options are also scarce.
The rooms are basic, with family rooms located in a separate annex overlooking the car parks. Despite requesting a room with a sea view, the manager was dismissive and refused the request.
The beach trip was enjoyable, with a bar offering beer and water, as well as beach beds. The sea itself was remarkable.
The hotel features three pools: an adults-only pool, a pool for small children, and a family pool that is shallow but suitable for various activities. Entertainment around the pool, such as water polo and other games, is commendable.
Additional activities include the pool, a 5D cinema that provides good value for its 5 euro fee, and a spa that is particularly appreciated by my wife.

First and foremost, we would like to praise the staff. Everyone was extremely kind, helpful and we have never experienced such warmth towards children. Every staff member smiled at and entertained our child, which made a big difference to our stay. However, when it comes to the hotel itself, we were not as satisfied.
The biggest issue was with the rooms. The mattresses were very uncomfortable (one double bed consisted of two separate mattresses), and they were severely worn out. The mattresses kept sliding apart, leaving a gap in the middle. Since we sleep with our child in the same bed, this was a real problem, as one of us would always end up sleeping in that gap. Another issue was the soundproofing—or lack thereof. The doors to the room were so poorly insulated that every guest passing by sounded as if the door was open. Light from the hallway also shone through the gap under the door at night, so we had to place a towel there to make the room darker. Additionally, there was noise from outside, likely from the pool machinery, which forced us to keep the windows shut while sleeping. We tried to change the room but it did not help, still the same problems..
The room overall felt of poor quality. Given that this is a 5-star hotel and not a cheap one, we expected much better. Even the lighting in the hotel gave a cold, unwelcoming atmosphere, making it feel cheap. The elevators were also undersized, which was an issue with a stroller—we sometimes had to wait up to 5 minutes before we could get inside.
As for the food, it wasn’t bad, but we would have appreciated more variety. The breakfast menu was exactly the same every day for the entire week, which got a bit repetitive. Our vacation was also quite ruined by the fact that both my husband and I were likely food poisoned. My husband got sick around day 3, and I started feeling unwell on day 5. After dinner, I was vomiting almost the entire night. And imagine having to take care of a small, breastfed baby at the same time.
One positive aspect was the children’s play room, but it would be great if it were accessible throughout the whole day (or at least part of it). It was difficult to fit our time into the two-hour slots in the morning and afternoon, especially with a small child.
Lastly, the hotel’s location wasn’t ideal. There isn’t much around the area, and if you plan to take the bus, be prepared to wait for a long time as buses don’t run at regular intervals.
Overall we do not recommend the hotel and would not return here again.

This is a great place with the best customer service. Highly recommend it. We stayed one night due to an error at our other hotel. They were very accommodating and even gave us a complimentary upgrade. It is beautiful and very clean and the food was good and hot.

During week 42, we stayed at a beautiful and well-maintained hotel with a nice pool area. The food served was also good, with a decent variety. The staff was very service-minded and helpful. The location may not be the best, but it’s not far from Rhodes town by bus or taxi. The rooms themselves were lovely, and the cleaning was top-notch. The only downside was the gym, where much of the equipment was either broken or very worn.
