Wonderful Family Stay at Amari Koh Samui We recently stayed at Amari Koh Samui for a family vacation and were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The staff’s kindness and attentiveness truly stood out, from the reception to the dining room and housekeeping. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush, green gardens that provide a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The pools were impeccably clean and perfect for both adults and children to enjoy. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay – a delightful spread with a variety of flavors to suit every palate. Points for Improvement: • Some rooms are outdated, and the upper gallery with steep stairs was not ideal for our children. However, after a request, we were promptly moved to a more spacious and suitable room, which we greatly appreciated. • The mattress in our room was old and sagged noticeably, even for someone of light weight (65 kg). • Some of the walkways can become slippery during rain or light drizzle, so extra caution is needed. • I was surprised to find a 100 THB charge for a laundry bag, especially as it didn’t include laundry service. Despite these minor issues, the exceptional service from all staff members more than made up for it. Everyone we encountered was incredibly polite and professional, ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible. We would definitely consider returning in the future and recommend Amari Koh Samui to families looking for warm hospitality in a stunning location.

A beautiful location, Mac and his team on reception were amazing, and so helpful, as were all the staff at the premises. The rooms lovely and have everything you need. The resort is kept spotless. The salt pool was my favourite go to. Prego the Italian linked to the hotel (If you fancy a change from the local cuisine) do the most tasty and authentic pizza's.

I really enjoy this place. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s built with small private houses with terraces or large balconies. The hotel has 3 pools and part of it is located on the beach. Even if you have to cross the road to access the beach or the swimming pool, you are one minute away from the water. The staff is so nice and friendly. Amazing service at the front desk, in the Restaurant and even the housekeeping. The only down point is that it’s is a family Hotel (I didn’t know while booking) meaning lots of families, lots, lots of kids who can be loud just being kids and some parents don’t care. The huge breakfast buffet area gives you so many choices, but I preferred to avoid the breakfast because of the loud children in the restaurant or at the pool. I’ve got very upset seeing how much food the families brought on the table, did not even eat half of it, and was sent to the trash. Some customers have no respect for food or for customers around… but I guess it’s always the issue with buffet. If you don’t mind about the down side, this place is for you and I will come back again! The last major point of the hotel is the beach with the water crystal clear and white sand, that’s awesome! Highly recommended.

We arrived to the hotel and the room looks nothing like what they advertised. Not only that, but the room we got had a very strong mold smell. When we complained, they moved us to another room which was smaller, and also had a strong mold smell. For anyone wondering, the rooms aren’t on the beach as advertised, but behind a busy street you need to cross to get from the rooms to the beach which seems very dangerous and simply unpleasant. We decided to cancel our stay here and went to another hotel which saved our vacation, but this hotel is terrible. When we left, the woman at the counter threatened us and said that there were no refunds, even if it was their fault. Thank god we had a travel agency that solved this for us, but for anyone considering this option, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

We arrived for our family vacation and right after entering the room I started to cough because of the strong mold smell. All the rooms they showed us had the smell After checking the reviews I understood people have been complaining for the last 7 years about the same thing. They haven’t done anything about it . Not even caring about the reviews. Thank god we had a travel agency who changed us to an other hotel . And the only thing the manager could say to us was “ you know its unrefundable “ He didn’t care about the terrible service he gave us. DONT STAY THERE
