A Slice of Paradise at Explorar Koh Samui Our stay at Explorar was everything we hoped for — relaxing, stylish, and full of heart. The hotel is beautifully designed with a modern tropical aesthetic, set right on a stunning, peaceful beach. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully appointed, the pool is divine, and the overall atmosphere is just the right mix of chill and chic. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the people. The staff here are absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to the incredible bartenders Minn Htet and Harry, who not only made the best cocktails on the island, but also added joy and personality to every evening with their energy and good humor. We also want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Garfield and Win, two of the kindest and most graceful waitresses we’ve ever met. Their smiles, care, and attention to detail made every meal and moment feel special. The food at Explorar’s restaurant is simply outstanding. Every dish is beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with clear attention to quality. While some might consider the prices slightly higher than other local spots, it’s absolutely worth it — here, you never have to second-guess the cleanliness, freshness, or ingredients. You can just relax and enjoy the experience, knowing you’re in expert hands. From breakfast to dinner, every bite was a pleasure. Explorar isn’t just a beautiful hotel — it’s a place where you feel truly seen and welcomed. We left with sun-kissed skin, happy hearts, and memories we’ll cherish. Can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at Explorar Koh Samui was a perfect 5/5 stars! The room with a private pool was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond, big thanks to Nat, Min Min, Aung, Andy, Win, Soe Moe, and JT. The menu was very good, and the Thai night dinner was amazing. Breakfast was incredibly versatile with so many options, and the bar by the pool was great. We truly appreciated the free airport transport and the convenience of free shuttle buses to Fisherman's Market. The tour packages were superb, including trips to Pig Island, Pink dolphins, and zipline. Plus, consistent housekeeping kept our room perfect. Highly recommend!

We loved this hotel. The staff make it even better. A massive shout out to C Thu, Harry and Jor, to name s few. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are lovely and well equipped. Great location and the complimentary shuttle to Fisherman's Village and Chewang was very much appreciated. The only niggle, there are not enough sun beds. I think the hotel ate aware of this. But I found that my mornings were not leisurely, it was up and out early, just to make sure we had a bed for the day.

Stunning beach and island views from the infinity pool which had a swim-in bat. Amazing service, the staff is just world class, from reception to the bar and restaurant and pool area. Harry, Oboe, De De and many others were very attentive and helpful (helping with information and restaurant bookings) and made our stay relaxing and fun. Breakfast had so many fantastic options, totally unmatched in range: coffee and eggs made to your liking a fantastic granola, but also local Thai dishes and noodles for breakfast. Lots of activities happening on site as well. Hands down the best hotel experience I ever had.

Honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The whole place is stunning, and the pool is absolutely amazing – super spacious and just perfect to relax. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and really spacious, and the bed… wow. So comfy we literally want to buy the same one for home 😂 There’s a lot offered here, like cooking classes and excursions, which we didn’t try ourselves – but it’s great to have the option. For me, the highlights were definitely the big pool and the breakfast. There’s a huge variety, and many things are freshly made – like different styles of eggs, soups, and hot or iced drinks like coffee and tea. All in all, if we ever come back to this area, we’re 100% staying here again. Highly recommend!
