We visited the resort during the last week of September and had a very nice time. The location is 2 hour drive from muscat airport, and we travelled by airport shuttle at an extra fee from the resort as our flight arrived quite late at night. The car itself was comfortable and had snacks and water. The rooms were lovely, and the resort is a short walk from nearby heritage villages. If the weather is cooler, the walk is nice. Our stay coincided with the Olive harvest season which we quite enjoyed, including the informative talk given by Dr Ali Furqani and the trip to a nearby olive press. The breakfast buffet was nice and varied, and the beautiful majestic Mountain Views were breathtaking. A special thanks goes to our housekeep Mr Anis who made the extra effort to make sure our rooms were lovely during routine housekeeping services. Thanks to the friendly staff for a lovely time.

Dropped in for a drink after watching a magnificent sunset at a nearby viewpoint. Had the buffet dinner at this wonderful 5 Star hotel. Food quality& services were top notch. Hotel ambience is spectacular! The 180° view of the valley below at the end of the glass platform is breathtaking!

Impressive! The Anantara Hotel is simply perfect – a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. All the staff are incredibly kind, warm, and always helpful, making you feel immediately welcome. The variety of food is amazing and of excellent quality, so there is something for every taste. The activities offered are diverse and make the stay unforgettable. The hotel’s location is also very convenient and easy to reach. Simply a place where you feel completely at ease and one you would love to visit again anytime!

Beautifully located on Jabal Al Akhdar in Oman, the hotel is easily accessible via a great drive along very well-maintained roads. The property offers lovely views of the canyon and Princess Diana’s Point, which sits right at the heart of the hotel. The pool is stunning, the gardens are amazing, and the orchards are a real highlight — with apricot, olive, and pomegranate trees. We were lucky to visit in season and enjoyed the fresh fruits, which were absolutely delicious. Rooms are a good size with fantastic views. On the downside, the place feels a little jaded and would benefit from an upgrade. The staff are generally very friendly, though the restaurant service seemed a bit undertrained. Food is average, drinks are expensive, and overall the hotel feels rather pricey for what it offers.

Visited Al Jabal Al Akhdar during the rose 🌷 season. absolutely breathtaking! The hills were covered in roses, the air was fresh, and the views were stunning. We stayed at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel was luxurious, comfortable, and offered amazing service. Truly a perfect escape for nature lovers and anyone looking to relax and unwind.
