We stayed in one of the water villas with jacuzzi and found the holiday was perfect. The location, accommodation, weather, food and hospitality from the staff was impeccable. All the staff at the international restaurant from waiters to chefs were always friendly and showed willingness to go out of their way to meet your needs. The resort felt more like a five star than four. We would definitely recommend it to others.

Lovely stay, Nutcha was above and beyond with her customer service. Staff were lovely and attentive. Food exceeded expectations. Although it was raining throughout our stay, it was a memorable and lovely experience nevertheless. Modern and clean atmosphere, I’m a picky person but would recommend for anyone looking for an escape from the urban life.

Resort is completely new so all equipment is in perfect condition. Arrival and departure by the boat is perfectly organized (after we take the baggage on airport we were until 5 minutes already on the way to the resort). We choosed Beach front villa what is based on my opinon best choice for families. They are providing cleaning 2x times per day. Many thanks to Ram and Monir for perfect cleaning service. We had All inclusive program and in this program is a lot of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and coctails (also 4 types of beers) for free. Pedal boat and snorchling equipment you can borrow also for free. You don´t need to pay anything more during your stay. I recommend minimum to go on snorchling excursion what is not so expensive and it is very nice and suitable also for childrens. Also directly in resort are very nice snorcheling places where you can see lot of fishes like in home aquarium. All food is excelent and you can choice from 3 restaurants. Pool bar with the big swimming pool is attached to children aquapark so it is perfect place for relax of whole family. All personnel is very kind and helpful. Before brakfast after wake up I recommend to go 15meters and swim in crystal water of Indian ocean.

We stayed in a beachfront room for 6 days in mid-December. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach, which was stunning. We were a bit disappointed because the sunset was exact behind the water villas from where we stayed. The breakfast was fresh and had plenty of variety. The only downside were the flies and no intervention for it whatsoever. Also, the dinner was fresh and tasty. We could really appreciate the chef of the Italian restaurant welcoming us and apologizing for a long wait. The portions there were on the small side tough! We would then recommend the Asian restaurant as the portions were better. The staff around the whole resort was very helpful and discrete, always welcomed us with a smile. It is very kid friendly, since there is a kids club where kids can walk in for an activity. The staff there were very friendly and involved. However, when they did things like crafting, the staff did interfere too much, not letting the kids be free in end result. We missed a reading time frame, where someone would read a nice book to them. I volunteered, but they didn't seem interested. They have very nice sea related books so it's a shame. The kids' room had an AC that made the room ice cold, no matter how the temperature was adjusted. Also, it was leaking constantly from the ceiling output. All 3 my kids slipped and fell because of the water on the floor. I let the staff know, but they said I should just close the room, which I did during the day, but it still leaked, so left a towel there. As to expect to close such a small claustrophobic room on kids during the night, that was too much of an ask, because the kids were scared. I advice to take care of this inconvenient and dangerous matter. Last, we experienced an unprofessional attitude from the Indian looking bar lady who fiksed our drinks. She made twice some awkward comments regarding the amount of drinks we were allowed to have, eventhoughh we told her we were aware. I don't think that was her responsibility in the first place. Lastly, during our last 3 days, more guests checked in above us and next to us. They would use our sunbeds sometimes, and they also had a few kids. We would have appreciated it if the hotel would distribute guests alongside the rooms to give everyone just that extra breath since most rooms on both sides were empty. If you're looking for a silent semi private trip, I wouldn't recommend it here because your beach villa doesn't feel as relaxing since it feels crowded fast!

We had an incredible stay at Centara Grand Maldives! The resort is breathtaking, and the beach villas offer views you could wake up to every day without ever getting bored. The staff were incredibly sweet and caring, and a special thanks to Imad and Ram from housekeeping for always being there whenever we needed them. Everything was perfect, and we can’t wait to come back again for another unforgettable experience.
