Great service. Would like to share extraordinary experience. We were vegetarian and struggling to find vegetarian items in breakfast. We opted for bread and some other items. Suddenly the waiter came with freshly made pulao and told us you can have it without any cost, though we didn't have it in the menu but I felt you should get full breakfast which is beyond the expectations. Great working team. Memorable experience. Hotel is very close to the beach.

Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Karon Beach, an IHG Hotel, was generally good but left room for improvement. Here's a summary: Positives: •Prime location right across from Karon Beach. •Relaxing environment, ideal for families with small children who want to avoid noisy areas. •The kids' pool area was a highlight, though extending pool hours would be appreciated. •The staff exhibited the typical Thai warmth and empathy, which we found very welcoming. Area for Improving Customer Experience: •We were initially given the wrong room, which was quickly corrected, but after a long journey, it was a frustrating start. •The room had a lingering odor, an issue mentioned in other reviews, yet seemingly unaddressed. •The hotel’s decor felt outdated, with the building resembling a sterile, all-white government office. •The translucent bathroom partition in a family room was uncomfortable; a motorized curtain option would improve privacy. •Bed sheets and furniture had visible stains, and rust was present on bathroom fixtures. •The breakfast menu was repetitive with no variation during our week-long stay. •Poor drainage in the bathroom led to water spilling onto the floor. •The absence of a balcony clothes stand and a bathroom towel rod were inconvenient, particularly for a beachside hotel. Overall, while our stay was pleasant, addressing these issues could greatly enhance the guest experience.

We had the most wonderful experience at Holiday Inn Karon Beach. The staff were nothing but friendly, helpful and so kind. We were met at check in and had a speedy experience and were taken straight to our room (upgraded!). We were lucky to arrive in a cocktail night, where the bar was open with complimentary cocktails and snacks happy hour. The rooms are lovely, modern and spacious. The bed is so comfortable and the rooms have different pillows to suit your preference. We loved the location as it was close to the beach but not too busy when you left the hotel. Lots of places to eat, laundry service, convenience stores, spas close by. When my partner became ill, the staff were so helpful and assisted us to get a doctor, gave us extra water and complimentary food which was so lovely. The hotel has recently been rebranded and we cannot speak highly enough about the hotel after the rebrand!

I ordered soft drinks from room service and unfortunately they said that there are none and I have to order through the GRAB app and the order was made and I was surprised that the delivery representative received the order from the same hotel and the receptionist was informed why the order was not provided directly from you and why I am forced to order through the app since it is available with you. I think this is an insult to the Holiday Inn hotel chain
