Beautiful resort and very clean. Pathways through the hotel nice and clean. Lovely relaxing place, only let down was the food which was luke warm. The themed restaurant you had to book, well they was no theme about it. The food was very little, which you had to help yourself very disappointed. We took one look and went downstairs to the dinner hall. Apart from that and the food cold, what a beautiful place

Such a great find, honestly cannot understand any bad reviews on this place. The staff are brilliant and so friendly, the place is full of character and exactly like photos, a little Greek holiday village to relax and unwind. The beach is gorgeous, private and right on your doorstep. Food is fresh and delicious, great variety for everyone.
Honestly we didn't want to leave this place and will for sure be back.

A lot of money for very little. Food quality poor. No tea or coffee in room. Reception didn’t give any information about transport for going into town.
Nothing close to this hotel. Very little choice in the food. There isn’t an American section. It’s pancakes. Dirty swimming pool, same entertainment every night.

Lovely sea view accommodation, friendly staff, could do with some better options of food.

We stayed at Eurovillage for 7 nights and our experience was very mixed.
We arrived around 8.30pm on the Friday night and the checking process was very long winded, and whilst we were waiting in the queue to check in we had multiple other guests push Infront of us. However, the buffet was still open for a couple minutes (closes at 9) and they allowed us in for some food before it closed.
The room itself was standard, and a decent size for no more than 2 people. They provided normal towels and pool towels. The staff were meant to clean our room every other day, however they came in on the Sunday and we didn't see our room cleaned again until the Wednesday. Our room was only cleaned because we made an online complaint. Prior to this we had ran out of toilet paper and had to go to reception to ask for some more. Following our online complaint we returned to our room to find a note attached to our door asking us to come to reception. Upon attending reception we were sent into the managers office in the back and asked about our complaint, all we wanted was clean towels and empty bins (we did include some other grumbles on the complaint). This caught us off guard, however, the manager was really nice and we had decent conversation with her. She just wanted to make sure our holiday was going smoothly, and arranged for our room to be cleaned daily after this.
The food was a big downfall. There were flies everywhere, and they would just sit on the food with nobody attempting to do anything about it. A lot of the food was also cold, on one morning I had stone cold baked beans and in the Italian restaurant I ended up with cold Bolognese sauce. The food was also poorly labeled, as somebody who is pregnant, I have been told by the hospital to avoid certain foods. I was even told before flying out not to drink the water, have ice, or anything that could be washed in local water i.e. fruit or salad.
The food labels would for example say "chicken" or "fish," followed by the word for this in a different language. However, these were often in a sauce and there was no indication as to what the sauce was or it's ingredients. On the day we left, I asked a member of staff what was in a pasta sauce as there were no labels at all, he pointed to a different sauce and said "this with vegetables". When I ate it, there was also ham in there. It was the same story in the Italian restaurant, when I found myself eating pasta covered in chillies unknowingly because it wasn't labelled.
It was also clear at meal times that the hotel catered primarily for the Germans. If you are British, I'd avoid as this place is for the Germans with the Brits as a second thought. Without sounding rude myself, I'd find these guests to be incredibly rude and would often give us funny looks when they heard us speaking English.
The pool was really big, and unlike other hotels ive stayed in previously, there was plenty of room to swim. However, the water was cold. This may have been due to the time of year, but it is definitely not a heated pool. They served Gyros at the pool bar between 12.30 and 2.30 which was amazing, however, we also saw hot dogs advertised as being served at this time which we never saw anybody with.
Overall, this hotel is more of a 3 star than a 4 star. As the hotel is in a remote place and you ideally need to hire a car, I probably won't rush to stay here again. Whilst we have had our grumbles and the hotel have some room for improvement, overall it was a nice break.
