We stayed at the Hilton Salalah Resort last week as a five days trip of two friends. I was welcomed as a Hilton Honours member and was offered a complimentary upgrade. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The rooms and gym were recently renovated. They were spotless clean and everything was brand new. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful. In terms of improvement, I suggest improving the restaurant’s menu and provide the waiters with some more training on customer service and the menu choices. Moreover, additional facilities in the hotel would be great such as kids play areas and a variety of restaurants. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly staff ensured that every aspect of my stay was taken care of with the utmost attention to detail. Location The location is ideal – right on the beachfront, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The resort’s proximity to Salalah’s key attractions, such as the stunning Wadi Darbat, Al Mughsail Beach, and the famous frankincense markets, makes it a perfect base for exploring the region. Rooms The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and elegantly designed with modern amenities. My room had a private balcony that opened up to panoramic sea views, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. The comfortable bed, luxurious linens, and thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and evening turndown service made it feel like a home away from home. Dining The dining experience at Hilton Salalah is outstanding. Palm Grove, the resort’s signature restaurant, offers a delicious selection of fresh seafood and international dishes, with the added bonus of dining right by the ocean. The breakfast buffet at Al Maha Restaurant was a highlight of my mornings, featuring a wide variety of local and international options, from freshly baked pastries to Omani specialties. The Whispers Bar was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink in the evening, offering a relaxed ambiance and a great selection of cocktails. Amenities The resort boasts a beautiful outdoor pool area surrounded by lush gardens and palm trees. Whether lounging by the pool or taking a refreshing dip, the setting is peaceful and serene. The private beach area is equally impressive, offering clean, soft sands and calm waters for swimming. For those looking to stay active, the resort has a well-equipped fitness center, and for families, there’s a dedicated kids’ play area. Service What truly sets Hilton Salalah apart is the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, from arranging excursions to offering recommendations for local attractions. Their genuine hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Conclusion Overall, Hilton Salalah Resort is a true gem in Oman. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing beach getaway, an adventure exploring Salalah’s natural beauty, or a mix of both, this resort delivers on every front. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Salalah, and I look forward to returning for another stay in this coastal paradise.

Overall its a 5 star, whenever I come to Salalah I have to choose this hotel, the service they offer is a 10/10 I had to wait only 5 minutes for them to collect my luggage, they also clean these rooms pretty quickly and the rooms are well cleaned and are pretty cozy, although they aren’t the best but they are highly great, but I asked for a mountain view and they moved me to a room that leads to a construction view, I didn’t care much but I hope they work on it. In the conclusion I would definitely recommend this hotel.

They say it’s a 5 star hotel but the hotel works like a 2 star hotel. Overall our stay was very bad and not something to be happy about. They say it’s pet friendly but they charge you extra 50 OMR. The policy was never mentioned when you book through agencies. Clearly there is misleading information about this hotel. We had booked for mountain view room but they downgraded it to a view with construction people walking around. It was very unprofessional. Also the night pub culture is very bad. They just host the party to promote a bad culture. There are ladies misbehaving and throwing glass bottles around. How are they even allowing such pathetic behaviour!! Also they don’t give a damn when the guests arrive and about collecting the luggage. We had to wait approx 1 hour for someone to come and collect our luggage after telling them multiple times. Also the receptionist isn’t friendly. You don’t get parking spot because the people who come to the pub are given more priority and provided parking. Please make it a thing that you mention your policies clearly via agencies and booking apps. I would say that it’s a scam to mislead people.
