Impressed by the all inclusive services provided, nice beach and ocean water color. Large rooms, yet need some minor refurbishments, but nothing critical. In this resort, I had the feeling of space and tranquility, as all the hotel buildings are spread not on height, but on vast land. The same with beaches and restaurants. Never overcrowded - lots of space wisely used.

It is one of the best places we’ve ever been. The staff is really taking care of you the whole time. They are friendly and lovely and you always feel safe and taken care of. Rooms ale really great and pretty and people who say otherwise may be expecting too much. Truth is that the room is dark but you only spend here the night and during the day you have a daylight. Moreover they really clean everything including the beds, floor, toilet. Food is great and on the beach you have anything you want at any time. The beach is really big and pretty and not even once we had a situation when we didn’t have any sunbed. I would really like to thank the whole staff, and we especially appreciate Surat who was always smiling and helpful. I really recommend this hotel to everyone and I’m sure we’ll come back.

We have chosen this resort to spend our honeymoon and it was a great choice. The rooms are spacious& clean and the service is one of the best! It was a wonderful experience at all and the personal is really nice and ready to please you anytime. We have also enjoyed the BBQ dinner and the romantic one (both organised by Sahbi) and each detail has been taken into consideration to have everything we need. We are really grateful to all the staff and thank them for their efforts. We actually don’t have anything to complain about. We will come back anytime we have the chance.

ENG: This was seriously my best vacation ever, and we're already planning to come back! Let me break it down: Hotel - The welcome itself was a real surprise! No complaints at all, everything was spot on. The resort is big enough to take a walk every day or evening. Room - There were a few minor things here and there, but that's just maintenance overlooking stuff, nothing major. For us, cleanliness was the most important thing, and it was really, really good. The amenities met and exceeded our expectations. Staff - Mostly very polite and helpful. I have to especially mention the restaurant staff. We had the ROTANA CLUB, and the service there was absolutely amazing. Food - Because of the club, we tried other restaurants too, and the food was great, but the Rotana Club restaurant was just perfect, and I'd definitely pay extra for it again. The international cuisine selection is excellent. And don't even get me started on the snacks and drinks by the beach and on the promenade – that was awesome, others should learn from you. Beach - Clean, right by the ocean, and white sand. Again, we had a private beach with service, and I have no complaints. Just amazing... Negative - Nationality SEGREGATION based on where you're from. This is unacceptable nowadays. Let me explain: I'm from the Czech Republic, but I booked through a Polish travel agency because our agencies didn't have it anymore. So, I got a blue ROTANA CLUB wristband at the airport and was automatically Polish... That really ticked me off. But it didn't stop there. In the restaurants, everything was fine, but as soon as a tourist with a red wristband – a German – showed up, the staff would bend over backwards to treat them like royalty. When a Czech with a green wristband showed up, they were just a valued tourist, and only because they had ROTANA CLUB. !!!!!! THIS HOTEL DEFINITELY NEEDS TO CHANGE THIS !!!!!! We ended up taking it as a joke and had fun with it, like we were at a theater. Especially since they treated us as Polish, meaning higher spending power... but it was embarrassing on their part, and this happened throughout the resort, not just in the restaurants... And then the chaos at the airport departure, they really don't have that sorted, and I recommend focusing on it.

Great hotel, large area, lots of amenities, lots of options to spend time. However, hotel is around 20 km from nearby city Salalah and it is very difficult to get there cheap. Best to get a car dropped off at Rotana if you want to do sightseeing on your own.
