When i say this place completed my honeymoon, I truly mean it! This resort treats you like family, their service is incredible, their energy is always positive, and their food is AMAZING! They help you make reservations each day, we tried pretty much every restaurant they have on here with most of them being Michelin experiences!
We initially only booked 2 nights for the start of our honeymoon before heading north for a few days, then last minute we cancelled our tail end of the trip stay to stay here again for 4 amazing nights. We cannot recommend this place enough. You will feel part of their family as soon as you walk through the door. Thanks again for the amazing experience, my husband and I are truly grateful and we will certainly be back in the future!

Disappointing-beware COLD POOLS.
What a shame this beautiful hotel with excellent food, service and high levels of comfort couldn’t provide a heated pool. I had been working very hard in the run-up to Christmas and was really looking forward to just lying next to the pool while my children played in it. Even my children found it difficult to get in. So not a great rest for me. When I asked the pool attendant why it was so cold he said that the heater was broken and they were awaiting the delivery of a part to fix it.
I had heard about the cold pools from other visitors, but I was assured that the main pool (A) in the middle was warm and indeed there is a sign that says Aqua Climatada. Not so unless you enjoy cold water swimming. There are many other very beautiful pools, but these are also freezing.

Absolutely the most fabulous stay of my life so far. The service is impeccable, everything gets cleaned multiple times a day, anything they notice you’ve used more of, they refill triple, any request you have they will answer. The facilities are also amazing, you could spend your whole trip here and need nothing more - spa, pools, beach, golf, restaurants, some of which Michelin, evening entertainment, bars… The breakfast has a huge array of meals, egg buffet, fresh juices and smoothies…. I can’t say a single bad thing about this hotel!!!!!

The Beach Bar at Bahia Del Duque offers a fantastic experience, made even better by Jose's exceptional service. Despite being on his own today, doing the bar and waiting tables, he managed everything seamlessly with a friendly and professional attitude. His dedication and efficiency ensured all guests felt well cared for. Highly recommend both the venue and Jose's outstanding hospitality!

Run don’t walk to the Ritz down the street. At $750usd for a night it’s not worth it.
-shower has mold in it
-shower head not connected correctly and sprays water straight up to the ceiling
-someone’s toe nails were on the floor of our room
-the beach is a private concession and you have to pay for a breach chair
When I told the lady at the front desk about the first 3 items she was very dismissive. I could overlook most things but the toenails were disgusting.
All around the Ritz is superior at the same price b
