Stayed here for a short overnight traveling on a Qatar Airways night flight. Arrived late at night - shuttle had already left but Uber was cheap and quick. Location is very convenient for airport access, but is somewhat outside of the center of Doha (there's a metro stop close by though, and Ubers are cheap and plentiful). Checkin was friendly and efficient; having booked two rooms for 2 adults and 2 children, the receptionist offered to change us to one two-bedroom suite so we could all be together. The suite was lovely, large and clean. It had a huge bathroom, with a separate shower and bathtub; another separate toilet and a large balcony - which was way too hot for sitting but a nice place to dry swim gear before the next flight. Additionally, the room had a little coffee maker, some fruit as a welcome amenity and bottled water. Unexpectedly, the room also had a treadmill in the main living area, which was a nice way to get some steps in without burning up outside. We used the pool in the morning, which is very refreshing and well guarded by two lifeguards who kept a close eye on our kids. Besides the pool, there was a large fitness area, for which I unfortunately didn't have time. For breakfast I picked up some coffee and muffins in the lobby coffeeshop, all were nice quality and staff was very friendly.

The staff were courteous and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I have no hesitation in giving this hotel a full 5-star review. Great stay at Hyatt Regency for a night stopover in Doha through the Qatar stopover hotel offer. The hotel offered a shuttle service from and to the airport every hour which only took 10 minutes. Staff were very professional, check in was smooth, room was very spacious, well equipped and clean. A special mention to the front desk staff, Karthik - noticed it was my birthday and the hotel arranged a birthday cake for me. Such a pleasant surprise! Will definitely choose Hyatt Regency for my future stopovers.

Stayed here for three nights for work. Excellent hotel. Staff is polite and cooperative. Plenty of dining options and also breakfast has many options. Rooms are large and clean. Good size gym and pool as well. Close to the metro station too.

Stayed here during a 1 day stopover in Doha. Had to wait 45 minutes for the shuttle to the hotel, this was somewhat expected as they informed us about this situation beforehand. Upon arriving to the hotel we were told our booked room was not ready yet and we would have to wait 45 minutes for the staff to prepare our room. After the 45 minute wait we were told it was still another 15-20 minutes, so we waited again in the lobby. After this wait staff came to us and informed our booked room was still not ready and offered to put us in a single King room. We booked a twin bed room and were not comfortable sharing a bed together. Staff proposed to add a single bed to this room but it would take even more time for this to be done. We asked for our booked twin room and if we could switch to the booked room whenever it was ready. We had already wasted a significant portion of our layover in Doha waiting for a room that never got provided so we were not exactly stoked for this outcome. We dropped our stuff off in the room (with 1 bed in it still) and went into the town so we could actually experience some of Doha. When returning back to the hotel after spending 5-6 hours in Doha we were not informed about us being able to swap to our booked twin room so we just walked back to the single King room we were provided in the meantime. We saw that a single bed was awkwardly added to the room in the middle of it not even neatly placed along a wall. We were genuinely looking forward to exploring and experiencing Doha during our layover but instead we spent a significant portion of our time there waiting for our booked room. We thought it was ridiculous for a Hyatt Regency location to be unable to offer a suitable and timely solution to this problem and instead opted to make us wait for nothing.
