The Joy Island All-Inclusive concept includes the following:

A magical place and a slice of heaven! We had a bungalow over the turquoise lagoon, which was beautifully presented and ‘cleaned’ twice a day. Unfortunately, the weather was often very windy and so we couldn’t swim in the lagoon, but a short walk onto the white sand beach provided a safe and truly gorgeous place to swim.
The food in all of the restaurants was plentiful and mostly delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, with each wearing a warm and welcoming smile.
My husband needed to see the doctor due to a chest infection and this was arranged within the hour - excellent service.
The island is beautifully maintained and absolutely spotless.
The delivery of our luggage was run like a well-oiled machine.
We swam with the turtles and felt safe and secure with 12 guests and 6 accompanying staff.
Our welcome and goodbye greetings were truly lovely - thank you.
Two suggestions:
1.Make it very clear as to which items are chargeable from your room fridge - as this was a little confusing.
2. Warn guests when you are spraying the mosquito insecticide as this was a bit of a surprise!

We do NOT recommend this hotel.
We had a room with a pool on the beach, the pool was completely broken, the terrace was dirty from iron stains from the table, the sofa was covered in felt-tip pen.
There were three of us, but the minibar was replenished every day for 2 people. That is, in a room where 3 adults lived, drinks were replenished every day for 2 people.
The biggest minus of this hotel is the service and terrible attitude towards guests. We called for two days, asked, wrote to bring us a third sun lounger, only after 2 days of my nerves and when I went to the reception myself, they brought a sun lounger, the same with any requests in this hotel.
On birthday, with the promised bed decor, we were fed just excuses that the information was passed on, or that the decor would be in the evening. But at the end of the day, there was only a cake in the room, which was also brought late in the evening, and it is clear that at 9 pm no one had eaten this cake....
About attention to guests, hospitality or just a pleasant atmosphere - this is absolutely not about this hotel.
Cocktails at the bar take a very long time to make, there are not enough workers, so you can wait minimum 20 minutes for one drink.
The only PLUS of this hotel is delicious food. But even so, be prepared for the fact that you will eat like in a canteen, from plastic dishes, even the bowls in a 5-star hotel were plastic. At all the bars, cocktails are served in plastic glasses ...

We went to joy island for our honeymoon. As part of the honeymoon benefits, they prepared a special meal and provided exceptional service with kindness and professionalism. Host Hassaan was especially helpful, guiding us throughout our stay and reminding us of our daily schedule. We were able to enjoy all the perks offered for honeymooners!
We stayed in both a Lagoon Villa and a Lagoon Pool Villa, and the views were breathtaking. The facilities were relatively new and very clean. The meals were varied and delicious, making it a place I highly recommend!

Excellent top class resort and the staff are lovely. We were looked after by Habeeb who was very supportive. We were all inclusive which means there are a limited number of drinks/cocktails and be aware you cannot order a cocktail in the restaurant unless you want to pay. It’s easy to forget to tip when all inclusive so we left tips towards the end. They certainly deserve a tip and tips are shared amongst the staff. We would highly recommend Joy Island!

Joy Island is truly heaven on earth. My friend Karon and I stayed for 10 days, January 2025. The staff are happy, helpful and work together as a team. There is constant preening and cleaning of public spaces. Nothing is too much trouble. We were designated a representative from the resort on our arrival, Wifeg, who dealt with any requests we had very efficiently. The food was freshly cooked at work stations, varied and delicious. Lots of choice at every meal time. A special mention to Dita and Candy, who looked after us in the restaurant. Always service with a smile. I'd definitely return and would recommend without hesitation.
