We stayed at this hotel for the first time to celebrate our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded all expectations. Everything was simply amazing — the food was exceptional, the entertainment was delightful, and the staff were absolutely outstanding. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcomed. We were also pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful honeymoon gift from the hotel, which made our stay even more memorable. Every moment was filled with warmth, care, and attention to detail. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we are already looking forward to returning in the future. ✨ The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! ✨ From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The beach was absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and soft white sand that felt like paradise. 🌊🌴 The food was outstanding — every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. 🍴 And the drinks? From the start to the very end, it was an incredible experience! We were picked up at the airport in Male and catered to at a VIP lounge until our in-land flight took off. After arriving at Robinson, even though it was late at night, we were served with a dinner inside our room. The days after were phenomenal: Robinson staff catered to our every need and want, the entertainment in the evenings was always enjoyable, and the atmosphere was one of relaxation. After boasting about their Dolphin Quest and Turtle Safari tours, we decided to book both with the water sports centre and were not disappointed at all! We saw over 50 dolphins in one spot, often flipping around and jumping out of the water to greet us. Especially great was the water sports and dive centre on the island; ranging from equipment to stand up paddle all the way to offering any PADI licensed course you wish, it was truly well managed. The dive instructors were kind, patient, and knowledgeable, making the entire experience highly recommendable.

A Magical Escape at Robinson Maldives After a long journey from Michigan, exhausted and bleary-eyed, my husband and I arrived at Robinson Maldives—and instantly, everything changed. From the moment we stepped onto the island, the staff greeted us with such warmth, refreshments in hand, and a genuine sense of welcome that made us feel like family. That first impression set the tone for what became one of the most magical trips of our lives. Our over-the-water villa was its own private sanctuary. With our own pool and endless views of the turquoise ocean, it felt like a world apart. When we wanted peace and privacy, it was pure bliss. And when we wanted company, there was always a group to join, laughter to share, or a small gathering to enjoy. Robinson Maldives somehow balances intimacy and community perfectly. The people here are the heart of the experience. Jamal, the restaurant manager, elevated every meal into something special with his kindness and attention to detail. Vivi, always beaming with her radiant smile, made us feel at home every single day. And Clara, the mastermind of guest gatherings, created evenings that turned into treasured memories—filled with music, dancing, laughter, and new friendships. We were also incredibly fortunate to experience the magic of Oz, the resident engineer and creative genius. Every night he transformed the atmosphere with music and performance, putting on shows that were not just entertaining but extraordinary. It felt like being part of something created just for us—intimate, dazzling, and unforgettable. For my birthday, the staff went above and beyond with a private dinner on the beach. It was pure perfection. I felt celebrated not just that evening, but throughout the week. Guests and staff alike showered me with kindness in a way that felt effortless and genuine. And the highlight for my husband—a devoted Lionel Messi fan—was an extraordinary goodbye gift: the restaurant team recreated one of Messi’s most iconic photos as an art piece on our table. It was breathtaking and deeply personal, a memory we will never forget. Thanks, Santiago ;-) The dining experience alone is worth the trip. Each meal brought flavors from around the world—tasty, adventurous, and beautifully presented. We looked forward to every evening, knowing it would bring either live music, dancing under the stars, or meaningful connections with people who started as strangers and left as friends. The setting itself is paradise. The rooms are immaculate, designed with a touch of magic. The water is impossibly clear, the shores pristine, and the island offers the perfect balance of relaxation and activity. We were never bored—whether exploring during the day or enjoying vibrant evenings, there was always something to experience. What impressed us most, though, was the thoughtful care at every turn. Even at 4 a.m. on the morning of our departure, the staff made sure we had coffee and breakfast before we left. That level of attention, from beginning to end, is rare. Robinson Maldives is more than a resort - it’s a place where you’re embraced by a community, celebrated as yourself, and given memories you’ll carry forever. It was worth every mile of the long journey to get there, and I can honestly say: we left part of our hearts on that island.

Amazing Villa, But Service and Food Need Improvement. We stayed in one of the new overwater villas, which was absolutely stunning. But sadly, the service and food didn’t quite match the beauty of the place. There weren’t many amenities in the villa—just shampoo and shower gel. When I asked for hair conditioner, the reception told me something like “even 5-star hotels don’t have it,” which honestly felt a bit ridiculous. I had to purchase an overpriced conditioner from their shop to avoid ruining my hair. The food was average at best. There was a heavy focus on vegetarian and Asian cuisine, but very few meat or seafood options. When meat dishes were available, there were always long queues, and the chef was clearly rushed—most meat ended up being undercooked. The fruit selection was very limited, with just a few options available most days. I was really disappointed not to see watermelon or melon until the very last two days of our stay. At breakfast, there was only one chef doing eggs, so there was always a queue (even though the resort wasn’t that busy). I was surprised to see some staff members eating at the buffet alongside guests. The dessert were great though, big selection and I really enjoyed local sweets station. That said, the island itself is beautiful, snorkelling was fantastic. Like most Maldives resorts, spa and water activities were quite overpriced, but that’s not surprising. I was really hoping for a great culinary experience like most of the reviews stated, sadly didn’t get it.
