Rooms I can’t discuss as I did not stay here. Service was the best service I’ve had all week in terms of communication and accessibility. Food was typical Mauritian food that was absolutely delicious and although seemed small, was more than enough to the point that we didn’t need desert. Great service and actually the best service we’ve had in a restaurant across sugar beach and la pirogue hotels so far.

La Pirogue is my favourite resort in Mauritius. The friendly atmosphere with excellent service offers any and everyone the perfect, exotic, relaxed and fun experience.
The staff go above and beyond to have a memorable stay to entice you back. Entertainment is tailored to all ages and the food and service is excellent.
The rooms are perfectly set up and the amazing beach right at your doorstep makes this a must stay!
Have to add that the beach facilities from kayaking, pedal boats, paddle boards, snorkeling and even scuba diving trips 5 minutes from the beach are incredibly well organised and made this trip all the more wonderful!
We treated ourselves to a spa - the authentic Mauritian massage was the best i have had.
So grateful for such a memorable experience.

Exceptional place to spend the vacation. Nice beach, enough sunbeds even in the afternoon. The most polite, kind and smiley staff. Claudia for the room service is the best. We had 8 great nights here. The last day we tried the Coconut Cafe restaurant for a dinner. We tasted delicious mauritian meals and enjoyed the company of the Yohan, Lea, Daavinen, Sumam and Sandil which were the best. Thank you, La Pirogue, for having this ewesome time here.

We stayed at La Pirogue in Flic en Flac for our belated honeymoon - it was wonderful. Locals say that ‘West is the best’ and Flic en Flac was always warm and sunny irrespective of rain in other parts of the Island.
Beautiful thatched roof bungalow bedrooms are set within the tropical gardens bordering on to the hotel’s private beach. Throughout the resort mineral water fountains were available to guests enabling them to stay hydrated.
The team throughout the resort are super and in particular our waiters Lobin and Jimmy looked after us throughout our stay as if we were members of their family. Breakfasts were made even more special with Asif’s hosting, Damilola’s beautiful smile within the fruit prep area, Mimi bar tender and Jade in guest services made our holiday very special.
We hired a car for 3 days and we thoroughly recommend Zub Express Car Hire located on the seafront in Flic Flac.
We would also recommend a fantastic excursion called ‘five island speedboat tour’ marketed by Summertime’s representative Vanessa based onsite next to the resort’s shop - it was amazing.
Another real benefit of the resort was the ability for guests to use the facilities of ‘Sugar Beach’ the sister resort next door and we had breakfast and lunch there on a number of occasions.

We recently stayed at Pirogue and everything was lovely especially the staff who is doing a great job. All the team at the kids club is amazing and took care of my son, Radu in an impeccable manner. The food is great, so fresh, the property is nice and I loved the sunsets on the beach, the garden full of palm trees and birds, simply paradise. I will come back and truly recommend to everyone.
