This has to be the best resort in Mauritius. A perfect place to get the nature's vibe along with all the modern comfort and amenities. Food here is great. Hospitality of the staff members is unimaginable. Eat your lunch looking at the ocean. Swimming pool, steam room, ice bath, jacuzzi, gym, tennis court, water sports, outdoor sports, you name it they have it all. A perfect staycation for each and everyone.

Beach amazing, sun loungers comfortable. Staff really nice. Rooms and restaurants are a little tired but well kept and clean. Service is on 'Mauritius time' so never quick 😆. Only issue I had was the cats, not sure letting cats roam around the restaurants when guests eating begging at tables for food, one of them looked unwell so we kept our distance and shooed them away from us.
Definitely go back, water sports etc were really good too.

We had a reservation at this hotel, which we had to cancel due to the incompetence of some of the hotel employees. Considering that on the hotel page it is specified that it organizes weddings, we have requested a brochure with the offers, which we received after a few days. We have chosen one of the options and sent an email to the hotel for confirmation and after a few days we received an email stating that they do not organize such events for people who are not staying at the hotel, even though we specified in the email that we have a reservation at the hotel, a reservation that can be verified very easily. I came back with another email in which I specified again that we have a reservation and their answer was "it's not possible anyway". By the answers we received in the email, we realized that they did not even read our requests, which is why we decided to cancel the reservation at this hotel.

Our stay at La Pirogue was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home. Kelly at reception was incredible, helping us sort out a problem with our SIM card.
We had an amazing birthday surprise for my mother-in-law, thanks to everyone who made it happen. Special shoutout to Mommy in the kitchen for her delicious food and friendly nature. Deborah and Tatiana were also wonderful, making our stay even more special.
Overall, the service was 5-star. We felt so welcomed and taken care of. We can't wait to come back! The beach is so beautiful and the swiming pool and gardens are simply breathtaking. All the staff makes you feel welcome. The hotel has lots of activities every day. Totally recommended.

We had a very nice time there in June. Nice location , good Staff & the food was great. The Resort is very big and you can use the Sugar Beach also! BUT we loved the priogue the staff was so much friendlier there. Especially best wishes to Tariq from the reception and the tall Manager from the restaurant i sadly forget is name. The did everything to give us a nice dinner, because they dont treated us well at Sugar Beach restaurant. So thank you for everything!
