The hotel environment is very well-maintained and beautiful, with a lovely seaside view. The food is delicious, offering a wide variety, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. In the evenings, there are small musical programs. The hotel also features paddle and tennis courts.
However, if you plan to go boating, make sure to arrive much earlier as they miscalculate the number of people and don’t inform you in advance to bring snorkeling equipment. Cleanliness is not perfect but satisfactory. Like in many places, there are lizards and cockroaches. The jacuzzi didn’t seem very clean, and the cocktails were mediocre.
In summary, the food and location make it an excellent choice!

We had the absolute pleasure of spending Christmas at the Lagoon Attitude Hotel in Mauritius, and we are beyond impressed! 🌟 The entire resort is a dream – beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The food was an unforgettable highlight: Whether at the buffet or one of the à la carte restaurants, every meal was a culinary delight. 🍽️ The Christmas Eve buffet was simply spectacular – from lobster to truffles, every dish was a masterpiece! 🎄✨
A huge thank you to the amazing team for their outstanding service! Every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Rita, our housekeeper, who went above and beyond to keep our room spotless and beautifully decorated. Her attention to detail made our stay extra special. 🏡❤️
Our verdict: A holiday doesn’t get any better than this. We wholeheartedly recommend the Lagoon Attitude Hotel and are already dreaming of our next visit. 🌊🌞 Thank you for making this Christmas truly unforgettable!

We spend 10 days in the hotel over new years. The location is fantastic, beautiful views. The service was perfect. Especially Reena was a true angle, friendly, helpful but also very good with her staff. Only downside to me was that other guests reserved the sunbeds really early in the morning. I am not the biggest fan of buffets, so we tried to eat in the restaurants or outside, which was easily possible. Checkout was a little difficult, as I was told I didn’t understand the bill. We did find a friendly agreement in the end. All in all

Visiting for my wife’s birthday- the team went way beyond to make her feel very special on arrival and on her day, appropriately and gentle as my wife hates attention being brought to her which they managed perfectly. I’d arranged a Gluten Free Black Forest Gateau ( her favourite), it was wonderful ( extra £10- would have cost at least £50 in Manchester)- had the Lobster menu that night ( £120 extra) just 5* perfection- I’ve paid 4/5 times that, in England and Ireland for meals in celebrity chef restaurants that wouldn’t come near it.
The team were wonderful, friendly, warm, natural and fun when engaging in that type of situation.
The room was great but maybe not luxurious- the ethos of environmental protection probably affects that, but we were delighted with that approach.
All food and drinks were exceptional with the bar at the Coral restaurant standing out for cocktails and vibe.
All the named restaurants that came as part of the all inclusive served beautiful meals, as a seafood lovers, we were very well catered for. My wife’s Gluten Free was accommodated without fuss nor having to be asked.
Beachfront is wonderful and sea in the lagoon is like paradise.
All activities like snorkelling, kayaking etc- all included at no extra cost.
Days on the Island, especially the speedboat and South side trip were excellent. Special mention to Fred on the One Love Speedboat, made special effort to get us a sight of the dolphin swimming near us.
Non chemical, natural sun cream provided at various places around resort ( though we didn’t realise until the last day)

We had a pleasant stay at Lagoon Attitude Hotel, though there are a few aspects to consider before booking.
While Lagoon Attitude has many positives – especially the friendly staff, cheerful atmosphere and amazing spa – it didn’t quite deliver the 4-star experience we were expecting. If you’re a foodie or someone who loves a beach holiday, you might feel this isn’t the best fit. Compared to other 4 and 5-star resorts which offer a truly luxurious experience, this hotel feels cramped and little less polished.
That said, it’s a good choice for a relaxing getaway with great service, plenty of space to unwind, and a beautiful setting to explore the east coast of Mauritius.
