AVOID – Unless You Want a Week of Stress Staying here felt more like a week on rather than a week off. The problems were endless. I counted over 20 trips to reception for various issues—coming from someone who rarely complains, even when things aren’t great. The Nightmare Check-In • We were given a downgraded room that looked more like a hospital room than the one we paid for—completely different from the pictures. • When we raised this with reception, we were met with zero concern. The older gentleman at the desk was rude, dismissive, and had no interest in helping. We politely explained the issue, but he insisted there was nothing he could do. • We agreed to stay for the night but contacted EasyJet to step in and resolve the issue. Room & Hotel Issues • The air conditioning didn’t work in 35-degree heat (we saw others complaining too). • The room phone didn’t work, making it impossible to call reception. • One staff member tried gaslighting us into thinking the AC worked, claiming he could feel air coming out—he definitely could not because it wasn’t even on. • He also lingered in our room unnecessarily, making us uncomfortable as two young women. • We were told we’d get a fan, but at 1 AM, after waiting an hour, I went down to reception to find out they just hadn’t bothered—despite not being busy. Thankfully, EasyJet got involved and secured the correct room for us. But the problems didn’t stop there. New Room, New Problems • The water randomly stopped working at times. • The key card constantly failed, forcing us to walk back and forth to reception multiple times in 40-degree heat. The same rude receptionist would just glance at the card, throw it back at me, and say, “Try it now”—without actually doing anything. After being sent back 3-4 times, he finally issued a new key, which miraculously worked. Staff & Service Failures • On the last day, I asked reception to book me a taxi. They didn’t—so I waited outside for 40 minutes before a random taxi driver (who was expecting another couple) let me share. • Lower-level staff were fine, but management was useless—doing nothing all day. • The supervisor of the cleaning team was shockingly rude and condescending to staff. We had even more issues, but honestly, I’ve tried to forget them. It’s taken me this long to recover enough to write this review. The Only Positives • Lovely adult-only pools • Decent food variety • Enjoyed seeing the animals around • Nice beach with some activities nearby Final Thoughts After reading other reviews, it’s clear that this wasn’t a one-off experience—many guests have had the same issues with staff incompetence, lack of care, and unprofessional behavior. I cannot believe I spent £1,000 to leave feeling mentally drained with zero compensation. Avoid this place at all costs.

Just saying what i think
Lovely stay here for a week getaway. Service was amazing, very helpful and polite staff, in particular Venicia one of the managers. She was very attentive to any issues we had. Food was good, enjoyed the all inclusive. Only thing I would say is that the location is pretty remote. Is good if you want a nice relaxed beach type holiday. Away from all the hassle and bustle.

Where do I even begin. Firstly the photos for this hotel are very misleading. Stating it’s a 5* hotel when it’s more of a 2* in my opinion. We had a family room booked for 3 adults and 1 small child to begin with. However the room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in it. After speaking with the manager they moved us to a family suite which was a lot better, however still a few issues. - 5 coat hangers on the wardrobes to use between 3 adults and 1 child. - Mouse droppings on the balcony that hadn’t been moved the whole duration of our stay, which clearly shows that the cleaners don’t clean up properly. - Piles of sand in the room (we hadn’t been to the beach) so again, the rooms are not cleaned properly. - €25 for a safety deposit box which is in the wardrobe and it’s smaller than a shoe box so there isn’t a great deal you can fit in it, especially for 3 adults. All food in the restaurants is lukewarm, nothing is hot. All inclusive drinks stop at 11pm meaning you have to pay for the remainder (never had I EVER been to an all inclusive and drinks stop at a specific time). FYI - It’s easier to take your own pool towels as you have to pay a €10 fee for a paper thin towel and they can only be changed every 2/3 days. In the 7 days of my stay I hadn’t seen the pools being cleaned apart from “swim up rooms”. Kids pool was filthy the whole duration, had to ask staff members to come and clean it. Yet still was dirty. No irons for “healthy and safety” reasons, but of course you can “PAY” a fee to have your items to be ironed. Kids entertainment on a night lasted a whole duration of 15 minutes! Italian kids are only allowed in the kids club which is appalling and when asking staff members they cannot give an explanation why.

8 night stay in Lindos Royal. ( All inclusive deluxe swim up room inland view) The amenities in the hotel are great, our swim up room was clean and Cleaning service was exceptionally delivered. Big minus is leaving the dirty towels / sheets in bags in the hallways, we bumped into these several time after cleaning service were done. Received open body lotion near sink which was a downside, didn’t feel 5*.Lots of moths in the room and ants - not sure how much can be done about this didn’t bother us that much. Inland view shared pool room doesn’t get much sun so bare in mind. Pool attached to room was very cold, so perhaps heating it for guests would bring this hotel to 5*. The views from the hotel are amazing, we loved the private cove you can snorkel in, big highlight. Loved the beach belonging to the hotel with sunbeds! Staff were lovely, specifically in the pool Bar and in the Main restaurant, always offering drinks. Bringing a nice atmosphere to the hotel and its guests. However, Calypso bar didn’t have a warm atmosphere from the staff at all. All inclusive food was unfortunately the worst I’ve had for a package holiday - stale, tasted like it was prepped day before and left in the fridge. Easy things like chips were a let down. Snack bar could have had fruits and salads, fresher gyros as it was stale, again. Hard to eat. Buffet Salads and veg tasted like it sat open in the fridge mixing with other smells and not contained properly. The food was a very sad let down - I never leave bad reviews but unfortunately the food was very very poor. Themed restaurants were better, if that was the quality of the buffet food this would be a 5* hotel. Great pools, lots of space.Entertainment was fun! But Sun bed sitting as not enough seats bare in mind. The location and rooms and other amenities are fantastic but the food really lets this beautiful hotel down. Shout out to reception staff who were so helpful with info, taxis and other general information

I just can’t justify giving this a higher star rating than a three. The hotel states it’s a 5 star hotel but the rooms and service are subpar to some four star hotels I’ve stayed on the same island and paid a thousand pounds less for the week stay. The hotel seems run down in places, food is like warm at best and staff don’t really seem to know what to do when told about and issues. Today we asked if there was an iron available and we were told the hotel did not have any ironing facilities due to health and safety. Our only option was to pay for the dry cleaning service. For 5 stars I’d expect an iron in my room.
