    The hotel is just 12 minutes from the airport by speedboat, which is very convenient. We stayed in a sunset view room — it was beautiful. The restaurant’s interior is stylish, breakfast is tasty, and dinners are truly exceptional with international options. Staff are very attentive, cleaning the room twice daily and responding quickly to any issues. They also helped us with early and late check-out. The only downsides were the rocky, low-visibility shoreline — sea shoes are a must — and the presence of boats and jet skis near swimming areas, which can be a bit distracting. Overall, a great place with beautiful views and excellent service.

    An unforgettable Maldivian escape just 15 minutes from the airport! We had a wonderful stay at Malahini Kuda Bandos. The speedboat transfer was smooth and super quick—perfect for a short getaway. The island is stunning, with soft white sands, clear turquoise water, and lush greenery all around. What stood out the most was the hospitality—every staff member we met was warm, professional, and always willing to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we especially loved the beach access right outside. Food at the buffet was diverse and tasty, with plenty of options to suit different preferences. We also tried the spa and it was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and conveniently located island experience in the Maldives. A hidden gem worth visiting! 🌴✨

    Hello Malahini Team, I am honestly very disappointed with my stay here. From the first day, I was given room 314 which is extremely small, has no proper view, and the bed is very uncomfortable—it gave me body pain and I could not sleep well at all. The bathroom has a very bad smell which made the experience even worse. Also, the balcony is not private at all, it feels like a hospital room, not a 5-star resort. On top of that, everything here is charged at a very high price, even basic things, which makes the experience stressful instead of relaxing. Another big disappointment is that there is no public swimming pool available, so on days when the weather is not suitable for the beach, we have no option to enjoy the water. Honestly, yesterday I was wishing I could just go back to my country immediately. If I had any option or another place to go, I would have canceled my booking and left the resort the same minute. This is not what I expected from a 5-star resort, and sadly, my holiday was not enjoyable at all.

    We absolutely loved our stay at Malahini. The hotel is located on a small, stunning island just a short boat ride from the airport — truly a paradise on earth. You can snorkel all around the island and discover the incredible underwater world, and the hotel even provides snorkels and masks as part of the all-inclusive package. The rooms were well-equipped, the food was delicious throughout our entire stay, and we also enjoyed a private beach dinner — a truly romantic and unforgettable experience. We highly recommend booking a massage during your stay as well. Don’t miss the free excursion to a local island, which was a great way to see a different side of the Maldives. An amazing stay from start to finish!

    Our experience at Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort from 25/08/2025 to 01/09/2025, where we came to celebrate our anniversary, was a major disappointment. Upon arrival, we discovered that we could not leave the island to visit other islands or book excursions with outside agencies; the hotel requires that all activities be arranged through them, at much higher prices. On August 28, we took a shark-watching excursion for USD 162 per person, as advertised in their promotional video, but we did not see any sharks—only manta rays—which does not match the activity offered or our expectations. We understand that exotic animals can be difficult to spot, but when an excursion is sold as guaranteed or as the main experience, the hotel should provide a proper solution, such as repeating the excursion or taking us to another area where sharks can actually be seen. The “solution” they offered was a turtle-watching excursion at an additional cost of USD 160, which we did not request. We want to see sharks, not pay for a completely different activity. This situation left us feeling cheated, as we expected a much better experience for our anniversary stay. Although the hotel is very beautiful, it is not worth staying so many days in a resort where you cannot freely explore the area and are forced to book all activities directly through them. We consider these practices to be a serious violation of guest rights and a clear lack of transparency and professional ethics. We plan to formally escalate this complaint to the Maldives Ministry of Tourism so that other tourists are not misled in the same way. We do not recommend this resort under any circumstances and advise future guests to seek alternatives outside the hotel for excursions.
