Great location, that is a close walk to Chinatown as well as Havelock metro line.
Great, friendly staff.
Fantastic choice of breakfast buffet.
Good-sized room and amenities. On-site laundrette.

Large rooms. Staff were really helpful...even ordered us an Uber to get to the airport. Allowed us to use the pool till we were ready to leave for the airport. Lovely breakfast. Will use them again.

Great old place, but don't get me wrong, it's still great. Nicely furnished, good vibes, polite staff, great atmosphere, not crowded. Great place to relax for a holiday. Near to mohd sultan drinking holes n Chinatown. Also near to great world city mall, n a bit further away is Orchard road.. good value

The hospitality was theorist part the front desk operations was the reason for this. The staff is extremely arrogant and have been rude..I will never recommend this hotel for any further traveller's...I have been to this property earlier many times and never faced with such a worse treatment....

Perhaps I was just unlucky in room allocation but the rooms in my wing ( to left as you face reception) were dated and bit tatty. Asked to move rooms as - bath had rusty patches, bath plug didnt allow to fill bath (which was shame cause it was long bath) , aircon was stuck too cold, final straw was toilet wouldn't stop flushing. 2nd room no such problems but smelt rather musty. Had no view just a building side.
Pool area bit jaded and disappointingly had no bar service for drinks. Spa also disappointing - only a few body massages available nothing else.
Food in Fern restuarant was plentiful and good.
Staff (especially May) mostly lovely. Everywhere was nice and clean.
Close to river walk but fair way from other major attractions . Suggest ok for overnight pre flight stay but not so great for shortbreak or holiday.
