I had a lovely stay and the resort, the staff were great and the service very good. Beautiful breakfast, the man who looks after the eggs needs special praise, always happy and smiling and can turn out any kind of eggs to perfection. Big pool, no beach but very comfortable seating. Kids club. You do need transport to see anything, go to the King's summer palace and the National Park. I was upgraded to a suite, there were small things that need attention due to wear and tear but the view was fantastic.

It could have won a higher rating, but the 1 star vote is for the bad service and hospitality attitude.
The service and staff attitude are somewhat disappointing for what being charged. We paid 8000THB for the gala dinner which is from 7.30 to midnight. And we are supposed to have our own table for the whole course of the event. But when we just left the table for a walk after the food, they cleaned everything from our table.
As we came back and asked nicely for setting up the table again as we d like to continue with the dessert the, the staff just brought us the cutlery, leaving on an empty and unclean table as shown in my first photo. They promised to refill the drink as part of the package we purchased, but they were not around to help us with this. I contacted the manager of this, but they never set the table as they did at the beginning. This killed all the mood for the holiday we paid for at the hotel.
Plus, the room is not good with sound proofing, if people run and talk in the hall way, you heard everything.
The staff at the bar by the pool is somewhat rude and did not listen to what we ordered, I asked for a less sweet Mai Tai drink, but got a super sweet one.
When it was dark, the staircase by the pool was not lit up properly, which can pose dangers to kids and seniors.
With the amount of money paid, one could have found a better one and been treated with a great attitude.

I had high expectations for this renowned hotel, but my stay was quite disappointing. The breakfast was of poor quality with minimal choices and tasteless food. The kids’ club, although spacious, requires an additional fee to use each activity or machine, which feels excessive given the room rates.
The location is quite remote, making it difficult to access any nearby attractions or restaurants. The food at the hotel was the worst I’ve experienced, like really really bad, with extremely high prices that don’t match the quality. Additionally, there is no beach access, which was a major disappointment for a coastal property.
To make matters worse, the outdoor parking garage has no shade, leaving the car exposed to the elements all day. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially considering the price.

A rundown resort in need of urgent renovations.
Condition of bathroom is not acceptable.
Broken furniture and worn out flooring.
We booked for 4 nights but left after 3 nights.
This is a pet friendly hotel, lots of dogs around.
They do have lots of activities for children, but I'm afraid it doesn't make up for the terrible condition of the rooms.

On arrival, the reception area is very impressive and looks very fancy although the rooms need some renovation as they are outdated with some drawers broken etc.
They offer happy hour 5pm-6pm on mai tais and piña coladas however if you want to benefit from this you will need to order a couple at the same time. On the last night we ordered two drinks at 5.10pm and received them at 5.50 - multiple drink orders were taken and made prior to us receiving the drinks. They were good despite the wait - I think this is due to only one member of staff working at the bar.
The staff try their best to make sure you are happy with your stay and were friendly.
There are quite a lot of activities for children, however I feel that events for adults is lacking.
There is also no private beach or executive lounge. The gym is decent although its positioning is weird as you have to walk through the breakfast area. Breakfast was decent with lots of options, the kids buffet needs improving as it consisted of just sweets and cakes.
The area is remote with a 7/11 just outside and a couple of bars and resturants - quite a lot were closed.
If we were to come back to Hua Hin I think we would opt to stay in the centre as it offers a lot more. Overall, I think this is a good hotel for families however if your looking for a more romantic couple stay I would suggest the centre as it doesn’t give the usual radisson vibe.
