Lovely hotel with exceptional service and staff!
What general manager Mr. Brillatz with staff delivers in terms of service and guest satisfaction at this 5 star hotel at this pricelevel is unmatched when comparing to similar hotels we have stayed at in Seychelles, Maldives, West India or anywhere else in the world.
Hotel
Deluxe suite with terrace, perfect sized room for 10 days and great housekeeping! Good sized hotel, doesn't feel crowded at all. Great pool area and the service is great wherever you spend your day. Nice SPA with an really relaxing and enjoyable couple treatment. Aqua gym everyday and a lot of other activities with great staff is a nice bonus. Free to try SUP, canoes and even short boat trips.
Location
At the end of the road through Flic en Flac with its own little lagoon, it's really quiet and charming here. But you would need a taxi if you want to visit Flic en Flac village with its few restaurants and shopping. There are some bikes one can get though and you'll get there in 15min. The concierge will set you up with really great tours whether you want to go south or north för adventures.
Food
Buffet for breakfast and dinner when staying on half board. The breakfast is excellent and the Dine-Around concept at the two á la carte restaurants is better than most resorts when have ever tried. Hats of to executive chef Mr. Catora! 👍

We recently stayed at this hotel and I cannot praise it high enough. The property is ideally situated right on the beach and has good facilities and lovely rooms. I get a massage in the spa and it was one of my best experiences ever
the dinner buffet maybe need to add some varieties, the breakfast buffet was very excellent. the first day we asked them for early preparation for breakfast because we had an early trip and they prepared it for us, well not as expected but it was a nice service provided by them

Stayed in October 2024. I've been lucky to stay in 2 luxary hotels in a row and I still think Sands Suites Resort & Spa is the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
Everything is very clean, they don't use paper napkins even in a WC next to the reception, everything is made of fabric and perfectly white. There are 3 restaurants to choose from and I really enjoyed every meal there. In the wellness centre there is hammam, sauna and a whirlpool bath,massage. The room cleaning was ninja, we never saw them and they never disturbed us in the room, but once a day the room was cleaned, the towels were changed and twice a day we had a bottle of still water per person. In the evenings we also found a little bar of chocolate and a wish of a good night on the bed. All these little details made our stay really cozy. There is an artificial barrier next to the hotel which protects the beach from waves and makes it safe for unsure swimmers. The beach isn't for snorkeling though, there's nothing to see just next to the hotel. However, there are free rides for snorkeling and glass-bottom boats offered by the hotel. Most of the staff I talked to spoke English and/or French fluently. At the reception one can exchange euros, dollars, the rate is better at the airport though.

We spent 4 nights at this resort and it was really amazing. Staff was very polite and their hospitality was amazing. They even arranged Indian vegetarian dinner for us for all days as the standard buffet had majorly non veg dishes. Location is just on point with easy access to all the attractions nearby.
