We bought a day pass to use the facilities during the day. The resort is beautiful and our whole family really enjoyed the pools, lazy river, and beach. Our day pass included a buffet lunch. The lunch was delicious with a wide variety of options and the chef Edam was so kind and went out of his way to make our lunch enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here or visiting for the day.

My worst experience staying at a luxury hotel with more than five restaurants and lounges, none of which serve food. I just needed to bite some warm food because We traveled for six hours and arrived at the hotel exhausted. Most of restaurants needs reservations even it's empty.I arrived at 4:30 and waited till 6:30 to have some low quality food . The resort is far away from city center so I don't want to go far away .The staff are extremely Insouciant and irresponsible. Just wasted time money and energy. It's extremely poor facilities . I never recommend it to anyone even my enemies.

The resort was astonishing me . The location is so amazing. It’s recommended to spend the holidays there.peace and quiet. The service was good but i really wish if they created a special point for the Arab gulf women more specific areas swimming pool, private beach or gym.

The view and swimming in the sea is exceptional but unfortunately the service was not great.. have to wait forever to be served your coffee at breakfast and most of the times after you are done eating. Cleaning service always forget to place either water bottles or coffee sachets and when you order take forever to bring to your room. Cleanliness after they are done with the room suboptimal. Even when we took the electric boat failed to explain fully how to operate it and we almost crashed into the rocks after the boat ran out of charge apparently there is away to re start it which we were never told about and even life jackets half way on our way they remembered and we were brought them to wear half way in the sea. On top of that when told about the safety and regulations the staff argue and became defensive. Even a simple salad I saw a dead warm in it.. no proper apology just was not charged for it. And reserving restaurants at the hotel and even after confirming with them the time we discover none was made saw we had to personally walk into the restaurant to reserve the table. Over all it felt not enough employees and untrained employees in hospitality. My friends had stayed in this hotel several times in the past and they are shocked how the service has declined from previous years. As for me I don’t think I would choose this hotel again unless the service improves dramatically with better trained employees

We stayed at the Al Waha, which is the kids-friendly part of the resort. The location is beautiful and the beach is great. The staff is very friendly, especially the girls (Alex and Den) at the reception (they remembered our daughters name and a particular injury on her arm, and asked if she was alright at check out), and the Eliyas the housekeeper is super friendly.
However, everything in the hotel is incredibly expensive, especially when dining out in one of the restaurants - and when you’re order is wrong 4 out of 5 times, the fries are cold and the food takes forever and doesn’t arrive at the same time (at the Assira) then it simply isn’t worth the money. The Assira is understaffed and I’d recommend one of the other lunch restaurants at the resort.
All in all a beautiful place if you are into resorts.
