This is my third time staying here, and although the last time was 10years ago, as always, the stay was perfect. As always, the staff were friendly and helpful. This was my first time staying at Al Waha, as this time we were travelling with our 11-month-baby. It is well catered for families, and all the amenities are appropriate for young children. Although the room and bathroom now feel a bit outdated, the resort itself still feels new and of top quality. Will definitely be coming back here again, thanks.

Love the hotel - had a wonderful weekend there with friends. Service was good, staff were extremely attentive and polite. Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the various programs available. In other words, one cannot and should not be bored there. Loved the breakfast spread and the relaxed ambience at Al Tanoor, and the friendly and helpful staff. Dinner experience at Bait Al Bandar could be better.

Among the attractive places that you must go to, including hotels, restaurants, and beautiful beaches that are very well equipped and very clean, and complete equipment such as dressing rooms, chairs, and towels are available for you with excellent service and very very clean. Also, children's and adults' swimming pools and recreational facilities. Everything is here for you to have a great day

The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and kindness throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the remarkable breakfast spread, which boasted a diverse array of dishes. Our waiter, Ali, provided impeccable service, ensuring all our needs were promptly addressed, including catering to the preferences of my baby during her meal. However, there was room for improvement in the breakfast organization; the dual waiting lines, one inside and one outside the restaurant, caused inconvenience, particularly for guests accessing the poolside rooms like ours. Despite the availability of numerous unoccupied tables, delays in clearing and setting them up for new guests were observed. Nonetheless, the room consistently maintained cleanliness standards, with delightful towel artwork on the bed that delighted my baby. In summary, our experience was overwhelmingly positive.

"Please stay here atleast once in your life time!" That's what I want to tell everyone I know. The property is exclusive, pristine, a little heaven on a dry land with water so clear you wouldn't want to come out. Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah has 3 hotels- Al Husn, Al Bandar and Al Waha. We stayed at Al Bandar for 2 nights (please stay atleast 3-4nights) and never in my life I have been home sick for a hotel after coming back to my actual home.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the food is extremely good especially their breakfast and I have never seen such a humble, warm, ever so helping staff. Starting from our check-in which was done by Maybelline- she was so thorough, quick and explained us literally everything. Senali from guest Relations was kind enough to sit us down and help us with our queries and showed us the hotel when we requested her. Moataz the restaurant manager during our breakfast took such great care of us and went out of the way to arrange for eggless pancakes for my friend who is allergic. Celjun the cute and smiling guy from Housekeeping, man I'll not forget his face is the kindest guy. He was so good at his job that mere touch up looked like a proper set up. The 2 guys at Piano Table are really sweet as well and recommended us perfect drinks and food. I'm very sure I'm forgetting a few names but as I said the staff here is nothing like I have ever seen anywhere.
