Such a nice place to stay w your family plus the room is very comfortable and clean. It is very kid friendly. Have variety choices of food which is worth every penny to stay here. Hopefully the good service provided by the staff will be maintain. They also provide a wish card and a slice of cake for our anniversary upon request. Surely will come again

Overall a great family holiday here. The rooms are a little dated but well sized and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is huge and has almost any cuisine you could imagine. The bar and grill on the beach is a beautiful place to get dinner. They have some more affordable options like pizza, or go all out on the grill. The pools were busy but we stayed in a peak period. The beach next to the hotel wasn’t a great place to relax, it was full of people trying to sell JetSki rides. Location is great, easy to get to all the attractions in Penang, although there aren’t many nice restaurants within a walk compared with downtown Georgetown.

The beach is not clean at all and not relaxing for sure. Pool is great for kids. Breakfast was average, a lot of cuisines but most food were cold and not up to the standard. Not worth to pay RM700 per room per night unless you have kids to enjoy the pool. I came here 4 years ago and overall value for money has certainly dropped. Might be my last trip here.

The Breakfast spread is very good with wide choice of foods available to suit any nationality. Service at the hotel is good from the start. Bell boys take your cases and direct you to check in. Check in process very smooth. Choice of pools for children and adults alike. Very close to the beach. Great for families.

The only reason stay to here is the hotel’s facility for kids. Although it carries names Shangri-La, the real or high end one is next door. This hotel is old, but well maintained. Apparently, very popular since it was packed by people during our stay. Locals with kids enjoy the facilities too so expect crowded pools. Food is nothing special - typical. Breakfast starts at 7 am, so missed one day’s because of early departure. Beach area is ok - didn’t swim because of high tides. Overall, if you traveling with young kids - it’s a good place. If no kids, choose other hotel.
