The Breakfast spread is very good with wide choice of foods available to suit any nationality. Service at the hotel is good from the start. Bell boys take your cases and direct you to check in. Check in process very smooth. Choice of pools for children and adults alike. Very close to the beach. Great for families.

First time stayed here. Surrounding very good, walkable to many shops nearby. Beach is nice, with many beach activities to choose from like jet ski, banana boat, para sailing, etc. The hotel also features kids area and swimming pool sure attractive enough for the kids and parents too.

It was great experience at all. From checkin till checkout. Room was spacious and superb. Swimming pool the greatest at all and make some awesomeness. Parent n kids join enjoying the pool. Everything was great but i have my 2cent opinion for breakfast. Management should put barrier or queue belt for breakfast entrance. Some people just jump Q and straight to enter the restaurant and get the seat. Hopefully this can help the staff to get mad from customer. Overall for me is awesome. Will repwaet to come here next year

Despite the gloomy weather ,we had a wonderful holiday with our family including an active two and a half year old grandson. The check-in was smooth and front desk staff was polite, pleasant and helpful. As it was my husband's birthday on the day we checked in, they gave him a nice chocolate cake. Thank you. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were outstanding and service was very good. They were always smiling, helpful and most kind. There was a wide spread in the breakfast and food was tasty. There was a minor plumbing issue in our bathroom and it was attended to very quickly.The swimming pools were well maintained, presence of life guards who were always attentive. The other staff there too were really pleasant. The splash zone and kids swimming pool were a great hit with our grandson. We forgot to take our grandson's teddy bears on check-out. We realised this only on our way to the airport. When we contacted the hotel, the housekeeping staff were quick to find them in our room, sent us the picture of the teddy bears and have arranged to courier it to our home. We received them 4 days later. What a relief! Such excellent and efficient service is commendable. Overall it was truly an enjoyable holiday for all of us. Thank you Golden Sands for your hospitality. I would highly recommend the hotel and would go back there again

I am a repeat customer after experienced good hospitality last year and decided to upgrade my room to executive seaview this time to fully enjoy my family time here. However, I encountered several issues during my stay: 1. Slow check-in even though all counters are open, waited 15-20 mins 2. Inconsistent complimentary drink policy - i wasn't served at the counter but saw some random people beside got the drink? 3. No complimentary breakfast buffet, in comparison to the price i paid for other good class hotels - i was shock to hear it from the staff during check in. Not to mention i booked 2 rooms! 4. The balcony contaminated with pigeon droppings - no sense of cleanliness on the outdoor, it posed health hazard e.g. bird flu 5. Poor buggy service - whenever you need it, you won't find people driving it for you. 7 out of 10 times i need to walk to get to my car. Could have been better if there is a regular buggy who manned the stations. I personally received this great service from another hotel. These shortcomings, particularly compared to other 5-star hotels, make this stay my last! Rated 2 stars for the thoughtful gift for my celebration and 1 small bed for my kid.
