    I recently had the pleasure of staying at Silversands Hotel in Grenada, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Overall, my stay at exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway in Grenada. I can’t wait to return!

    We’ve stayed at 5 star beach resorts across the Caribbean and Hawaii and unfortunately were really disappointed in our stay at Silversands. We encountered several very nice employees but that did not make up from the short comings of our stay. The MVPs here were Valerie , Georgia and Stephon. They were fantastic. However - You can’t charge Four Seasons prices and not deliver on all service and product. Arrival/check in - Despite confirming our arrival transportation weeks in advance, I got a phone call the day before arrival asking if we wanted airport transportation. Seemingly suggesting they didn’t have my info from when asked earlier in the month - When we arrived at the airport, the driver wasn’t there. Someone made a phone call and he did eventually arrive. He said it was because of traffic but I’m still not convinced we weren’t forgotten about - Also weird, leading up to our stay I received several emails saying our reservation had changed and our price went up $4000?! I asked about this after checkin and somehow magically I then got another email with the correct price - Part of our reservation came with $100 resort credit. When I asked about this at check in to confirm, they had no idea about it. I had to show them my email showing this ROOM - room was aesthetically nice in appearance however had a lot of issues - AC could never get down to the temp we set it at. We brought this to the managers attention and was told later in the day it had been fixed. When we got back to the room - nope, it was hotter than ever in there so clearly hadn’t been fixed. We eventually had to move rooms because it simply wouldn’t get cold at all. Room 2 was better. But no “sorry” for the inconvenience of having to move rooms , a comped lunch. Nothing. No acknowledgement - The outlets in the bathroom didn’t work for the hair dryer. When I inquired about this, they said they fixed it. Got back to the room and it still wasn’t fixed - Tv channels volume was crazy. Some had no volume at all. Some , even with it set at 0 were super loud. - No warning to bring an outlet converter if coming from the US. Ended up frying my hair straightener as a result . No converters provided in room - Bed extremely firm and uncomfortable SERVICE - another huge letdown - we ordered lunch at the same time at the beach and yet every day we’d have to go track down a server to place an order. They very sparingly came around to check in - One day after a huge rain downpour our towels were soaked, no one came around to give us dry towels - Another day we came back to a clean room but no towels were left BEACH - ok. But quite narrow. Quite a bit of seaweed washed up after rain and really no attempt to rake this up FOOD - shrimp tacos were great - Breakfast got quite boring. Was the same buffet offered daily without any variety in the rotations - Out of pineapple juice the first 3 days we were here so no pina coladas CHECK OUT - despite stopping at the front desk the day before and confirming our airport transfer time of 2;15 pm, on the day of checkout we received a letter on our door saying it was scheduled for noon. I called down and they said that was never communicated - When we did get to checkout, our bill was wrong. They had added an extra taxi transfer charge we didn’t take - After checking out, our airport transfer (again scheduled for 2;15) never arrived. We ended up departing late and having to have someone from the hotel transport us (at least it was in a nice Tesla!) but we arrived later than anticipated the airport Ultimately I’m sad to say we won’t be coming back. There seems to be a lot disorganization, lack of attention to detail and service that a 5 star resort (and prices) can justify. Well check out

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Everything about this vacation exceeded my expectations. The ride from the airport was seamless and the rest of the customer service was above and beyond from the time I reached the property. All the staff were pleasant, hard working, and genuinely kind. The property was gorgeous and the room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. The balcony was so large and cozy that I sat outside every single night, where I saw a shooting star! I felt completely safe traveling here as a woman alone and I was able to really recharge and relax. I loved Grenada and really loved Silversands. I will definitely be back!

    If you are planning a wedding here, please don’t. Or if you do, please enlist the help of a local wedding planner because Gillian at Silversands is as incompetent as they come. She has way too much responsibility and not enough time or organisational skills to deal with queries for customers who are willing to upwards of $50,000 USD on a wedding with Silversands. Gillian had to be chased multiple times, I had to schedule multiple visits to the hotel because she was so disoriented and quite frankly, as a “luxury hotel” I shouldn’t be chasing YOU to spend my hard earned money. Not to mention, when we decided to move forward, she changed the terms at the last minute with no prior warning nor heads up. This is dubious sales tactics I will not stand for. It’s clear they don’t want nor need my money. As a result, I’ll be getting married elsewhere , where I’ve made more progress in the last two weeks than I have done in the last 6 months with Gillian at Silversands. @Silversands, more than happy to give further details as to how the ball was dropped on NUMEROUS occasions, if you’d like to get in touch.
