By far the best family resort we have ever been to! Firstly, The rooms were cleaned meticulously every day, spacious and a great view! Ahmed the spa manager was helpful and informative. Secondly, the pool facilities for both adults and children are first class! Clean, safe and the lifeguards actually look after the customers! Thirdly, the food (which normally in an all inclusive can become repetitive) is unbelievable! A different array of food every night. Freshly made and replaced often. Fourthly, the bar staff especially Mohammed and Saeed are very friendly and make you the best cocktails you will have! Very generous on the alcohol! Lastly the entertainment team are the best we have had the pleasure of dealing with: Annabelle, Hazel, Holly, Jess, Anna and Ellie were truly amazing from start to finish! They work tirelessly morning to night with a smile on their face and give 100% every day! Our holiday wouldn’t have been the same without them so thank you ladies! And very lastly, Flouris the Hotel Manager, one of the nicest gentlemen I have had the pleasure of dealing with. A true ambassador for this resort. He goes above and beyond to ensure all guests are happy and content. We wouldn’t normally return to the same place twice, but we are already looking at revisiting next year! Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our stay an unforgettable one. All my love, Rhys x

Overall, a very nice family-friendly hotel. "Water Park" is a bit of a stretch, they have (from what I saw) 3 water slides of no great size, but we weren't there for that anyway. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, speaking adequate-to-very-good English; there were a smattering of other nationalities but everything was signposted (etc) in Greek and English.

Absolutely fabulous! Here's an honest review, we went as a family of 5 (2 parents, 2 grandparents and a child) staying across 2 rooms for 1 week during a quiet period (we also got a child free place and booked last minute so the price we paid was a very good deal). FOOD Breakfast - Always a good selection of cereal, porridge, fresh omelettes, pancakes, yogurt with nuts/seeds etc to put on top, boiled eggs, your classic 'fry up' foods. Lunch and Dinner - The food was always varied with plenty of salads, pastas, meat and sides. Not a lot of fresh fish which I would expect but we never went hungry!! The deserts were also very welcome (not the classic 'foam' desserts you often get in all inclusives), in fact the chocolate torte and profiteroles were divine. They also catered perfectly for my coeliac husband - with gluten free bread and chocolate brownie or a 'snickers' cake for his dessert! You had the option of asking the chef to show you around too. He wasn't 'glutened' at all during our stay, and he never went hungry! STAFF Can't speak more highly of the staff! Everyone was so helpful and friendly! The deputy manager is always around (I don't think I've ever seen a more 'on it' manager!) So much so, that when our transfer didn't arrive to take us to the airport, he rang a friend who was a taxi driver to take us and we somehow made our flight! The waiters and waitresses were also so lovely, always clearing the plates (you're never left with a big pile on your table!) and they were great with my daughter. ENTERTAINMENT I don't think I've seen a more hard working entertainment team - they do it all! From the daily activities, to the mini disco, and even the evening shows! All great - classic hotel entertainment, and we loved it. Also, Annabell has a cracking voice! ROOMS We had a 1 bedroom suite which meant my daughter had her own space to sleep and wasn't just on a pull out sofa bed for the week! Clean, spacious and comfy beds - what more do you need? Just note, the picture on Jet2 shows a huge balcony - we didn't get one of these, instead it was a small outdoor space as we had a room on the ground floor (I think the huge balcony's are first floor?) Didn't affect our time there at all, but we did go in expecting one. POOL Such a great set out- there's a 'quieter' pool by the restaurant if you're looking for a more relaxing stay, or there's a big pool with water slides and all the entertainment higher up! From my 3 year old enjoying the kiddy water slides to my dad in his 60's enjoying the bigger water slides - we all had a great time! LOCATION Either a 15/20 minute walk to the beach or there's a free shuttle every hour that takes less than 5 minutes! Fab location! OVERALL Can't give anything below 5* for this hotel and we would love to return!

(Sep 2024) Our stay at the St. Elias Hotel and Resort in Protaras, Cyprus, was very enjoyable! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and care of the staff made us feel welcome and at home. The All Inclusive food offerings had a fantastic array of options catering to every taste. The Meze restaurant was a particular highlight, with some fantastic Greek food. We booked in twice! The All inclusive food was always fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented, and the variety of hot and cold snacks available throughout the day—along with cocktails and refreshing slushies—ensured we never went hungry. The ambiance throughout the resort strikes a perfect balance of comfort and relaxation. With landscaped grounds and thoughtfully designed spaces that made us feel like we were more in a village than a hotel. The spa offered some well priced respite from sunbathing, providing a tranquil escape and adding to the holiday experience. The resort offers two pool areas to suit any mood: one lively with slides, music, and activities, and the other a serene spot for unwinding. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with effective air conditioning that kept us cool and comfortable. The housekeeping team did an impeccable job every day. One of the highlights was the resort’s prime location, just a 10-minute walk to the start of the Protaras strip and about 15 minutes to Fig Tree Bay. Watching the sunset from nearby St. Elias Church, with its breathtaking views over the horizon, was an unforgettable experience. There’s also a free shuttle from the hotel, which is popular, so we recommend arriving early to catch a spot. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay all the more enjoyable. The bar and restaurant staff, are always helpful, jovial and ensuring that you are well looked after. Floris, the manager, deserves a special mention—he was hands-on and approachable, helping us coordinate with the airport to retrieve a lost suitcase and always checking in to ensure we were having a wonderful time. The entertainment team also did an excellent job of keeping the atmosphere lively and fun. As seasoned travellers, we both left with only one thought: we would love to go back. The St. Elias Hotel and Resort truly embodies the spirit of Cypriot hospitality, and I’m sure that this will be on the return agenda at some point in the near future.

Just left the resort after a 7 night stay. Absolutely loved every minute of our holiday. The accommodation was very clean with great air con. It was well equipped, and when we arrived in the early hours there was a fully stocked fridge with sandwiches and drinks. The family pool was great fun in the day with good entertainment for both children and adults. Evening entertainment was equally as good. The staff were really helpful and polite and so hardworking and they really made the effort to make everyone feel so welcome especially the children. A special thank you to Ioanna and Mohammed who just always seemed to be working none stop with a smile on their face and even came to wave us off. 5 stars from us. A perfect holiday 😊
