If you go with family you’ll likely have a good time. Food was generally good, excellent in places, service was warm and efficient and the rooms were spacious and comfortable although our view was of a car park. The weird bathroom layout was fine with a young family but wouldn’t work with teens! The immediate surroundings aren’t great but the nearest beach is ideal for kids, there are a handful of nice restaurants on the jetty and Alcudia town, which is a pleasant 20 min walk or 10 min bus, is really nice. However, the layout of the hotel seems designed to induce sensory overload! The pirate pool (which smells of urine constantly) is right in the middle of the property, next to the adult pool and veranda restaurant, so it’s impossible to escape the sound. Similarly, the evening entertainment was very loud and very late. Luckily we couldn’t hear it from our room but we tried to have a quiet drink one night (grandma was babysitting!) and couldn’t find a single spot away from the sound. So, if you’re searching for peace and quiet or romance I’d go elsewhere, but if you want to have an easy time with young kids and not feel judged for screaming toddlers, this is your place!

Beautiful hotel. Great spacious rooms. Lots of pools, although as we visited in October, all the outside pools were very, very cold. Found the inside pool, which was warm, so we spent the time there as we had a 6 month old. Food great. Entertainment was a little late, but ok. Had a great time.

It's a nice hotel, but not up to 5 star standard I don't think.
The good: location is excellent and the grounds have lots of swimming pool options. The rooms have a kitchenette.
The bad: all rooms contain a window from the bathroom into the bedroom, there is no blind on this window. There is also no door to the bathroom. I just don't understand this stupid feature. It removes all privacy and also means that whoever is sleeping is awoken by lights going on whenever someone uses the bathroom at night. They obviously have received complaints since their solution was to bring us a self-fitting shower curtain to cover the window. This resolved the privacy issue but the curtain didn't block any light so that was still a problem.
Shower door leaked onto the floor and our bath mat was never replaced.
Only one sunbed on the balcony.
Lots of screaming children. Thankfully we were off peak season, but it's definitely not a couples hotel.
Breakfast buffet is plentiful but food quality varies.
Some staff were lovely and super friendly and helpful, but we encountered a couple of very surly and abrupt people who gave the place a bad name.

Was here for my wife's 70th birthday. Came with my daughter/partner & 30month old grandson & my son/partner. Had a Junior Penthouse Suite, One Bed Penthouse Suite & One Bed Swimup. All rooms were fantastic & totally served our needs. Food was fantastic & the service throughout was top class. Would definitely return to this hotel. We went All Inclusive which was well worth the money.

The food was really good - best I have had in a resort. The staff took a bunch of time making sure the kids had a good time - for example when it rained they had a bunch of activities indoors within a few minutes.
We have been to almost 10 different resorts in Alcudia and this was a top option.
