The hotel is a must-visit for couples. • Diamond club status is recommended for the ultimate experience. • The hotel was fantastic, but there were a few things that could be improved. • The rooms were spotless, but there were some maintenance issues that needed attention. • The customer service was generally great, but there were a few folks who weren’t very friendly. • The beach was absolutely stunning. • The entertainment at 9 was fantastic. • The food was excellent, but you need to be a part of the diamond club to get the best choices. • The drinks were amazing, you have a ton of options to choose from. • They have a bunch of cocktails to make for you, maybe because we were diamond club members, they gave us the choice to pick whatever drinks we wanted.

1. The checking in process took almost an hour. 2. We were given coupon books, that totaled $300, instead of the advertised $ 300 room credit. 3. There were 3 bars, and they were always out of something. rum, vodka, ice, water etc. On a few occasions we were told to go walk to another bar and see if they have it. 4. We went to the steakhouse for dinner, and after over an hour of waiting for our food, we were told they were out of the steak we ordered. 5. The food in general was not very good, overcooked, dried out. One day they ran out of white bread. 6. The restaurant by the pool had a VERY limited menu, so you had to walk a far distance back to the buffet for lunch. 7. Room service - Food came very late , cold and wrong 8. The room was ok- needs updating. BUT the most concerning part was the mold in the hallways. Visible mold above the doors. 9. The building with the rooms, had 2 very small elevators in the center of the building long wait times. 10. everyone gave you a diff answer when you asked a question. 11. The Cabana we booked came with a butler, stocked mini fridge and lunch. The butler was a server, who worked our cabana, and the entire pool deck, so he was hard to track down, the lunch was him bringing us one of the items from the restaurant down by the pool, that was 5 feet from the cabana. he could not get us food from the buffet, or any other place. The cabana (#10) had ants all over the place, floor, walls etc. 12. I called the hotel about a week before our trip to get information, I was told there was a casino, and live music nightly. They did NOT have either of these. There was a show nightly, ran about an hour but NO live music, no other entertainment. They had a list of Activities during the day, and at night , but they never actually occurred., 13. Food service ended at 10 pm, so if you want food after 10 you have to order room service, 14. Staff was not accommodating, or polite. Unfortunately I do not think I would return back to this resort, or another Royalton. I know it is not a 5 star hotel, but it is part of the Marriott brand. It is not the most expensive, but for me and my friends, this was our budget, and a lot of money for us, and we expect a certain level of service, for the price we paid. We expect the ALL INCLUSIVE resort to NOT run out of alcohol, be clean, and to deliver on what you have advertised. Unfortunately they did not do any of these things.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here on holiday and it was worth the trip! We didn’t even have to leave the hotel as it was so fun just laying by the pool. When we arrived, we were greeted by the staff and gave a welcome drink which was really tasty. The food there was so good. There are activities on almost all the time to play. There are three pools; a volleyball pool, normal pool and a diamond club pool. We stayed in a Diamond club room which was really nice. Every time our room was cleaned, the staff would refill our fridge with nice drinks. The staff there were making you feel welcome. It was one of the best holidays I’ve been on. I highly recommend staying in this resort!

Reviews are indicative of the experience. The food is mediocre at best. The liquor is better quality than you’d expect. The service is l terrible. We asked to change rooms four times with no luck. The second day the manager said she wanted to meet with us so we assumed it was to get the room change we had requested. We waited on her for over thirty minutes in the lobby - she then told us she had too many people arriving and we could check back the next day. We did again the next day with no response. The party next to us was extremely loud during our stay - yelling, alarms that they wouldn’t turn off, etc. We were also bummed since we called ahead about the room and the occasion. We’ve stayed in a lot of nice and not nice places around the world - it’s disappointing when you pay for nice and it’s not. Not that this should matter, but I’m a Marriott Ambassador member and my partner is Titanium. You’d think they’d care about loyalty of all their members but especially the ones who spend over 100 nights a year in a Marriott. :(. The beach the property sits on is beautiful. Overall, Antigua is beautiful and there are better places to stay.

Stayed at this resort for a week with my friends. Best part out of the whole resort was the beach. The beach is super crystal clear water and amazing. The food was horrible because everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner it’s the same thing. There is absolutely no variety of food to choose from. My room was amazing, super clean, and I never had to ask for any items. The bartenders are very friendly. After 10 pm there is nothing to do in the resort everything is dead. Throughout the day there is a vibe team who try to entertain people. Last but not least don’t let the lobby staff fool you they told us we don’t need to make reservations to restaurants first come first serve but when we got there supposedly everything is booked because of diamond club. We saw plenty of tables and the staff refused to seat us down because we were not diamond club members.

We had a problem with our room key for the first few days and the manager gave us a complimentary cabana. Overall the island is beautiful. Also the food was actually good and not what I expected compared to other reviews

To begin, the entire experience from the moment upon arrival to leaving was entirely seamless. We were given a welcome drink and led to lunch as our room was prepared and by the time we were done everything was ready. The room was clean and they made sure to keep it that way by cleaning daily. My husband and I were visiting to celebrate our anniversary and we left feeling celebrated and taken care of. On the actual day of our anniversary, it’s as if it was communicated to the entire facility and they made sure to accommodate accordingly which made it feel even more special. We had also booked a spa service and as someone well versed in the industry (an esthetician myself) it was the best experience I’ve had. Very punctual with their service and the service from the staff was phenomenal. Everyone is super friendly and goes above and beyond!!!! My husband and I agreed it was the best massages we’ve ever had. The food was AMAZING. I was extremely confused to see mixed reviews about the food but I loved all the options especially Hunter Steakhouse. I saw that people experienced longer wait times but this was not my experience at all. There is a food truck and buffet if you’re looking to get faster food which was so nice! We were fortunate to be there while it was their Independence day as well and they made it such a fun celebration! As well as a buffet of their dishes that were delicious. Already planning to come back!!! Thank you :)

Great location with no hotel to the right and only Sandals to the left. Awesome pool party, a little quieter during the week but turns up Friday to Sunday. Entertainment is amazing. Find Timothy and you will have the best time. This guy has tons of rizz and will get you and the entire group up out of your seat. So fun! Our butler was Rowan. Such a fantastic person, he thinks ahead to planning dinner reservations and asks the questions you may not be thinking at the moment. He goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. We stayed in a DC presidential suite, room was made each day and refilled with all the stuff you want. At the end of it all, Rowan and Timothy made this resort shine.

Overall good experience. Best part was the Vibes team at the pool area and DJ. Kalique, she was amazing and created a lot of fun. Downside was the Haven restaurant. Consistency of food portions needs a lot of work. Rooms are quite small for 2 people. Bartender service was on point and they were very friendly. Good drinks.

Beautiful hotel with great staff. We checked in on time after 3:00 p.m. however it took over two hours to get our room. It is extremely hot, we had access to beverages and water but could not change out of our clothes to beach wear to cool off in the pool or sea. We got three pieces of chocolate for the room delay. If you ask me, it should have been a room upgrade. The food overall is great; however, Elements breakfast is horrible. Pancakes, and Waffles needs to be made by request instead of sitting out where the are hard and dried out. Oatmeal need to move to individuals packets and instant where you add hot water if needed. Best restaurants is Haven Garden and Insomnia. The food temperature needs to be warmer instead of luck warm. Plates are hot but food is cold as puppy nose. Vibe Team brings the energy and made our trip memorable. Shout out to Ms. Samuel's who's passionate for entertainment shines through. She was very engaging and interactive with the crowd quite a lot.

This resort exceeded our expectations and then some! What a wonderful place with amazing food and staff. From booking until departure we were treated amazing. Constantly cared for by the staff. The resort is luxury but not over the top cheesy if that makes sense. It has a laid back feel I can only describe as “casual luxury”. The food was fantastic, like some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Drinks were great. Tons of water sports activities, a great gift shop, great gym/fitness center, and even a tennis court. Beach was gorgeous! Rooms had plenty of space and a cozy feel. This place has it all.

5 is not a high enough rating. Incredible grounds and views, the staff were even more incredible. From Karen and the rest of the lobby staff, Anne Marie and the lovely ladies at the Reef, the welcoming, smiling faces of the Palm staff every morning to the amazing Onika and Shawna at the spa, everything was incredible. There was nothing requested we were denied. In fact the the lady tending to our rooms seemed disappointed when we said we didn't need our beds made - she was like a grandma away from home. When visiting the spa, as soon as we walked in Onika made you feel like she has known you forever. Her big bright smile and welcoming greeting instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed even before the treatment begins! The signature massage is such a head to toe treat and Shawna is a master at the techniques. I have never had a better massage... 50+ years of stress and tension was truly relieved for the first time ever. I was lucky enough to have Shawna also do my Rose & Aloe Sun Cooler Wrap before I left, and again was left feeling incredibly pampered, She even did a small braid so my hair wasn't to wild when I left. Our Monday morning was spend paddle boarding on boards brought right to the water for us and meditating while floating in the warm waters, opposed to reviewing spreadsheets. and reports! We spoke with many of the staff who all had been employed at the resort for some time and enjoy their jobs there. We learned that during the not so distant pandemic it was the employers that help their staff through some very challenging times. Pulling all of this together has put Blue Waters at the top of places we will return to when we need true relaxation and pampering. Thank you for operating such an exquisite spot and creating a team of such high caliber.

This is a very bad hotel!!! we were vacationing with a small child!! In our room the sewage system was constantly flowing, the plumbers came almost every day but they couldn’t do anything, there was water dripping from the ceiling in the room, there was damp mold and cockroaches when I spoke with the manager they couldn’t do anything for them, it’s normal only on the last day they offer to change the room !!! the staff in the hotel is not well-mannered, they constantly shout despite the fact that they see that a small child is sleeping or they can put a plate of food across the entire table, the waiters do not know how to serve properly, the children's room is always closed, they have a short working day or a day off, the playground looks like a construction site, there are stairs and electric wires sticking out! The game room is just like some kind of shed with unnecessary things! you can see carts scattered throughout the area!! the jacuzzi doesn't work, it's like we were told during the restoration!! we had an all-inclusive package but you will have to pay separately for plain water or sparkling water at $10 per bottle!! Two female managers don’t care when you tell them about some problem!!! This is the worst place we have ever been!!

We stayed at Blue Waters in April 2024 and it was fantastic - I would definitely recommend. We stayed in a family suit in turtle cottage. It’s essentially a little house with 4 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and private pool/balcony area. You also get access to the ‘private’ beach below - although public access is also allowed. The hotel has 2 pools, 2 beaches, 3 restaurants (main, beach cafe & posher sit down dining - you’ll need to book this one), games area, gym and tennis courts - everything you could possibly need. The food is great also, it’s mainly a la carte menu but some buffet options on particular bbq nights which are also fun. The bars are well stocked and cocktails in abundance - again, pretty much anything you want is available. The concierge service is a touch on the expensive side. They quoted some high numbers for bite hire etc, but if you shop about locally or online you can find a decent deal. There’s also some nice free day trips/activities you can participate in over the week too including rum tasting, fishing, yoga etc. In summary a great stay, you’re well looked after and very comfortable surroundings.

This is a beautiful resort with lovely staff and private beaches. The food in all the restaurants is absolutely delicious, very well impressed. They keep the place spotless clean. It's lovely to lay out on the beach and the staff take your drinks order and deliver to you. The ocean is warm and the pools are refreshing to dip into. Id recommend bringing a few US dollars for tipping although it's not expected of you, it's a nice way to say thank you to the staff for wonderful service. This place really offers a luxurious service. Highly recommended. Tip, bring earplugs for sleep, the crickets are a different level here!!

My wife and I just got back, and we had a lovely time at this Sandals resort. The staff was super friendly to us and always greeted us very courteous. The beach was awesome, and so were the pools. We never had any trouble making reservations for dinner in the restaurants that required them. The vendors at the beach were friendly and polite and easy to talk to if you treated them with a friendly smile. Overall, this was a awesome vacation for us that we would have no problems repeating.

Short drive from the airport to the resort. Overall, I loved the resort. The rooms are a little outdated and in need of updating, which is on the road map for Sandals in the near future. The overall service was awesome. Everyone was quite friendly and helpful. I feel the restaurant staff was a little less than attentive at most places. Pool activities were awesome, and the staff was a lot of fun. Pool bar needed a couple more servers as it was always busy, but they were great getting drinks out as fast as they could. The water was beautiful, and beaches were amazing. We did get bothered some by merchants since the beach was public, but they were not overly pushy. It was HOT. It's probably the hottest trip I've ever taken, so sunscreen is a must! I'm not a huge fan of the Antigua airport. We had to get there 3 hours before our flight, and it's not cooled very well. There are only 2 restaurants in the airport and they aren't great. I would definitely suggest taking a trip to Antigua. It was a great time!

Where is the customer experience at this resort??? We had our first stay with Sandals at The Grand in Saint Lucia, they set the bar high!!!! This is our third time staying with Sandals and at this resort, they do not care about your stay or your experience. We have one more trip already booked with Sandals, after that we are booking with another all inclusive resort They took one photo during our 7 day stay and were not advocating with us or any of the people we met while there to schedule another stay at one of their resorts. They just had no interest in the guests

Villa with private pool and hot tub was amazing. I dont want to go to a public pool ever again. Butler service was outstanding. Resort was beautiful and safe. Food was average and all inclusive meals was over-priced, especially if you do not drink alcohol.

I just returned from 5 days at this resort. The beaches are beautiful and Antigua is a gorgeous country, but I don't think I'll return to Sandals. This was my first time at a Sandals - I was there for a wedding, and that event was very nice, but I don't think Sandals is the resort for us. It's regularly 88 degrees Fahrenheit there, and it's incredibly difficult to get water at Sandals. There's a few small waters in your room, but otherwise you have to be seated at a restaurant to get water. For a place this warm (and with many drinking all day), it would be wise to have water fountains/ jugs of cold water available. I went up to the bar near reception at one point asking for water and the staff seemed annoyed. It took 10 minutes and asking 2 bartenders to give me a cup of water - the one jug of water they have at that bar was regularly empty. I would estimate 60% of the staff were very friendly, and 40% seemed to hate that you asked them for anything. This was really off-putting. I asked other guests about their experiences, as maybe I was the problem, and many other people felt similarly. Some staff really were rude. At one point, we went up to Barefoot restaurant around 11:15 AM and asked to be seated; we were told they weren't ready to serve yet, but had 2 tables already seated? Food - The restaurants we went to were just okay; the buffet always had flies buzzing around it. They state they have 11 restaurants on site, but calling some of these spots "restaurants" is a bit of a stretch - some of them are pretty basic, sit-down isn't available and they are not really for meals. My husband and I couldn't get into Soy/ Kimono unfortunately, as it was closed 2 of the 5 days we were there, and couldn't get reservations for the others. When we checked in, we were told reservations were encouraged but not required, but then that same afternoon, when I called to get reservations, they said Eleanor's and Soy/Kimono were booked 5 days out! There really seems a problem with this system. If we cannot book before we arrive, shorter stay guests don't have the opportunity to go to the better restaurants. Though my husband and I primarily ate just us, we were there with a large group and when we did try to do a group dinner, they can't really manage that either. Again, a frustration because some of the restaurants (like Mario's) don't take reservations but then they couldn't accommodate a group the night we wanted to do a group dinner (even though it seemed half the restaurant tables were empty). Lastly about food - I wish breakfast options opened before 7:30, especially since some of the activities (like diving) required us to be at the water sports area by 7:45/8 AM. There didn't seem to be any options for grab and go breakfast either. My last issue with Sandals was with security - we checked in on Wednesday, and our room wasn't ready. No problem, we went to sit on the beach until 3PM. At 3:15, we left the beach to head back to reception to check in. Security on the beach asked us for our room # but we didn't have one yet. The guard then questioned us about why we were using the facilities yet. The website even states that the whole resort is open to us as soon as we arrive and through when we leave, even if our room isn't ready for us. The guard was extremely rude, making it seem like we were breaking rules. The positives: The beach and pools always had plenty of chairs available. At the big pool bar, the servers there were quick and attentive even when there were lots of people. The rooms were cleaned well, but they didn't cool down to a level that was really comfortable for us. As newer divers, we enjoyed our scuba diving trips, especially the second day (Scuba Instructor Travis was great and very calm which was great for me) when the conditions were much calmer. We were able to eat at Eleanor's for breakfast one of the days and that was a good meal (though on the check-in info, it states Eleanor's is open daily for breakfast and it was closed for breakfast on Sunday which was a disappointment).

Again, what an amazing week spent with u all. I am going to start with Milton who is always smiling when he greets u at the doorsteps…he says, “the least amount of muscle is used when smiling!” To Smiling Dion who was always eager to help us. Shawnley(one of my favorites) checked up on us every time we were passing by and when we would have a question! Marlon at the Bar, thank you for introducing the local Rum. Juma, who would be there to help my Mom with the Golf Cart-thank you so much. Shannoy Roberts, who personally making sure we had the hammock at our suite and a bowl for the feet before entering our rooms, and also being there for my Mom with a golf cart, the whole team at the water sport; my boys had the best time! My boys enjoyed variety of water sports thanks to them. You were the best! Chef Kumar—-always went over and beyond for us. We had dietary restrictions and he really listened to us and took care of us during our stay. Michael from the restaurant was always trying his best to accommodate our party of 8 plus the baby! We didn’t have to wait much and always ended up with a table with a great view. Hilmi—she tries to be there everyday before her 6am shift, and works non stop with a beautiful smile..always greets whenever she sees me! Jody, you’re an event planning star, very genuine and personable.. we wish you all the very best as you close out the season. Looking forward to our next visit there. We truly fell in love with the place and all of you guys. Such genuine staff. Andrew Hedley, you and your staff made our week in Antigua a very memorable one. Thank you for your hospitality and taking care of all our needs.

Rooms were excellent, beautifully situated right next to the beach. Location very good, with beautifully kept gardens. The opportunities to hire a boat or go snorkeling were prohibitively expensive and totally unreasonable in price.The staff are lovely but communication at all levels is very hit and miss. Service we paid for would come one day but not the next. The Italian restaurant by the pool was really poor. I don't think the chef had any idea of what Italian food might look like.When I complained about my meal I was met with complete indifference. I think the management needs to get a grip and turn a potentially lovely resort into a great one.

The staff at the resort were fantastic. Jamol, Georgier were exceptional and really made my kids feel at home. The beach is magical. Everyone is kind. The kids club was engaging for my kids (3,5). There are sand toys available at the beach so need to bring them. Nice mix of adult and kids amenities, but not saturated in kids focused stuff where it’s overwhelming or in your face. I would come back. Love the vibe of the people at the resort and the whole island.

Beautiful Caribbean style cottages with a breathtaking sea view and constant gentle breeze. The host is kind and helpful. Bath toiletries and kitchen items are provided. If you're cooking, you only need to purchase food ingredients, as a variety of seasonings, olive oil, vinegar, tea, coffee, even paper towels are on hand. The host's attention to detail is phenomenal. Be prepared to walk up a steep driveway and several steps, but that's just the added benefit of exercise. A recommended stay!

Back again once again at the Cottages, I believe for our 5th visit to the beautiful island of Antigua. Always a consistent experience; a well-kept and -appointed, somewhat secluded spot. The beauty of the location is it's only minutes from the port area of St. John's, so you're not far from things you need. Car optional if you don't mind a bit of walking and/or using public transit. Galley Bay Beach was red-flagged every day this time, and there are no lounge chairs to use, so hint: bring a hammock! Marco takes great care of us time and time again.

Think Marco is planning on selling it to some big developer, so does not give a hoot about this place. Seriously, look elsewhere. Think the good reviews are all paid. My review is real.

It's literally an easy 5 minute walk to our 2nd favorite beach on Antigua. If you are looking for a five-star resort, then this is not your place. If you are seaking out a secluded place that is 15 minutes from St. Jonh's then tis is not to be missed!

We come to these cottages year after year. The beach is a 5 minute hike but I'd rather sit in my private tropical paradise anyway. Well appointed kitchen so we cook our own breakfasts and some dinners. We have stayed in them all. Spice this year. Propane bbq for grilling. Decent grocery store 10 minutes away so you don't have to drive in the hell of St. John's!

This was an amazing experience and the entire Hammock Cove team delivered a remarkably positive experience which directly contributed to the success of the vacation. Highly recommend!!

I have never done a review but this place made me want to leave one. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here for 7 days and loved every second of it. If you are wanting a quiet, relaxing, and romantic vacation you have to come here. It is obvious that the resort is gorgeous but I want to talk about the staff. The whole entire staff is amazing, in the 7 days here I left feeling like I’ve known them for years. When we first got to the resort we had an issue regarding the villas and the manager of the resort, Mrs Alex made sure that she did everything in her power to give us the honeymoon of our dreams. She genuinely cared if we had a great time. Troy, the manager of the lighthouse restaurant was outstanding. He was so fun but so professional at the same time, truly was fine dining. We would look forward to seeing Troy every night because he’s the man! The food that they make at this restaurant is the best food that my wife and I have ever had. You would never think an all inclusive resort would have true 5 star dining. Leon, our ambassador was the nicest, most respectful, attentive, and fun guy ever. REQUEST HIM. Tevon, the water sports attendant, is awesome. First day he taught me how to use the hobie cat sail boat and after a 20 minute lesson from him I was sailing around the cove all week by myself. He is awesome and truly wants to teach people new things that they might not have access too back home! The other water sports attendant, can’t remember his name but he was amazing too. Jayden, Chelsea, and Zachri who are 3 of the beach/pool servers were amazing and made sure we were always taken care of. They were so good to us and so hard working in the crazy heat. It is obvious that this resort is gorgeous and everything you dream of in a vacation. But I think the staff is what truly makes a place special and they did exactly that for us. We want to go back just to see all of them again! Tell all of them Collin & Bailie from Jacksonville said hi when you go!

My husband and I spent our Honeymoon at Hammock Cove (7 days). It was absolutly amazing! The staff was phenominal and so inviting! Everything about this resort was top tier and definitly worth the price! We can't wait to go back! If you are looking for seclution, comfort, beautiful views, amazing food, and overall a good time... This is the place!

Loved this resort !! My husband and I came here to celebrate our two year anniversary and we had the best time ! The only reason why I didn’t give this resort 5 stars is because I was expecting more hammocks around the property and I was hoping the pool was heated. We also had a slight hiccup with our gazebo dinner where it was missing a course and our chef wasn’t made aware of us not eating pork and was brought out a pork dish. The resort did offer a discount which was fine! Also we booked the boat tour, but the staff wasn’t made aware of us coming till we got there at 8:45 so they had to quickly make us lunch which also ended up having pork and we weren’t able to eat. Overall The beach is absolutely beautiful! The staff was 10/10! The light house restaurant was right across our villa and the food was Spectacular!! We were a 3 minute walk from devils bridge so that was amazing to see! The property so beautiful and well kept! There is also water sports available on the property!! Loved this resort ! And would return with the family! Oh our room also had the best bathroom!!! The shower was huge and they had a wonderful vanity so I could get ready. We also loved the game room and rum Tasting bar which had some great games to play after our evening was over! NOT TO MENTION THE SPA is to die for, Marilyn and Elizabeth gave me and my husband a massage one day, a wrap a massage a facial, a scrub, head massage the next, and a 90 Minute the following day !! To say the least we loved their expertise in massage skills!!

Paradise with great service and fabulous food. We had an issue with a cricket in our Aircon duct. The management team couldn't do enough to ensure got a good night's sleep and then their maintenance team arrived to fix the problem, which the duly did. Night 2 no cricket. Night 3 the cricket returns only this time even louder. Big thanks to Hunter who moved us to new residence which we are now in for the rest of our break. The good news no cricket in the Aircon. Excellent service, no fuss or drama from the resort, all they wanted was happy customers. Really impressed with all the staff here, would definitely be recommend holidaying here.

The Carribean is hard to top, but the cherry on the cake is always visiting this wonderful time-machine of a hotel, that somehow manages to make you feel instantly relaxed. I had the luxury of experiencing what a special place Curtain Bluff is. The location on a peninsula offers spectacular swimming in the always perfect temperature bay. The water sports were always ready for use, I simply asked and within minutes we were being pulled behind the boat tubing and water skiing. I did not get to go sailing or paddle boarding, or enjoy the other water sport options, but they were always available ready to use. I also enjoyed playing tennis daily on their 4 courts surrounded by lush greenery and the the bay. The meals and food they served was delicious with a variety of options for everyone I was traveling with. They had Vegetarian, gluten free and every day the chef changed the menus. I enjoyed the Sunday brunch when in addition to the breakfast menu they served favorite local island dishes. With this being an all inclusive resort, everything was available to us without the hassle of carrying around money or a purse or even a towel for the beach. This made the stay another level of incredible. One afternoon we chartered a catamaran to tour the island on and a snorkel at the 6 mi long reef. This was an additional cost, but the front desk arranged it and we boarded right on the beach at the resort. No bus or driving anywhere! Every employee who I met was incredible, any request from booking a catamaran to the IT guy getting me all setup was simple, fast & friendly. The service during this entire trip was top and truly added to our stay. The only thing I wish was that I had more time there to enjoy the Spa (I heard it was great!) and another game of boccie.

I recently stayed at Hodges Bay, and I can’t say enough about the experience. The rooms were stunningly beautiful, immaculately clean, and well air-conditioned, providing a perfect retreat. The food was outstanding, with a top-quality menu that brilliantly showcased local flavors, along with some Americanized options for those preferring familiar dishes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful—they clearly understand hospitality at its finest, making the resort feel expertly managed. A special mention goes to our server, Tango, who was an absolute treat! He knew how to work a crowd and brought an infectious vibe to every meal—definitely a highlight of our stay. The beach area was beautiful, with spectacular views that made for the most serene mornings and evenings. I spent a lot of time lounging by the main pool, but I also enjoyed the pool at the water’s edge, complete with a bar—a fantastic spot to relax. Hodges Bay is a true gem, and I’m already looking forward to hopefully returning next year. Highly recommended!

We are Miami based and have traveled all over the Caribbean to over 22 islands and 30 hotels over the past 10 years and have found a home with Hodges Bay. Finally, we have found a permanent fixture for an annual 3-4 day escape. The resort is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are clean and have ample space compared to most resorts. What I appreciate is the service level and attention to detail that we receive at Hodges Bay compared to other properties - you can just tell they are better managed. The food is great and we loved the breakfast to start each day. The ocean view room was stunning, waking up to that view each day makes it worth it. Prickly Pear is a must for a beach day escape.....and snorkeling is incredible with tons of aquatic life. Our friends use us to recommend places all over the Caribbean and Hodges Bay is our go to recommendation that has won over dozens of our close friends.

I like some of the nice functional areas of this resort, thx mainly pool looks newly rebuilt and is fabulous, the beach bar with the pier and infinity pool is amazing on the day and night. What let it down for us is the lack of consistency with the service, reception was always helpful and had smile, while the man who seats you and "greets" you in the main restaurant needs a lesson in customer service and attitude, you can see why the restaurant is mainly empty. We had one very poor breakfast and went elsewhere after that. He pays more attention to his dreadlocks. Annoying the elevator doesn't work and hasn't got quite a while hear, not great with suitcases however they do offer assistance to be fair. A mixed bag really but overall a nice place and would stay again.

The rooms are overpriced. The facility is showing its signs of wear. I couldn't sleep the first night because my room had a door to an adjoining room which was not soundproofed. I could literally hear a spoon drop. Even though they moved me to a better room the next night, I was given no credit for my awful night the first night I was there. When I ask them for some adjustment to the first night, they basically thought it was a joke. The personnel are nice there, and they do try to take care of you.
