A very complete resort with very friendly staff. We stayed 3 days in the water villa (511) and 4 days in the beach villa (428). The water villa experience is beautiful, but when there's a storm at night, the sea doesn't let you sleep. I really enjoyed the beach villa, and our room attendant was very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Amit, the best! Padrita at the bar was also impeccable, and Harot at the restaurant was always helpful.

Vacation in paradise. The area is beautiful and well maintained. The beaches have white sand and clear blue sea. All the employees were very nice and smiling. We always enjoyed our meals, especially the Indian cuisine, which was top. We stayed in a beach villa for 9 nights. It was our first experience in the Maldives, it is absolutely beautiful. The staff here are amazing and were so friendly and accommodating. The buffet food was delicious and so much variety. I would prefer that there were other restaurants included in an all Inclusive package but this is personal preference. Beach villa was lovely, our villa was cleaned by Amit and he was great, nothing was too much trouble. We also ate at the underwater restaurant and Copper Pot, both chargeable. The food at Copper pot was amazing and was a nice setting after a few days in the buffet. Staff are also attentive and professional. You’re really paying for the views on the underwater restaurant and whilst that was fun it was extremely expensive for the quality of the food, we also had an issue with my partners allergies, he is allergic to nuts and highlighted this is a few times, they said they would tailor his dishes, the dessert he was assured had no nuts by our original waitress but when we were chatting to another she questioned this and said that the nuts were already on the dessert mixture, this caused a bit of anxiety as he had already eaten it after being told it was nut free. No one came back to clarify this and put a bit of a dampening on the evening, I had to ask the waitress again to clarify as she didn’t come back to put us at ease. The weather a was also a bit hit or miss while were there which affected any excursions we wanted to book onto, we were booked onto 3 separate dolphin cruises due to the weather to be told at the departure time that it wasn’t happening, whilst this isn’t the staffs fault I do think there should be a better system for letting people know of trips are going ahead instead of having to wait all day for them. I also think they need to think of some indoor entertainment for when the weathers bad as it left us without anything to do at all apart from play pool really as excursions seemed to be mostly cancelled for our whole trip. It was a lovely holiday and lots of amazing staff, a nice intro to the Maldives but if you’re wanting quiet/ luxury then I would perhaps look elsewhere. This is just personal opinion!

We chose this paradise for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t be more satisfied. A modern hotel with great infrastructure and excellent conditions. We decided to split our stay between a Water Villa and a Beach Villa, allowing us to experience both worlds. When it comes to food, there’s a wide variety with great quality. Every day there’s entertainment at the hotel for those who enjoy a bit of a party. The best part, however, is the kindness and hospitality of everyone who works here. A special mention to our room attendant — Amit — such a lovely person, always making sure everything was perfect and checking if we needed anything. The best! We also went to the Only Blue Restaurant, which I highly recommend — the food is divine and the experience is truly unique.

Holiday feeling from the first minute on: warm welcome at a beautiful place surrounded by a fascinating reef. We inhabited a lovely villa at the beach with a private pool - accurate cultivated and always kept clean by the housekeeping, as well as the whole island and the public areas. Different possibilities to just relax or to participate in activities (water sports, kids club, spa, etc.). Three different restaurants with a variety of delicious dishes - mainly maledivian and Indian based, but also with influences from Asia, Europe and Africa. Every day fresh and always presented amazing. The staff take great care and is very interested to offer an excellent service. We have to mention especially Hussein from the waiter team and Rajat from the kitchen team who fulfilled every wish and were absolut kind to our little boy - he felt very special due to that. They are experienced experts in what they do, but also the whole team is. We recommend a lot the resort and would come back at any time. Thanks a lot for the time there from Germany.

I had a truly wonderful time during my stay everything was impressively well-organized and close to perfect. From the moment we landed, we were warmly welcomed by staff at the airport and transferred to the island with a complimentary 45-minute boat ride, which was a great way to start the trip. The island offers a great variety of dining options. The main buffet restaurant, Lime & Chili, served delicious meals throughout the day, and the snack bar, Bay Rouge, was perfect for enjoying unlimited cocktails and light snacks in a relaxing atmosphere. What made the experience even better was the level of service. The entire staff was attentive and professional, and I especially want to thank Arsham for his kindness and support throughout our stay. He always responded quickly and did his best to make sure we were comfortable. There are also several activities available on the island, such as jet skiing and electric skateboarding. While enjoyable, they were a bit overpriced, and it's good to know that taxes are added on top of the listed prices. On our check-out day, the staff continued to be thoughtful and welcoming — they even offered us a complimentary lunch before we left, which was a very nice touch and not something you see everywhere. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the experience. The cleanliness, comfort, food, and hospitality were all top-notch. I would definitely love to return in the future and highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay.

First of all, thanks to Frank, the hotel manager, for helping us when we had some issues before. But I want to share my honest opinion about the hotel itself. The hotel didn’t meet our expectations. The staff were polite and helpful, but the place was boring and not suitable for young couples. At night, there was only a singer or a DJ — nothing else to do. The food was bad, full of heavy Indian spices. Apart from pizza and burgers, nothing tasted good. The massage was poor, minibar drinks were always warm, and the free fishing activity was awful. The boat that took us to the airport smelled terrible, and the boys working there were wild — no communication at all. Many staff looked fake. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the island and wouldn’t recommend it to Turkish visitors.

We just arrived back home so this is fresh off the press. Short review ; if you can, do it. Picture perfect, awesome staff and great food and bev packages. The house reefs are really good and the water sport options are basically everything. Longer review ; we landed in Male late but were greeted at the airport and had a great skipper take us to the island / atoll in the dark at hyper speed in a large, fast modern boat. Check in was thorough but it was late so we didn’t get a full run down. The next morning we woke up in our room out over the water and instantly felt relaxed. We became more relaxed in the capable hands on Firey the barman who along with his mates, made sure we were always topped up with water or a drink to keep us ticking. In between there was some swimming, snorkeling under and around our room, or anywhere around the amazing atoll/island. The pool party was fun with a few organised games and we were blessed to have DJ Lenka/Elena who made a couple of oldies forget their age, and, along with the delightful Chris on a steel, bongo and drums gave our holiday an epic soundtrack. The sand is pure, the waters clean, and away from the rooms they are teeming with every variety of fish you could imagine. We saw every fish on the ID charts at the rock bar on our daily walk around the island from nemo to reef shark. Just perfect. The spa was a great inclusion too and relaxed and restored us, highly recommend the additional time and expense for some deep relaxation. The rocks bar for a sunset drink sounds so cliche, and it totally is, and it is totally stunning on the right evening with a cocktail in hand on the deck on a beanbag with a cooling breeze. I miss it already. Then there is the food. We are vegan, and while everyone offered to cook us additional foods, the standard variety at the courtyard was amazing and sous chef Sanjay was so attentive to us and everyone it made every standard meal a highlight. The pasta and pizza dude Tore was incredible. The speed and care, remembering people’s preferences, tailoring to your taste .. amazing. Then Just Wok and Just Grill, got to say with our diet I was worried about just grill, but they were amazing and I enjoyed the best grilled eggplant and tahini I’ve ever tasted. Just wok was always going to be an easier choice for us, and they did not disappoint with dishes and options across the menu. The Asian green soup and chilli silken tofu are etched into my taste memory. Are you still reading ? Sorry. I’m not post holiday glow, we just genuinely needed a break and to reset, and all the front of house teams, and back of house teams at OBLU select Sangeli deserve praise and delivered more than we expected every single day, thanks to the music and bars every single night, and all the way through to the beautiful housekeeping teams, every single sleep was serene. Thanks. ❤️

My husband and I went to Raaya by Atmosphere for our honeymoon and we had such a great time! I’ll break my review down into three aspects - Staff, Food, and activities. STAFF First up, the staff at Raaya were incredible! This is our first time in Maldives, so we don’t know how normal this is but everyone was so warm and friendly. Besides our Island Manager, Achala (who was very ready to help us with any questions and helped me stay on track with reminders on the things we booked), we also met many wonderful people, such as Mo, Mary, and Amir, who were from various restaurants/places in the island and were always engaging and ready to help or give a recommendation. Unfortunately, it is a big flaw of mine that I don’t remember names or the list would be longer! FOOD We also have nothing but good things to say about the food. Because we had 4 meals at speciality restaurants, one floating breakfast, and one candlelight dinner, we didn’t get sick of the main dining hall (Raaya Life). Breakfast was also a highlight of the day. I enjoyed the fresh juice bar very much because we could customise the juices, and my husband and I absolutely loved this nutella pastry they had. We had it almost every time it was available. It’s not a breakfast food but I also want to mention the fried risotto balls they had at the poolside – it’s a great blend of tomato sauce and cheese and I probably ordered it every time we went to the pool to snack or eat! ACTIVITIES As part of the Raaya plan, the sunset cruise, sunset fishing cruise, and the 45 minute spa were pre-booked for us. The sunset cruises were a great way to see the sunset and we found it very relaxing. When it came to the spa, we actually had three options we could choose from, so you don’t have to worry that you don’t like what’s on the menu. Apart from these, you can also book the daily snorkelling tour to the house reef – it’s a one hour snorkelling trip and it was great for us (I was totally new to snorkelling and found myself enjoying it a lot more than expected!). They do have paid diving and snorkelling tours too, as well as manta ray and dolphin tours, but we did not opt for those as our days were full enough. Every day, you can also head over to the activity center to assembly your dhoni boat, and I think there’s a dhoni boat race every other day. There is also a sports center where we played mini golf, but where there are plenty of other activities too, like petanque and tennis. We went there twice and it seemed pretty empty both times, which meant we didn’t have to queue or wait for anyone. OVERALL We had an amazing time and we would recommend Raaya by Atmosphere to anyone (especially first time visitors to Maldives like us) who would like a welcoming, all-inclusive resort that has plenty to do.

Absolutely breathtaking experience at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives! 🌴❤️ I celebrated my birthday here in August and it was truly unforgettable! 🎉 The split stay experience between the Beach Bungalow and Water Villa was pure luxury. 🌊 The rooms were stunning, with incredible views, utmost comfort, and equipped with all the latest amenities. 🌟 What truly made this trip special was the island itself - one of the longest in the Maldives! 🚴‍♂️ The cycling experience here is a must-do, with picturesque views and serene atmosphere. The dining experience was also top-notch, with amazing restaurants offering delicious food and breathtaking views. 🍴 The staff were incredibly friendly, well-trained, and always eager to help. 👌 But what stole the show was the vibrant colors of the island - a feast for the eyes! 🌈 If you're looking for a tropical paradise with luxury, adventure, and unforgettable memories, Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives is the perfect choice. We visited Atmosphere Kanifushi in October 2025 (shoulder off-season) at a cost of approx $600 per night for a water villa (not sunset). Thats almost twice the budget that we have paid on our 3 previous trips to the Maldives. Some aspects were undoutedly elevated in quality from our previous trips, although not to any hug significance that it changed our experience. Every resort gives a great welcome, amazing over-water experience, friendly "never say no" service and all that stuff that you come to expect after a few visits to the Maldives. You get all that at AK, and you can read about it in many reviews here, hence I'm going to highlight one thing that might differentiate your decision on whether to choose this resort, or not. The food! FOOD: Your AI includes the main buffet restaurant (Spice), Just Veg and Sunset for dining. I wont mention Lantern Bar or Ceylon Bliss because they rarely were open and didn't seem to serve anything more than snacks. Then you have the 'fine dining' options of Pier 6 and Tepanyaki Grill, co-located over the ocean, just adjacent to the water villas. So, you have a fair choice of dining, as with most other resorts. In my opinion, the food in general was of poor quality and variety, for the Maldives in general, and definitely for this budget, I'd expect much better. The 2 other resorts we have visited in the past offered far better food. The theme is pretty much Asian style food throughout, which is fair enough, we are in the Maldives, but we did tire of eating rice and 'curry' dishes for almost every meal. Yes, there are pizzas and burgers (nothing of great quality IMO), but the vast majority of food on offer is Asian. The breakfast buffer offers baked beans, potato (of some kind) and grilled tomatoes every day for those who prefer the English style. The salad bar is pitifully poor, I can't honestly imagine how it could be any worse! Same every day. My wife and I are vegan, and our choices were limited, we are accustomed to that. The buffet is very well labelled, as are the menus in the various restuarants (Sunset being the only exception), and thats a massive help. Most days we had some form of rice and curry (Dahl, maldivian curry or thai curry) for lunch and dinner. Every day we had beans and potatoes for breakfast, perhaps with fruit or salad. Some days, there was almost nothing vegan available on the buffet and we had to ask for help. The various chefs in each venue are more than happy to prepare something special of course, as on any Maldivian resort, but thats not ideal (IMO). In the case when the buffet was sparse, the chef prepared something basic and fast. Hardly the dining experience we expected on our $600 per night holiday in the Maldives. On a few occasions, we requested vegan options in advance (or were offered them), which again is pretty standard here, but ideally not necessary. In every case, the 'special' options were poor. Much hype is made of "Fabrizio" the chef working his magic in Just Veg, and the presentation of the food is fitting for an art class, but the taste and variety still very much lacking. Vegan mains are maldivian curry, thai green curry or a 3rd dish which I cant recall, as we did not find tempting. Where is the magic in that? The food is the reason for my 4 star review.

The all-inclusive plan is incredibly generous: gourmet meals, premium drinks, daily activities, and even spa treatments are all seamlessly included. I’ll be dreaming of this place until I return.

It's with regret that we left out "Hut" this morning.We spent an amazing time on the atoll.Compared to our previous experience at the Maldives, on a different resort, Oblu Select Lobigili was very quiet and private, even if it was almost fully booked - and that's what we appreciated the most.Our accommodation was stunning and nicely decorated.Breakfasts, lunches and dinners were an attraction in themselves and we felt very pampered by the service provided.The resort also has the largest underwater restaurant in the Maldives archipelago, where we had dinner while a baby shark passed us by. Oblu Logibili is a perfect choice for couples that need a break from their routine.Thank you for giving us such special memories.

Such a beautiful island! Very peaceful and relaxing. Our service was incredible and our hostess, Alpi, was very helpful. We stayed in the sun nest water pool villa, which was beautiful and had such an amazing view of the ocean. We went during rainy season, so we didn’t get a ton of use out of the pool and wish it could have been heated during the windy days for more use. Most of the food menus were good and had plenty of options. The main bar was very laidback, although did not have many activities for later at night so we went to the other sister island to use our inclusive plan for the pool, bar and more upbeat nighttime activities a few days. The island was small, but this was helpful when walking between villas and dining and we were offered buggy rides often! We did a few included activities for our honeymoon, including the amazing spa treatments and snorkeling trip (even great to do off our balcony!).They had great touches such as romantic dinners, floating breakfasts and decorating the bed during turn down services. Overall, would very much recommend this island and stay for a romantic and relaxing trip. It was perfect for our honeymoon.

My wife and I spent 8 days at this resort, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The island is beautifully maintained and designed to offer maximum privacy, making it ideal for a romantic getaway. It truly feels like you’re the only guests there no lines, no waiting, no noise. It’s the perfect place for a completely relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and equipped with every comfort. Cleanliness is impeccable: twice a day, our housekeeper Khet came by with unmatched discretion and kindness. She always fulfilled our requests and gave us total flexibility with cleaning times. Her creative towel and bed decorations added a truly special touch every day.

I cannot complain about anything. Everything was perfect. The hotel was entirely clean. The rooms are cleaned twice per day. Also the experiences, daily activities are so good and enough. We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. I think this hotel is perfect for the honeymoon couples. The last but not least the food it was basically perfect. You feel like you are in the fine dining restaurant.

Best honeymoon ever! Staff cannot do enough for you! Food is fantastic! Facilities are great! Snorkeling is brilliant, some amazing fish and black tipped reef sharks. Evening entertainment is lacking but we didn't come for that! We loved that we had a point of contact for the whole trip via WhatsApp, Meryham was amazing and could sort anything out for us! Also it was very very nice being picked up in a golf buggy and driven to restaurants when the weather was too warm. A must visit and only 20 mins from Male on speedboat.

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but our experience at Ozen was so awful that I feel obligated to warn others. We stayed at Ozen for one night only after our flight was unexpectedly canceled — and I wish we hadn’t. This resort ruined the end of what was otherwise a beautiful vacation in the Maldives. Let’s start with the food — it was disgusting. The buffet was full of stale, old-tasting dishes. Even basic items like cereal were stale and croissants were so hard they could literally break a tooth. To make matters worse, we found bugs and ANTS in the food as shown in the pictures. I even have a video of ants walking around inside a cake and a photo of bugs crawling on buffet items. Completely unacceptable for any resort, let alone one that charges these insane prices and supposedly a luxurious one. As a pregnant woman, this was horrifying. I was extra cautious and stuck to what I assumed were the “safe” options — but even those felt risky. Our overwater villa wasn’t much better. The pool was dirty, and shockingly, it had spikes at the bottom that could’ve easily caused injury. The room itself felt outdated and poorly maintained, nowhere near what the pictures or description promised. Service was equally poor. We called multiple times asking for just ice, and it would take over an hour to arrive — every time. When we complained about everything to the manager, all they did was offer a meal as compensation. No refund, no accountability, and no sense of urgency to fix the problems. It felt like they just didn’t care. For the ridiculous price per night, the quality and service were an absolute joke. This place markets itself as a 5-star luxury resort, but in reality, it’s more like a poorly run 2-star hotel with a pretty view. What makes this worse is that we had just come from Conrad and Hilton Amingiri, which charged around the same price per night — and gave us true 5-star luxury with great food, service, and facilities. Ozen charges the same but gives you a low-end, chaotic, and unsafe experience — even while advertising itself as a premium all-inclusive resort. It’s a scam. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. We left feeling ripped off, disappointed, and honestly just grossed out. Avoid this place if you value your health, comfort, and money. It completely ruined the final memory of our trip. Never again. UPDATE: Following my initial review, I was contacted directly by the General Manager of OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, Ms. Elisabeth Alleyne. She had just returned to the island and was not present during our stay. She reached out with a very sincere and thoughtful message, personally acknowledging our experience, apologizing for the issues we faced, and confirming that a full refund for our one-night stay had been processed. I believe it’s only fair not to leave just the initial feedback, but to also update others on how the resort responded. While our actual stay was disappointing and fell far short of expectations—especially given the safety, food, and cleanliness concerns—I appreciate the level of accountability and care shown afterward. Ms. Alleyne took ownership of the situation and assured us that corrective actions were already being taken to address the problems we experienced. I hope future guests won’t face the same problems we did. Her response helped ease some of the frustration we felt. I respect that management made the effort to take responsibility and resolve things professionally.

Room: We stayed at water villa with pool which was well designed to allow you to see ocean from everywhere in the villa from bathtub, shower room and even toilet. Mini bar was refilled every day and filtered water was provided too. I found the stairs to the sea is a bit dangerous as it was too steep and rusty. Not much coral in front of the villa, but managed to see few small fish and stingrays. Service: From start to finish, everyone was very welcoming and call you by name and greet you whenever they see you in the resort. Butler will help you to arrange any requests you may have. F&B: Considering it’s all inclusive resort, food options are on the wider side especially if you stay longer than 4 days, basically you get to experience all the restaurants at least once during the stay. Quality wise, the resort we stayed after (non AI) was a lot better. For example, Bahn Mi was far from the Vietnamese Bahn Mi that we know and some of the ice cream had strong artificial taste, doneness of the steak are hit or miss (I maybe a little picky as I have F&B background). However considering it is AI, I guess it is still acceptable yet there is definitely a room for improvement in this area perhaps by focusing more in quality over quantity. Activities: There are some free daily tours available in AI, such as daylight cruise(you may see dolphins if lucky), snorkeling tour etc. They are only about an hour so if you are not so keen to sign up for chargeable and longer tour, yet still want to experience Maldives activity casually, it is a great option.

We have just returned from 11 nights at this stunning resort. We stayed in a sunrise side, earth villa which did not disappoint. It was spacious, luxurious and the outside bath and shower were huge and great - something we'd not experienced before. The mini bar was re-stocked daily and we became partial to a mid-morning glass of pink champagne on our sunbeds. Aswell as a large variety of drinks, the mini bar contained chocolate, crisps and nuts. The large dressing room behind the main bedroom had plenty of storage for clothes and shoes. Extremely comfortable, super king size bed. Great to have air conditioning. Our room was serviced daily to a very high standard by Salauddin, and our butler, Ayush, arranged all our dinner, spa and excursion bookings for us. He responded very quickly to any Whatsapp messages we sent him. Butlers will pick you up in a golf buggy and take you to wherever you want to go on the island, however, we did not use this service as nowhere was very far away to walk to at all. All restaurants were amazing!! Chefs were very accomodating and would cook whatever we asked for. We enjoyed lunches and evening drinks at Joie de Vivre most days, and it was also great chatting to the staff in there. Every member of staff we encountered was happy, asked how our day was going and whether there was anything more they could do for us. The complimentary spa treatments (I think there were 5 treatments to choose from) were amazing. The beach was incredible and we came across sharks, sting rays and many beautiful fish whilst snorkelling a few metres out from our villa. Always plenty of free sun beds and towels by the pool area and at Hondu Bay. Really appreciated that the island was not over crowded with too many guests - sometimes it felt like we were the only people on the island! The boat transfers to and from the airport were very efficient. Ozen staff took us and our cases right up to the check in desk. Can't recommend this resort highly enough and really hope we have the opportunity to return someday. Thanks to everyone there for making our holiday so special.

At the beginning, we were welcomed at the airport lounge, where we waited for about 30 minutes. The lounge offered all kinds of drinks, completed our check-in, and transferred our luggage to the boat. The boat was clean, with excellent air conditioning, and the trip took around 30 minutes. We were greeted in the traditional and beautiful Maldivian way, with coconut drinks and a warm welcome with flowers. Our butler, Obi, was very responsive, always punctual, and prepared a customized schedule for us. He offered to adjust it as needed and gave us a tour of the island. We stayed in the villa with a slide, without the additional upper room. The villa was spacious, bright, and beautiful, with a comfortable bed, amazing outdoor seating, and direct access to the sea, which was a lot of fun. All needed gear was available — we got our snorkeling set from Obi. Housekeeping cleaned the villa twice daily, and drinks and ice buckets were provided upon request. ⸻ Restaurants: For breakfast, there were two restaurants (to my knowledge), both delicious — International and Arabic. Personally, I preferred the International one: it was spacious, allowed you to order anything, and had an indoor air-conditioned area. Lunch was served at the same two places. Dinner experiences: • Arabic: 4/5 • Indian: 4/5 • European: 4/5 • Asian: 3/5 All were excellent overall, even the Asian one, though I’m not a fan of seafood, which may explain my lower rating. ⸻ Activities: We tried snorkeling and kayaking, which were part of the package. The Jet Ski activity was a bit expensive — $267 for 30 minutes. In general, activity pricing was exaggerated, but that seems to be the norm across islands. ⸻ Shops: The shops on the island were nice and varied, though some products were overpriced. ⸻ Areas for Improvement: • Renovating the indoor pool in the villa • The villa’s orientation didn’t offer ideal views for sunrise or sunset • The checkout lounge while waiting for the boat was small and slightly gloomy ⸻ Final Ratings: • Restaurants & Food: 4.5 / 5 • Cleanliness: 4.5 / 5 • Beach & Sea: 4.5 / 5 • Pool: 2.5 / 5 • Staff: 5 / 5 • Overall Experience: 4 / 5

We are visiting the Maldives for the first time, and a lot of time an effort goes into researching which island and resort to pick. I chose to look at Travel & Leisure Awards for Asia 2024. Also we looked at villas that offered slides into the ocean, which narrows the selection a bit. We chose Ozen Reserve Bolifushi because of its water villas. I am writing this review while still being on the island, because we are absolutely blown away. For the life of me I do not understand how Ozen Reserve Bolifushi is not in the top 10 list of the best resorts in the Maldives or Top 10 list of the best family resorts in the Maldives. Our first destination was a top 10 property and Ozen is 20x better!! It all starts at the airport where you guided by friendly people to their lounge in the airport, you are then boarded on their luxury catamaran for a 35min trip guided by great staff telling you along the way what you are seeing. When you arrive on the jetty you receive a very warm welcome by the staff, and this is when you meet your Hiyani. You Hiyani is described as being your shadow, and trust me he is exactly that. Moosa was our Hiyani, and that man was absolutely incredible!! He made our stay so enjoyable and pleasant, I can not express how grateful we are for his work. We even had a slight medical situation which was attended to in the space of 15min! Moosa was/is fantastic but I'm pretty sure the other Hiyanis are as well because all staff were incredible, doing everything they can to make your stay a memorable one. This resort is where memories for a lifetime is created. Som ran Vista flawlessly, along with the staff. Leroy the resort manager is always about greeting everyone, making sure all guests feel at home. Nancy made sure our dinner at Origine was amazing with her humor and service, highly recommend btw. I forget the names of the others, for that please excuse me. But the staff at the kids club were amazing, the chef and server at our dinner and movie were just as amazing as well. This resort is fantastic for families. We stayed at the 2 bedroom Reserve Over Water Villas, and the villa was/is beautiful. It was kept prestine by the staff. It's one of those you have to see it or experience it to know what I'm talking about. You are not going to bore yourself here, if you are one of those that can't sit still and need activities. A wealth of choices here to choose from, including a mini submarine. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this resort, and I am usually picky. If they had a loyalty programme I would sign up right away, because I would like to try their Earth pool Reserve villas and I would request Moosa as my Hiyani when we return. My tips, pick the Reserve Villas if you can, if you choose the 2 bedroom overwater reserve villas with slide pick 801 for uninterrupted views. Head over to Makana Beach on the resort for the feeling of total seclusion. Thank you Ozen Reserve Bolifushi for creating memories for a lifetime and see you again soon. UPDATE: The amazing service continues upon arrival in the airport as staff is there to greet you, and help you check in. Zemeel was fantastic, in helping us on our way.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a wonderful week at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi. It was our first visit – but certainly not our last. This hotel and island truly impress with outstanding service, luxurious accommodations, a wide range of activities, and exceptional quality. The extraordinary experience doesn’t begin upon arrival at the island, but already at Malé Airport. Right after landing, we were warmly welcomed by friendly hotel staff who took care of our luggage and guided us to a private, air-conditioned lounge where drinks and snacks were served. They handled everything, including the necessary paperwork. Shortly afterward, we boarded a spacious and luxurious yacht. The 30-minute transfer to Bolifushi Island was already relaxing, with the staff ensuring we could begin our vacation stress-free. Upon arrival at Bolifushi, we were welcomed with live music, flowers, and fresh coconut drinks. We were then taken to our villa and introduced to our personal butler, who provided all the necessary information – including his mobile number for direct contact. Our butler, Asfar, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. He kept us updated with daily activities, kids club schedules, and answered every question we had. Each day, he checked in briefly to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. His professionalism and dedication were truly commendable. We stayed in a beach villa on the south side of the island. The villa was spacious, featuring a large bathroom, a private pool, and direct access to our own stretch of beach. The way the villas are designed ensures complete privacy. We especially recommend the south side of the island because the house reef is nearby – perfect for snorkeling. Every day we discovered stunning corals and colorful fish. A highlight was spotting a blacktip reef shark and a stingray. It felt like entering a different world each time. Of course, the entire island is beautiful. Each family member receives a bicycle with a personalized license plate – a charming touch! You can easily explore the island this way, whether heading to the gym, kids club, or your favorite restaurant. At the main pool, you’re served the "drink of the day," and lunchtime offers BBQ or delicious finger food. The pool area has plenty of cabanas, so there’s no need to rush out early to reserve a spot. The international restaurant next to the pool offers outstanding cuisine that leaves no wishes unfulfilled. We especially appreciated the clear labeling of all ingredients – one family member has a severe nut allergy, so this attention to detail gave us great confidence. The kitchen staff even offered to prepare special nut-free dishes, including fresh donuts made daily. Dining right on the beach, with breathtaking views, made every meal special. (Watch out – the resident heron might try to "borrow" a bite of your food in exchange for a photo op!) In addition to the wide selection of restaurants – including international, Asian, Indian, Arabian, and French cuisine – there are many activities available: snorkeling, the spa, the kids club, water aerobics, and more. The fitness center is well-equipped and beautifully located, surrounded by water and beaches, allowing you to work out while watching the sunrise and schools of fish. If anything, we would love to see more equipment for bodyweight exercises, aerobics, or stretching. Currently, the focus is more on weight and cardio training. To sum it all up: this was our best vacation ever. Our expectations were high, but the staff at OZEN Reserve Bolifushi exceeded them in every way. We will cherish the thousands of photos and the wonderful memories for a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend OZEN Reserve Bolifushi – and would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Asfar (our butler) and Winston (gym instructor) for making this trip truly unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to this incredible place.
