I am really impressed. It was an amazing vacation! We stayed in one of the water villas, which, in my opinion, was the best choice because water villas have an amazing view and no mosquitos.
Our room was cleaned twice a day, and they were really fast. Every time we left the room for 30-60 minutes, we would come back to find it already cleaned.
Everyone in the hotel was friendly, and the staff greeted us every time. That’s really cool!
I really liked the food at Raaya Life, the buffet restaurant. The fresh juices and fruit selection were great! The Arabic restaurant was okay, but the food could be slightly improved.

My husband and I stayed at Raaya for our honeymoon and it was an incredible experience, despite it raining every day. This was our first time in the Maldives and we are blown away not only by the nature, but by the hospitality of the staff here. Everyone is so kind and so friendly. The staff love teaching you about local culture and cuisine if you ask them which is always so good to learn. They go above and beyond in every way to make sure your stay is nothing short of perfect.
Dining options have been great, the breakfast buffet especially is fantastic. I love that they have different cuisines at all mealtimes. The resort has three restaurants in addition to the all-day buffet that all offer good dining options and enough variety to not get bored.
Excursions and water sports are available every day and are so much fun, with highly skilled staff to guide you. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins and a manta ray on our jet ski trips!
The spa is so serene, and offers private suites for couples massages. The resort also had daily activities that are a real value-add such as yoga, sound meditation, mangrove walk, etc.
Housekeeping team is fantastic and quick to address any needs.
All in all, I would highly recommend Raaya, largely because of how incredible the staff here are.

The island is truly beautiful, with lots of greenery. All the villas are set up next to the beach, which is always beautifully maintained and clean.
Unfortunately, our experience with transportation to and from the island was a big disappointment!
When we landed on the island of Male, our luggage did not fly with us to the smaller island and we waited for it for several hours.
The departure did not go according to plan either. The departure is planned for 2:30 PM, but the plane is not there. There is no information about what is happening. When we asked what is happening, we received no answer. So we waited until 5 PM without any information about the flight being canceled and without refreshments.
I am aware of the fact that pilots depend on the weather and the staff on the information received, but the manner is also important. A kind word and explanation of what is happening would have completely changed the experience.
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful destinations!
But if you get sick, there may be no doctor on the island and you'll be waiting for the next one to arrive!
There are not enough bikes, sometimes only one shuttle runs, mangroves closed,
the staff is not fully trained, so there is definitely room for improvement.

This is our fifth resort stay in the Maldives and hands down my favourite, even in comparison to higher end destinations. This island is surrounded by beautiful turquoise water that is very swimmable from anywhere and offers a great variety of restaurants, activities and facilities for all ages. A fantastic and thorough Maldives experience that will not disappoint!

**My Maldives Getaway at Raaya Hotel**
I recently had an amazing vacation at the Raaya Hotel in the Maldives. The beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters were breathtaking. The hotel was luxurious, with spacious rooms offering stunning ocean views. The food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood. I enjoyed a variety of activities, including snorkeling and a sunset cruise. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay even more special. Overall, it was a perfect and unforgettable getaway.
