Avra beach resort is an excellent hotel. Staff are all brilliant and so friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are always very nice and you can get food all day long with plenty of choice even from the snack bar. I've been coming here since 2020 having come twice last year and I've booked again for this year. I've never found anything to complain about and regularly praise the staff for their hard work. I highly recommend a stay here.

Avra beach hotel provides really good value, great location, right on the beach and not too far from old town. The hotel was full but we still found there is enough room for everyone. The food was of good quality and plenty to choose from. All members of staff were friendly. The rooms and communal areas were clean and well maintained. There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Spartans Kostas the Food and Beverage manger can be spotted everyday as he effectively manages a very busy restaurant. Avra is located close to Diagoros Airport about 20 minutes on taxi and its fixed price €21 (not the one provided by the hotel). On arrival at the airport we just took a taxi (plenty at any given point in time, we arrived quite late after 10pm) as we stepped out. Bus stop is right outside the hotel and costs €2.50 to the airport. You can take a bus to old town which costs about €3 if ticket bought on the bus or cheaper if purchased from a local shop. Also recommend visiting Symi island and Lindos. We did not use the ones from the hotel as I think there are better options online that provide better service and more value for money. I would definitely recommend Avra Beach Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, family friendly, all inclusive Greek holiday.

Some of the staff was great here, the place was very well kept, clean. I loved that they have their own beach and very comfy sunbeds. The sea was quite warm. The kids club had a few different activities on for the kids to choose from, the staff was helpful .There was snacks available all day and night and the whole inclusive drinks were great. The soft drinks were makes and not just cheap and tasteless. Some of the cleaning staff were great and very helpful. There was a great variety of main meals and even snacks at the snack bar had a wide choice, Never seen so much anywhere else before. The room we got was possible one of the older ones non the less it was clean and tidy. Also there was a water dispenser available at all times. All in all I would definitely recommend this place and I would go back but maybe try a sea view room to top off the holiday 😉. Only thing that I can possibly mention is evertime i went to the reception the staff was always talking amongst themselves whilst you were getting served and since I don't speak any Greek and they spoke English I found this a bit rude. This resort is about 15 minutes in a taxi from the Airport, also there are shops close by , restaurants and a chemist close by. All in all I feel this resort should be at least 5 stars compared to a lot of the other resorts.

Lovely hotel, fantastic food, great location, 15mins from airport, 10mins into Old & New Town, the hotel run a mini bus every half hour into the old ; new town, 7 euros return, excellent cocktails, really nice pool , big lounges, straight on beach front, ⛱️ room service everyday, clean towels, beach towels, food amazing, entertainment team lovely, staff lovely, a must visit 😀

We booked on a last minute all inclusive holiday at the end of October. It was half term school holidays so busy with families. We were a couple so not ideal for us. The hotel put on a comprehensive programme for children including animation activities in the afternoon and a great Halloween display and food. Food was available all day till midnight. It was a very varied and comprehensive buffet. Not top quality in my opinion but good enough and varied enough to suit all tastes. Drinks available all day. Cocktails and spirits were unbranded unless you paid so not the best but ok. The hotel was right on the pebble beach with plenty of sunbeds - but you didn't get the comfortable ones unless you put your towel on by 8pm. This wasn't meant to be allowed but people were doing it. Our room was meant to have sea view but it was partial, over the tennis court and other building - the sea was to the left. The bus to Rhodes town stopped right outside and the hotel also offered a shuttle. Full credit to all the staff, from cleaners to waiters to reception staff - they were happy and helpful. In summary, a great base and good value for money.
