Some of the staff was great here, the place was very well kept, clean. I loved that they have their own beach and very comfy sunbeds. The sea was quite warm. The kids club had a few different activities on for the kids to choose from, the staff was helpful .There was snacks available all day and night and the whole inclusive drinks were great. The soft drinks were makes and not just cheap and tasteless. Some of the cleaning staff were great and very helpful. There was a great variety of main meals and even snacks at the snack bar had a wide choice, Never seen so much anywhere else before. The room we got was possible one of the older ones non the less it was clean and tidy. Also there was a water dispenser available at all times. All in all I would definitely recommend this place and I would go back but maybe try a sea view room to top off the holiday 😉. Only thing that I can possibly mention is evertime i went to the reception the staff was always talking amongst themselves whilst you were getting served and since I don't speak any Greek and they spoke English I found this a bit rude. This resort is about 15 minutes in a taxi from the Airport, also there are shops close by , restaurants and a chemist close by. All in all I feel this resort should be at least 5 stars compared to a lot of the other resorts.

We booked on a last minute all inclusive holiday at the end of October. It was half term school holidays so busy with families. We were a couple so not ideal for us. The hotel put on a comprehensive programme for children including animation activities in the afternoon and a great Halloween display and food. Food was available all day till midnight. It was a very varied and comprehensive buffet. Not top quality in my opinion but good enough and varied enough to suit all tastes. Drinks available all day. Cocktails and spirits were unbranded unless you paid so not the best but ok. The hotel was right on the pebble beach with plenty of sunbeds - but you didn't get the comfortable ones unless you put your towel on by 8pm. This wasn't meant to be allowed but people were doing it. Our room was meant to have sea view but it was partial, over the tennis court and other building - the sea was to the left. The bus to Rhodes town stopped right outside and the hotel also offered a shuttle. Full credit to all the staff, from cleaners to waiters to reception staff - they were happy and helpful. In summary, a great base and good value for money.

We went to Avra Beach Resort end June, not knowing where to go so based on reviews we made our choice. All I can say is that we never had any regrets. Is a kind of resort which you might not choose by the looks of it. Is rated at 4 stars. If you have the chance to get an old room you will give more like 3 stars, but at the end you will feel like 5 stars treatment. Very friendly staff, always with a smile on their faces, not showing that they are tired making us feel like kings. The drinks are a bit too sweet for my taste but you can make your own recipes for cocktails. I recommend the resort any time. Is one of the best places in Greece to stay and ENJOY. Almost forgot: is a rule in the hotel that one guy is walking around the beach and remove all the towels left to keep the chaise longues occupied (around 8:00). VERY GOOD !

Friendly and helpful staff Kept clean and tidy throughout the day. Good choice of food throughout the day. Restaurant cleaned and tided regularly and never had to wait to be seated. Nicely located right next to a bus stop which is a 15 mins bus ride to Rhodes Old Town. If you don't want to take local transport, the hotel have a shuttle that leaves regularly. Would stay here again!

We had the best 11 days at Avra Beach! We stayed in a STANDARD family room, and we could not fault it. Modern bathroom with a lovely walk in shower, split level room which although a little dated compared to the superior rooms, was still spacious and clean. Full sized beds in the kids bit which you don't always get in some hotels. We had a lovely view of the gardens which was exactly as we expected. Everything about the Allinclusive here is fabulous. They theme the restaurant every night to make sure there's something different each night. The Greek/Italian restaurant is amazing, all the food is so fresh. The snack bar is open until midnight which is fabulous for the kids. The staff here are what really makes this hotel, they go above and beyond to make sure all guests are happy!! Loved our holiday at Avra Beach and hope to come back soon.
