The rooms at the hotel could be a bit better and we had a few days where we didn't have hot water for showering. However. The staff is amazing. They treat you so well and go above and beyond. Notably, Harmony and Ms. Helena are gems and treat guest so well. We will definitely be back to visit.

We enjoyed our week at Rodney Bay Beach Resort and Spa in early December so very much, we can't wait to return! Aside from the most fabulous location right on the beach, the resort felt wonderfully calm and relaxing and the staff were just so friendly and accommodating. It's not a big corporate chain and it feels so welcoming to all: couples, groups of friends, families and solo travellers. Special mentions for Crystal and Gail on front desk who were exceptionally kind and Ronald, the absolute star of the beach, always on the top of his game. The place never felt too noisy, crowded or uniform (no rows of sun loungers, but freedom to choose) and the watersports offerings were a great bonus. We look forward to enjoying more delicious cocktails and trying the spa on our next visit!

This is NOT a place for those that want an all-inclusive experience. While they offer that and will charge you a lot of money for the all-inclusive package, you do NOT want to buy it. This resort has many different guests - some day pass people from cruise ships, some from the sister resorts, some standard reservations. This means it is NOT all-inclusive guests only. The consequence of this is that the staff does not like the inclusive guest as it means "no tips" to them. The service in this resort is deplorable, especially in the restaurant. They will seat you, but then you will have to get your own water, coffee, drinks and then wait hours upon hours for food. We often waited for 2-3 hours for a meal, and that is not how I want to spend my vacation --- sitting in a restaurant, frustrated. Also, there is only ONE restaurant, so if you are all-inclusive, you are stuck with one terrible option and nothing else.
The infrastructure of this resort is aging and starting to fall apart. The pool is GROSS and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. There are limited things to do, especially if you have children under 4. I never had a hot shower the entire week, only cold showers and water ran out at the property twice. There are no beach towels if you wait until later in the day to get one. The chairs on the beach are falling apart. It's just on a good experience if you have high hopes for a nice, all-inclusive resort.
There are a few positives:
Housekeeping: Room was clean
Spa: Really great staff that work in the spa, but limited availability because the cruise ship day pass guests book up everything
Water Park: Fun activity for older kids
Location: 1.5 hours from airport, but close to city center and many restaurants
But I will never return to this resort and will never recommend it.

This resort is in the north side of the island, which is pretty far from all the activities, besides the Friday night street party
however the walk towards the beach was amazing. The lack of communication between staff and guest needs much work.
Apparently, there’s an orientation that happens that I didn’t find out until the second night of stay that they do to tell you the amenities of the hotel .

Our stay at this hotel in St. Lucia was simply fantastic! We booked a king suite with a pool view, complete with a kitchen and living room, making it feel like a cozy home away from home. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and attentive. The location is great—just a short walk to the hotel’s private beach area, where chairs and umbrellas are set up and ready for guests. Room cleaning and fresh towels are provided daily, keeping everything fresh. They also have a waterpark that kids, and adults, can enjoy! Plus, there are several nearby restaurants to indulge in, and it’s less than 10 minutes from a grocery store and other amenities, which was super convenient. Don’t miss the bar’s twice-a-day happy hour (buy 1, get 1 free). Though this hotel is about a 1.5-hour drive from Hewanorra International Airport, the comfort and amenities made it well worth it. Highly recommend!
