I recently stayed at this hotel in Corfu and while there were some fantastic aspects, a few key issues left me disappointed. On the positive side, the location is ideal – close to many attractions, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the sea each morning was unforgettable. The staff were also extremely friendly and always willing to help, which added a welcoming touch to the stay. However, several things did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. There were no irons in the rooms, which is a basic amenity for most travelers. Drinks were served in plastic cups – not only did this feel cheap, but it also raised concerns from an environmental perspective. One of the more serious issues was the lack of toilet facilities at the upper pool bar. This is not only inconvenient but also raises concerns about hygiene standards, especially in a space where food and drinks are being served. Additionally, guests are charged for pool towels, and sun beds on the beach cost €15 per day – a fee that feels excessive and inappropriate for a hotel of this rating. Overall, while the hotel’s location and staff were excellent, the lack of key amenities and unexpected extra charges significantly detracted from the experience. With some improvements, particularly around facilities and guest comfort, it could live up to its potential.

I won't be original, I won't say anything that has already been said. Check in from 15:00, for each day of stay per room a fee of 10 € is charged, payable in cash. The reception and some rooms with a sea view are located near the beach and probably the fewest people will complain if they are placed there. There are two blocks - block A and block B. And that's where the houses on the hills are. This is for people who like to walk in the mountains, for others - make sure you are in a good physical condition to go down to the main restaurant and climb back up, at least 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner). We were placed in a house with room 205 (block A). There is a bar with local alcohol and soft drinks, instant coffee and tea, a swimming pool with sun loungers (they are not washed or disinfected so they smell a bit unpleasant), there is no lifeguard by the pool, there are also no toilets - if you need to, you have to go to your room. Between meals, only mini sandwiches made by the barman and cake are available. Mostly no signal and internet, very weak wi-fi. There was no TV in our room, the air conditioning was broken for the first two days (it could not be turned off), during the 8 days of stay, the last 3 days there was no hot water. When we reported that the toilet flush did not work, the reception replied that they might take care of it later... It stinks of sewage. The food is the same, quite good although there is not much choice, salads and vegetables, a few desserts and fruit, ice cream. No description of what kind of dish it is! The nearest shop is quite a climb uphill, it would be best if you rent a car, it will definitely help you get to the houses located on the hills if you are accommodated there. The reception staff is not very helpful, they cannot organize a roll of toilet paper when you run out. You can rent a car on site. A very big minus is that there is no place for non-smokers, you can smoke everywhere there (except the main restaurant). No entertainment - so if you like dancing and music it will be very boring here, take bottles for water. No phone in the room, to report a fault you have to go down to the reception. The beach is unpleasant, pebbly and rocky. There is a bar there that is not affiliated with the hotel, but you can get a 15% discount. There is a stand where you can rent a boat. This is the worst place we have been, and to be honest we couldn't wait to leave.

Avoid at all costs – this is NOT a 4-star hotel This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The bathroom was filthy and the towel had huge holes in them. No proper cleaning was done during our stay, only the bed was made they did not clean the sink or the floor. Our balcony door was left wide open by the cleaners, making our room completely accessible from outside. Totally unacceptable. The staff, both at reception and in the all-inclusive restaurant, were consistently rude and unhelpful. As for the food, everything was ridiculously salty. Nothing about this place reflects the 4-star rating they claim. In reality, it’s struggling to meet even 2-star standards. I would never return here and strongly advise others to stay away. Save your money and your sanity — this hotel is a disgrace. Only positive notes, the Poseidon bar is really nice with friendly staff and the sunset cruise is a must do !

The location is stunning, absolutely stunning and we chose the hotel because of this. We read previous reviews about the hotel being slightly dodgy and I'd agree with that, not enough to put me off and with a few changes, they'd be onto a winner. 3 star hotel rather than 4 star. Rooms - ours was big, clean and comfy. Nice patio with chairs and a view of the sea which was beautiful. The water pressure in the shower was variable as was the temperature, at times, it was cold water only. Our room was located just up the hill which was steep and other rooms are a long way from the main restaurant, be warned if you don't like walking up steep hills. No wifi in any rooms at all, TV didn't work in ours. Pools - there are 3, first beside the main restaurant which is a bit rubbish. The have a swim up pool bar which is closed, no music, no wifi, bar is in the main restaurant and you have to go down some wet slippery steps, one guy fell and badly hurt his back. Block A pool, up the hill behind reception: great bar, good size pool, no toilet. The 3rd pool is in Block B, up the main road out of the bay, similar to Block A pool. Food - all served in the main restaurant, all tasted good, same food on repeat most of the time, more than a week would get boring. The signs for the food missing most of the time or just said 'cooked pork meats' which covered every pork dish they made. No allergens signage at all. Very little choice if you were a vegetarian. We didn't have kids but for parents, the kids made do with pasta and chips, no pizza or nuggets. The food at pool A and B, only fruit, cake and odd sandwiches. I've seen much better offerings. Drinks - very basic all inclusive offerings, served in very thin plastic cups. Reusable plastic cups would be much better or let folk fill up their own reusable cups (which they didn't). What could be better - tidy up more, we had a large pile of rubbish just outside our room, plates, cleaning products etc which grew bigger as the week went on. Big stack of rubbish outside the main restaurant in the mornings. The path to the main pool was down an alley filled with beer kegs and rubbish. They sorted out all the bed linens and towels on the reception roof, which most guests walked past every day. The bar at the beach is owned by the hotel but you have to pay to use (20% discount). Food, better options, food labels. Hotel guests sat in the seating area outside the main restaurant just upstairs so they could could hear the music, the hotel has no entertainment at all. The beach bar & restaurant was empty most of the time, at least let guests drink the basic drinks at the bar from their all inclusive, fine to charge for premium drinks. It would give it more life and probably encourage other folks to eat and drink at the place. Wifi - this is 2025, sort out wifi across the whole property for goodness sake! Would I go back, if they sorted out the problems, yes, otherwise, no, I'd look elsewhere next time. We did enjoy the holiday and the locations is stunning, without that view and beach, it might have been a different story.

Do I think the "All Inclusive" is brilliant - no. What about the views, are they lovely - yes. What's the entertainment like in the hotel - there isn't any, you have to go down to the Poseidon Bar, where drinks aren't free but you supposedly get a discount. All things considered would I come here again - no. Would I recommend it - no. Would I say it is 4* - no.
