My family and I visited here in July 24. It was truly lovely. The food was fantastic, with very helpful staff. The rooms were great, having everything we needed and bad beautiful views over the ocean. We went on the snorkelling trip which we really enjoyed and loved the pool. Would highly recommend!!

When we arrived at the hotel we were met by Fatima and Emmanuel smiling and welcoming us into their piece of paradise hidden behind walls. Everything here is utterly lovely, peaceful and relaxing. There is a variety of sporty or water based activities, palm weaving and Swahili classes, or you can totally relax and chill. Whatever you decide to do the surroundings are beautiful and well maintained. I would have to say that the East Coast of Africa is very rocky/corally and because there is a coral reef the water remains shallow for much of the day. But thats not a good reason not to come here. There are deep pools that form at low tide and are great for sitting in!! Don't forget reef shoes When the tide does come in it's like swimming in bathwater. The staff smile constantly and "hakuna matata, pole pole" is heard several times a day. If you don't know what this means, you'll soon find out when you visit! And visit you must. I have never, and I truly mean never, felt as good as I did there as I just let myself truly relax for the first time in decades. It's easy to do, and the staff work hard to give you time to relax. They are all so pleasant, from Fatima and Emmanuel to the reception staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, gardeners and cleaners. Too many names to mention. Any niggles do I hear you ask? Yes, there is! It's a long way to travel but there's not much that can be done about that! 😂

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Breezes again in the future. Our time there was so relaxing and exactly what we needed after a week of safaris. The property was beautiful and very clean. The staff were friendly (special shoutout to Dorah) and went above and beyond for our honeymoon. It was definitely an unforgettable experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars just wasn't enough, giving this a 6. Wonderful stay for our honeymoon, we were made to feel very welcome by all. From top to bottom we were treated with a smile, morning, noon and night. We have left now, heading home to the UK and we already miss the place. 'hakuna matata'

While the location is a bit longer than 1 hr from Stone Town and the spice farms, it is a very beautiful and perfect spot on the Indian Ocean. The service is exceptional, including Edward at the bar. Mtwana provided some of the most impressive dinner service I've had...Eva is so kind and loving. Just a wonderful experience all around. The dinners are fantastic. I'd definitely recommend Breezes for a relaxing and lovely vacation.
