The most ideal place for relaxation as you are surrounded by nature and you have awesome staff to make your stay comfortable. We were given immediate alternative room as the Ac blew up. The manager Mr. Sourav was extremely helpful and saw to all the details to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. On the flip side, windows would be helpful to keep the room cool. Chef was excellent with his culinary arts. The property is endowed with beautiful beach and also a nice clean swimming pool. An ideal place to run away from busy city life!

First of all it’s nothing like the pictures they posted, the rooms were dirty AC wasn’t even working, the bed itself are broken I just laid on it and it broke not just that as soon as we entered they wanted us to pay 4$ per person which was already paid. The toilet lights wasn’t even bright so it was basically useless. I’d rather go to a 2 star hotel to be honest than this one.

A complete tourist trap!!!! I don’t recommend to anyone to stay here. The food is terrible, the house is impossible to keep clean. There are no windows so the air conditioning and the cleaning is only for show, in 5 minutes the sea breeze will fill the place with sand, ants everywhere and spiders hanging from corners and decorative walls (they don’t even have a vacuum cleaner). If it rains all your clothes, your bed sheets, towels will be wet and it’s impossible to dry them out. The people are apparently nice but their bad English and unprofessional attitude will bother after 1-2 days. (All of them will come to you during breakfast asking if you slept well - they don’t listen or care about your answer) but when you need a drink in the middle of the day they are nowhere to be found. You also have to beg them to take away empty bottles or dirty glasses from your bungalow. If you don’t ask for sealed bottled water they will try to trick you into drinking tap water from glass bottles. The manager says come to me with any problem, I got food poisoning the last days and when I told him, he said it was impossible because we all ate the same food. No concern, no “are you feeling good? Do you need medication”. Just to be clear, I ate the whole day at the hotel, I ordered tomato sauce spaghetti (no meat) because I thought there is no way to go wrong with it. Other guests witnessed that I got sick after dinner but to the manager it was impossible. The only good thing about this place is the landscape but don’t be fooled, after 2 days you will want to leave and won’t be allowed to (no money back, doesn’t matter that the conditions don’t fit what they sold you). The beach is also dirty and smells from algae and dead fish. When I arrived the pool was dirty too, they cleaned that the next day.

The beach bungalows and restaurant offer an excellent view of the ocean, making this location a great place to stay. The property is covered in fine white sand and provides enough sunbeds and benches. Trees are also present in abundance, offering shade on hot days. However, be cautious around pine trees as they can hurt your feet when walking barefoot.
The rooms are spacious but could use a bit of modernization. Each beach bungalow has a swing on the terrace, ideal for relaxing and listening to the waves. The pool is located in the back of the property, protected from the wind, and provides a great opportunity to watch birds and baboons.
The hotel is situated in a secluded area, offering peace and quiet. There are hardly any beach boys or Masaai trying to sell things on the beach. However, if you're looking for entertainment and parties, this isn't the right place. You can walk to Paje in 10 minutes, where there are lots of stores, bars, and parties on the beach.
Paje is on the east side of the island and experiences strong tides. At low tide, swimming is not possible. However, you can enjoy long walks on the beach. Don't forget to wear bathing shoes, as there are sea urchins everywhere!

NOT GOOD! Weather was hot and very humid and a/c units did NOT work. No glass windows only screens so couldn’t keep inside cool AT ALL. Sheets were stained in bed and wet from humidity. Ants in the bathroom on walls. Showers would not drain. Bats hung at night from the top of the grass roofs that cover your room and their waste would drop on top off your rooms roof which in turn made the rooms smell like urine terribly bad. Food was so-so. Bath towels smelled terrible. Electricity went out all the time. Wi-Fi was a hit and miss. Staff were nice and friendly. Location/beach was beautiful!
