In terms of service and comfort, this hotel has been one of the highlights of our 14 month honeymoon. We had our last week booked here to relax and recover a bit from traveling the world on a budget. We chose this hotel as the price was very reasonable compared to some of the high end 5 stars on the island, however the service level maintained at this resort exceeded all expectations! Of course, when booking an all inclusive at a lower category star hotel, you can not expect food and drinks to be lobster and caviar, but the food prepared was excellent, including some stations in which there where things freshly prepared. Also alcoholic drinks in the all inclusive package are "B-brands" but offer enough variety to be inclusive for everyone. The same counts for (evening) entertainment. However, the real highlight of this property is it's staff! What an amazing job the team does every single day! Personal attention, and a smile at every corner. Despite booking an all inclusive, don't forget to tip these folks as they deserve every penny. Special thanks to Mike and Rose who made us feel special continuously, but there are many names still missing on this list, from people at breakfast to the poolboy Adam. Keep up the good work everyone, we will certainly come back one day!

I stayed at the Sultan Sands Resort and, while the staff were lovely, the overall experience left much to be desired. Special mention to Abdul, Rajab, Sulemein, Ally, Emmanuel, Hidaya, and Hassan, who all went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.
Unfortunately, the food was consistently disappointing. Each meal lacked flavor, and we often had to add hot sauce just to make it palatable. After raising concerns with the culinary manager, we tried the sister property, but it was equally underwhelming. The serving area was unhygienic, with bird droppings visible on the counters.
The all-inclusive package was also a letdown—limited hours and no access to à la carte options. It didn’t feel worth the cost at all. The location of the resort didn’t help either; the beach was not ideal, and you have to sit far above it rather than being able to enjoy it up close.
All things considered, I wouldn’t return or recommend this place to others.

We stayed at this hotel in July this year. The overall experience was wonderful. The views are breathtaking, the sand is white and the water has all the shades of blue! The garden of the resort is well taken care of. The staff was friendly and ready to take care of any requests one may have.
The rooms on the other hand, need some updating. The furniture is old, the bathrooms are outdated and the pluming has a bad smell. The shower leaked. They are not fitted for a 4 star hotel.
The restaurant needs some attention when it comes to cleaning. It is an open air restaurant so the birds have acces inside, so you could find bird droppings on the chairs. The food was good, with a lot of options. The cooking area was clean and safe.

Very friendly hotel atmosphere, attentive staff, clean rooms. The bathroom could be better ventilated. Breakfast is the same every day, lunches and dinners are themed. Everyone chooses what they like. Always plenty of fruit, ice cream, drinks.

Stayed in July and absolutely loved it, really clean and well looked after, all the staff are so friendly and helpful if needed, also had to use the nurse on sight and he was great too!
There is entertainment every night and we loved the beach clean up that the hotel organised and the games of football on the beach which the locals join in on
Special mentions to ally who served us great drinks and cocktails, Joyce who always served our food with a smile and Mohammed the groundsman who’s always on the lookout for the ravens and who also gifted me a beautiful bouquet of flowers that really made my day
Definitely recommend sultan sands 🏝️
