Just spent 10 nights at Costa, this was our 5th visit and couldn't believe it could have got any better but it did. Reception staff friendly and helpful, always a lovely fresh clean smell when you enter the hotel. We're in our 70's and enjoyed the entertainment especially around the pool area in the evening. The Animation Team were great and kept us busy throughout the day,no pressure to do anything, but a great way to meet all the different nationalities. As for the Spa, brilliant. Looking to book again next year as are most of the friends we have made there.

This adults only hotel is brilliant in every way! It has become our go-to hotel for our holidays as it ticks all the boxes for us! It has a brilliant Animation team who work extremely hard to provide full days animation activities without the pushiness one would find in some hotels. Activities include Rifle Shooting, Darts, Archery, Sjoelen, Mölkky, Bingo, Spanish Classes, Shuffleboard and Aquagym amongst others - thank you ladies xxx
The food is delicious, with show cooking stations in the evening and omelette stations in the mornings...you can even have cava in the morning with breakfast! The hotel has 2 outdoor pools 20 metres in length, one of which is heated. The hotel also has a wonderful indoor spa which has Steam room, Sauna, pool with various jacuzzis' and back massage stations etc. Also included is a dead sea room where you can float around and a salt room as well as 2 Dreamwater jet massage beds which give you 10 minutes of blissful hydromassage. All the staff are very friendly and there are lovely gardens in the grounds of the hotel with lots of parakeets and hoopoe birds amongst others.
There are singers and evening shows with variety to suit most people.
Once every couple of weeks there is a professional photographer who takes people's picture before dinner which you can then purchase if you wish - he is very good and I did purchase the photos.
We have already booked to come back again later in the year and I'm sure we will continue to return to this lovely hotel!

Absolutely quiet and pleasant. Excellent food, Entertainment isn’t aggressive at all, no kids noise, perfectly tempered pool (26 to 28 C).
Supermarket, Pharmacy, Hospital and Bus stop at the front door.
To me it ticks all the boxes I would ask for

Extremely nice and quiet hotel with a direct way to the beach. Adults only. Restaurant, pool bar and bar are great (we booked all inclusive) but the staff is a little stresses sometimes. Great looking spa and gym (haven't tried so far) and the pool area is neat and clean. You choose your sun beds for the whole stay, so no need to get up at 6am to place your towel ;-) Aqua gym was fun! There are other activities and in the evenings, there is music or shows or parties. But you are never forced to join by the animation team.

The good : Beautiful hotel and grounds , 2 big swimming pools outside (cold water) . Hotel is right on top of the beach via a gate at back of hotel . Our room was spacious and cleaned on a daily basis . Room had fridge and kettle . The spa is divine . We spent many an hour in there and you have the option of massages etc at extra cost . Staff in reception/bar/spa were courteous and helpful . The food was plentiful and there is lots of choice for most palates . The hotel is near bus stops , gift shop and a supermarket. We walked into playas des ingles a couple of times on the coastal path and it was lovely . The bus service across the road from hotel was excellent and only cost a couple of euros to get to playa des ingles .
The bad : Every morning we were woken before 8 am by the groundsmen using leafblowers on the tennis courts behind us and after they had finished it was the bat and ball sound from the players so no lie ins on this holiday .
The entertainment is dire unless you like cheesy crooners and bad pub singers . We sought entertainment in playa des ingles after 2 nights of torture so bring extra euros. The table service just does not work , rarely in the restaurant at dinner time did we get staff asking for our order ( the regulars didn't seem to have this issue lol ) so we used the soft drinks dispenser in the end nightly . Thankfully breakfast and lunch was self service. The two times we went into the 'Show room ' we waited 25 mins to get served and then another 10 mins for a drink . If you went up to the bar you was told to sit down they would come to you . Laughable. (Again the regulars , you can tell who they are didn't have this issue )
The alcohol was frankly rank , we are wine drinkers and the choices were few and awful to boot . We ended up after many tasting sessions sticking with gin and tonic and buying wine from local supermarket to drink in our room . Would I stay in this hotel again . Yes for the spa but no for the early morning wake up calls .
