This resort has a lot of steps. 136 steps from Reception to my Villa (26 up and 110 down) 57 steps from my Villa to upper pool (19 up and 38 down) 76 steps from my Villa to the Beach. It was a nightmare trying to find my way back to my room from the pool. The paths between villas and to and from reception, the pool and other facilities are convoluted with many twists and turns and many dead ends. It's like a maze. Poorly signposted. The paths are slippery.

Nice place to stay with clean rooms. The price for a night is ok but prices for services or food are expensive. Some examples: A soft drink was 90thb without 10% service fee and 7% vat Prices on menu were ex. VAT and ex 10% service fee Key deposit was 1000 thb per night, which is very weird and expensive. They offer laundry service but this is on per item basis. So you pay 50 thb for 1 shirt etc. You also need to install a seperate app to view all information of the resort, which is very annoying. This should've been a webapp.

This is such a lovely hotel to stay for a holiday in Koh Samui, the area is quite quiet however the hotel provides transport to other busier areas like Chaweng. The hotel is along a gorgeous private beach and has such a beautiful environment! (lots of greenery and lovely flowers). The staff were consistently so helpful and kind. The restaurant was occasionally quite busy in the evenings however, the attention to detail and kindness of the staff was maintained throughout! The waitress in the restaurant made our stay that much enjoyable. The only disappointing aspect of this hotel was the construction work which took place in the daytime in the restaurant. The constant drilling sound was not ideal when relaxing in the pool or on the beach. However, regardless of this we really enjoyed our stay at Centara Villas. Thank you again to all the staff for their helpfulness and kindness throughout our trip!

Service is very good here thye are lovely but when you are paying money for a holiday and all you hear is constant drilling and work going on it’s a bit annoying. I know it can’t be helped because they are improving the hotel but it frustrating me a lot. The reef cafe is really nice and the food options are wonderful. Every dish is cooked beautifully and once again service is wonderful. Now bad things are rooms are dirty and old dirty blinds are everywhere to make it covered. Rocky sand and rocky beach. There is 3 pools all are a bit old looking. Hotel is long walk to get to your room. Doesn’t look like the pictures online. Also by the pools they only leave like 8 sunbeds so there’s not really any room to sit anywhere. I also asked number of times about cooking classes and activities and was told someone will get back to me but they didn’t ever. I call the front desk and no one picks up the phone. Things are a bit dated and old but Yh if you want real luxury this isn’t the place but it was very good service really nice food location really isn’t that bad it’s like £10 to get into the main areas . Overall because of the staff I would say I had a really nice time but don’t think I would return. Thank you anyway for everything centara and I know things can’t be helped but drilling all day and old dated dirty blinds and sofas, pillows things like that is a turn of

A great place to stay. Amazing views interesting wildlife, and superb staff. Puky and the rest of the restaurant staff were so lovely and helped make our stay even more memorable.. Thank you for a magical experience
