We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in a water villa. I researched and ended up choosing this hotel. We booked for all inclusive means food and drinks are all included. All staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The island is so beautiful and private. The bar has every night theme so guests can enjoy. More power coco palm. A piece of heaven on earth. Excellent resorts, excellent service. I recommend for families, couples or who loves the nature. We stayed at the Lagoon Villa for four nights with all inclusive, service was amazing, as a complementary they gave sunset cruise tour, diving and massage. Housekeeping cleaning is fabulous, they will clean your room two time per day. They provide both European and Asian cuisine at the main dinning cowrie restaurant with many live station and food are really delicious. All the staffs are polite, friendly and very helpful, especially hostess (Nepal lady from cowrie restaurant), Abul (Bangladesh waiter from sunset bar) and also all the waiters. Our stay was pleasant, for sure in the future we will return again.

My boyfriend and I stayed only for 3 nights at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu but it was enough to be amazing. The island is beautiful and the color of the water is from another world, even in the rainy days. Staff always very kind and food delicious. We also felt totally comfortable for being a lgbt couple. We took amazing pics with our drone. If you read negative reviews from this place, for sure the problem is the person and not the resort. We loved and for sure we would go back there!

We booked an over-water villa and the accommodation didn’t disappoint: a generously sized villa, accessed via its own boardwalk, looked out over the lagoon with steps straight down into the water. The snorkelling around the villa was brilliant as there was a tiny little reef right below the villa (number 98 in case you want to try to get the same one). Around this little reef or in the nearby sea-grass we saw a wide variety of fish of all shapes and sizes plus turtles & reef sharks. The villa also had its own plunge pool on the rear deck - you could easily spend a day in the villa, really although we normally walked to the island for meals, beach walks and the like. Note that some of the villas are quite a long way from the central part of the island where the restaurants are - up to around 600m.
The bed was a comfortable four-poster with mosquito nets.
Throughout our stay we were struck by how friendly & helpful all the staff were - everyone had time to stop and chat if we asked them a question, and we found ourselves collecting recipes from one of the waiters! On one occasion, the air conditioning stopped working around 9pm - we called it in, and someone was there to fix it within minutes.
The resort offers Half Board, Full Board or All-Inclusive. We opted for Half Board, because we planned to do a lot of scuba diving so we didn’t think we’d make lunch. In the event, the manager upgraded us to Full Board which was generous. I think there’s a fairly significant price difference between Full Board & All Inclusive: because we planned to dive, we didn’t think we’d be drinking much alcohol so the tariff suited us just fine, but if you plan to sit on the beach all day with a cocktail, then All-Inclusive is a better bet as the drinks were not cheap.
The food in the main restaurant (Cowrie) was excellent. A very extensive buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner offered an array of Maldivian, Asian and Western dishes. We very much enjoyed the Maldivian options as well as various delights from India, Sri Lanka and further afield. Vegetarians were pretty well-catered for. The atmosphere in the Cowrie restaurant was pleasant - not manic like it can be in some resort buffets, but a friendly buzz. My only comment would be that it was a shame on Halloween that there were no Indian Ocean foods on offer so we kind of had to eat Western.
The resort rings the island - as well as the over-water villas there are villas on the island itself, basically on the beach. All looked comfortable and if you don’t want the long walk to the over-water villas then some of these will be a better option for you. The entrance to the house reef is near villas 64-66. The house reef runs along one side of the island and for snorkelling is pretty OK; I also did a training scuba dive further offshore here and the entrance/exit is a bit idiosyncratic as it involves towing oneself along a rope to traverse a boring, flat bit.
The island also has a little centre for turtles that have been injured and need recovery time. It’s a great way to learn a little bit about the local ecosystem (or you can even work here as a volunteer!). You can also see turtle nests at various places on the beach - and if you’re really lucky you might see the hatchlings making their way down to the sea!
