Cora Cora Maldives is a beautiful, island. The villas are amazing, and the food is top-notch with a great variety. The staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to help.
The kids club at Cora Cora Maldives is fantastic, offering a range of fun and engaging activities for children of all ages. The staff are wonderful with kids, ensuring they’re entertained and well taken care of, giving parents time to relax.

Amazing experience, celebrating an anniversary and couldn't ask for anything more, the team at Cora Cora were all so attentive and great at accommodating us during our stay, special shout out to Yan who was our freedom coach, providing one to one concierge service, more resorts should pick up on this. We have discussed with the hotel manager, but it seems that everything is in vain, as we cannot find the suitable parties to follow up. However, we still hope that there will be a way to pursue this further.
1. The manager claimed the service was free and we could not complain.
The fact that items were complimentary does not negate the need for proper service delivery. Guests have paid a high premium for accommodations and expect a commensurate level of quality and responsiveness.
2. The manager claim water leakage was common as there was a heavy rain.
The presence of water leakage problems in a 5-star hotel is highly concerning and indicative of substandard maintenance and quality control.
3. The manager's dismissive and condescending response, labeling the guests as "naive,"(refer to the Reply from Hotel by General Manager Justin) is completely unacceptable. Guests deserve to be treated with respect and have their concerns taken seriously.
4.Based on the discussion with the hotel manager, it appears the situation has become even more concerning. The manager has claimed that "since you visited during the off-season, you were provided a discounted rate, and therefore the substandard service you experienced is considered normal."
The justification that the off-season rates should result in subpar service is unacceptable. Guests are entitled to the full range of amenities and services regardless of the season.
5. We have made multiple requests to resolve the issues, and we had requested a meeting early on 25th June. We have a flight to catch at 3 PM, but the manager Justin insisted on meeting multiple times, and only showed up at 2:50 PM. It seems Cora were not genuinely interested in addressing the problem, and continuously shifted the responsibility onto the guests.
The repeated delays and reluctance to address the issues in a timely manner, mere 10 minutes before the guests' departure, demonstrate a complete disregard for the guests' time and the urgency of the situation.
6.The unannounced closure of the restaurant, in violation of the original contract, is a breach of trust and an inconvenience to the guests.
7.The lack of empathy and understanding shown by the staff, repeatedly interrupting the guests' explanations, is a fundamental failure in customer service.
8.The arbitrary cancellation of scheduled activities, with vague and unsubstantiated excuses and the lack of clear communication and guidance, have left the guests feeling frustrated and disoriented.
Each time, it would take 20 minutes back and forth, and they would only inquire about cancelling the activity at the very last minute, without ever providing prior notification.
9. The hotel claimed the phone had been fixed, but it turned out we could not listen or call for a few days because the phone was not in good condition.
The inability to use the telephone for several days is unacceptable, particularly in a 5-star establishment. Guests should have reliable access to communication services.
10.The overall experience has significantly marred what should have been a joyful and memorable honeymoon. The guests have been deprived of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity they had anticipated.
In light of these egregious failures, I demand that the hotel can provide a refund for the stay, as well as reasonable compensation for the inconvenience, emotional distress, and disruption of the guests' honeymoon experience. Failure to do so will result in further legal action.

It was a wonderful stay at cora cora .. especially the food and beverages, matched with their service, by people like, Miyaadh, Kailash, Shelton amongst others. While the days were beautiful watching the serene beauty .. the nights were made more amazing by DJ SMOOF who would understand your beat and make u dance and happy by his sense of understanding the guest .. a visit must be planned when DJ Smoof is playing.. cheers
