Its not bad but location wise its terrible! There is NOTHING around it, its directly on the motorway! There's nowhere to even walk, nothing along the front, beach isn't very nice either! The hotel is nice enough, not enough staff in the dining room at busy times, food is VERY repetitive and not all that much variety. Drinks are expensive! Pools are nice, enough beds for everyone which is a plus. Room was okay, bed was huge, bathroom was huge. We had room service plates in our room for 2 days, stuff was going mouldy on it we had to ask reception for someone to take it away! Cleaning ladies took our pool towels and the bath towels and never replaced them, the 3 of us were using dressing gowns to get dry on as we didn't notice until it was too late! Staff are very pleasant and attentive in the main lobby but you go largely ignores in the dining rooms unless you're Spanish. All in all its okay, slightly tired looking in some areas and for a '5 star' where we paid £1900 for 4 nights i expected a little more!

My wife and I had such an enjoyable time at the Elba Estepona Gran hotel/ spa. Half board, breakfast, there was so much choice, amazing. Dinner buffet, lots of choice plus a fresh meat or fish cooking station by two chefs, I just had to tell the chef what I liked and how I would like it cooked, incredible. There also was another restaurant but for a small supplement but didn't manage to go. The spa was very relaxing, and I did go to their gym once and was a good array of equipment. Outdoor very large pool and an indoor heated pool were great. And plenty of sunbeds. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

We stayed at Elba during Easter holidays and were pleasantly surprised by welcoming and supporting members of staff. Our room was lovely with an amazing sea view. The breakfast was great - lots of fruit, meats and omelette that’s made to order. I’ve managed to learn quite a few sentences in Spanish (thanks to wonderful members of staff). The hotel itself is little bit dated and probably needs a little refurb - we could hear people talking in other rooms. But it wasn’t a big issue, some people might find it annoying. Still, it’s a charming place. We are planning to come back later in a year. Also, there’s Aldi on the other side of the road for those who would like to sample local produce.

Lovely quiet family hotel. Nice pool, plenty of loungers. Service was impeccable from reception to bars and restaurants. Excellent hotel if you just want to chill as town is a bit of a hike but easy to order a taxi from reception to go into Marbella or wherever. The food from the buffet was great plenty of variety

Absolutely amazing place, the staff can’t do enough for you, the food was amazing and great variety. The spa was beautiful and massage was amazing, honestly can’t fault this place at all for the price we paid! Just under £140 for both of us for breakfast, spa & massage! 💪
