Very good hotel, adults only. We had a upgrade, on room, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast is very good, loads of variety, and hot food. Rooms serviced on daily basis, and clean towels daily . Location is good, within walking distance to old town, loads of bus stops in the area. Loads of restaurants in the area, and nice settings Nice walks to the lido and the coast road. Enjoyable stay, thank you Obrigada!!

It's the second time we had a holiday at Madeira. We chose a Jet2 Holiday package this time as they were the cheapest at the time of booking for this Hotel Magnolia. The hotel is situated at a perfect location within walking distance to the town centre and it is also closed to various good restaurants. There are number of bus stops not far from the hotel that you can catch the bus to the east (town centre), west (fishing village) as well as the north to the Nun Valley. The price we paid included the breakfast (plenty of choices) but you can choose to have the half board if desired. Unless you decide to stay in most evenings, I would suggest not to choose the half board as there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. You can always pay €30pp for the evening meal (buffet style) at the hotel on a raining night or after a long day out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a very comfortable environments with plenty of areas where you can relax. It includes a warm indoor pool and an outdoor pool. There are two sauna rooms that are free to use plus various reasonable priced spa treatments. Also, there is an hour to two hours of entertainment (singing/dancing) at the bar area every evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this hotel and I will be back here for our next visit to Madeira. I am very sure you will not be disappointed.

Central location for funchal and lido area. Beds are very comfortable, room very clean with open plan wardrobes. Slight noise from air conditioning even when not running, was told its water running through pipes, luckily it stops at mid night but starts again at 08:00. Good shower and bathroom. Good buffet breakfast and dinner, staff friendly especially bar staff. Good pool and spa facilities. Entertainment every night, some better than others, would stay here again.

Nice hotel, good location between Funchal old town and the Lido. Rooms modern and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Good selection of food at breakfast. Nice pool area. Had lunch once at the poolside bar, sandwiches and beers reasonably priced. Entertainment each evening but was out all the time so can't comment on quality.

Overall an expensive oldfolks home. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. They especially seemed to ignore younger guests and primarily served older guests. The male waiter during breakfast (26.03. - 01.04.25) was especially rude and does not have any focus on service. The breakfast Buffet food was okay, lots of choices but very boring after two days since it's the same every day. The pancakes were complete mush after laying out all morning. Coffee was terrible. The car park is no where near big enough for the amount of guests and usually ended up parking 10 mins walk from the hotel in a public car park recommended to us by the hotel reception. Overall wouldn't recommend the hotel if you're under 65.
