So often hotels dissapoint and you read reviews suggesting they should be at best 3 star not 4. But the Enotel Magnolia, if anything should be 5 star. The service and qaulity certainly equals many of the 5 star hotels we have been to. The restaurant was the jewel in the crown, with very high quality food, a great selection and very attentive and friendly staff. And unlike so many hotels who put the restaurant in the basement, this was on the first floor with panoramic views of Funchal. There was evening entertainment which was suited to adults and many of the evenings, especially the Fado was as good as you would get anywhere. The pool area was good and spacious, as was the sauna and steam room. Overall, it is very hard to fault this hotel, it was simply superb throughout.

Rooms good, bar and pool area is very good, we had Spa, definitely recommendable. The personnel is very nice. The breakfast was not to our taste, we expressed this to the staff during our checkout. The parking area is hard to access, first of all, not always parking lots available, second is the size of the lots, only small cars. Overall we can recommend the hotel!

We stayed at Enotel Magnólia for 8 days and had a wonderful experience. Our room was spacious, with plenty of storage and a small balcony offering a beautiful sea view. The towels (both for the room and the pool) were large and fresh, which was a nice touch. The staff deserve a special mention – from reception to the restaurant, bar, and housekeeping – everyone was extremely helpful, kind, and always smiling, which really made our stay feel welcoming. Food was excellent. Breakfast offered a very wide variety every day, with fresh vegetables, cheeses, breads, fruits, and more. Dinner changed daily, always fresh, with a great selection and live cooking stations that were a highlight. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and had good facilities: two saunas (though not very hot during our stay), plus indoor and outdoor pools with plenty of space to relax. A couple of small downsides: limited parking spaces (although we found parking nearby) and pillows that could be more comfortable. Overall, our stay was nearly perfect, and I would definitely recommend Enotel Magnólia to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming hotel in Madeira with great food and service.

Fantastic place. 10 of us went on holiday together and our ground floor rooms were next to each other, allowing us to have pre dinner get together on our large patio. Great fun. Thank you Enotel Magnólia for a lovely stay.

Just back from 10 days at this lovely, friendly hotel. I cannot fault this hotel,this was our 2nd stay and already looking to book for early next year. The hotel is bright and clean, lovely sitting areas spaced out around the hotel to relax. Nightly entertainment, some better than others but that is a personal choice. The staff are 5*, welcoming and friendly especially the reception, bar and breakfast staff, they seem to be happy in their work which reflects on the hotel giving it a family atmosphere. It's a pleasure to stay here, highly recommended.
