I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in November. I had a room facing the city and I stayed there alone. I'm not that "relaxing at the pool"- kind of person, so I cannot say anything about that.
Overall experience: I enjoyed my stay a lot!
Located near to the city center and near to the harbor (quite convenient if you want to go on a day trip to Porto Santo (highly recommended btw)).
A small supermarket is nearby and some souvenir shops are just three doors to the left.
The staff at the reception and at the restaurant is very friendly and helpful.
On my first morning the housekeeping lady asked me, if I would need service during my stay. I said no, because for me this is absolutely unnecessary. She marked it on the list and kept her word...nobody came to make my room... and I appreciated this a lot ;).
The breakfast was really good: They have fruits, greens, cheese, cold cuts, cereals, jam and other sweet spreads, scrambled eggs, beans, other warm dishes, different kind of juices and teas, a variety of coffee...etc.
You can also order freshly made fried eggs from the kitchen AND very important for me: They have gluten free options (bread, muffins, etc.) upon request. Thank you for that :-)
My room was clean and big enough.
At home I have a hard mattress to sleep on, but the mattress at this hotel was really, really hard.
But you get used to it, tho.... better than sinking in completely, right?! ;)
There is a bar on the other side of the street.
So there was loud music in the evening on a regular basis until like 11 pm.
But on Friday night the music was playing until after 1 am... and you still kind of hear it, even if the window is closed.
For me it was okay, since I was still up anyways.
This bar also has a huge LED advertising display with changing pictures installed. So if you're sensitive to light while trying to sleep, get a sleeping mask ;) because the curtains are failing to do their job.
But this is the only negative thing I can say... and it's not even the hotels fault... it's the environment.
Long story short: I would definitely book with them again :-)

4 star hotel which only reached 3 star expectations during November-2024 stay.
Room
All on the first and only floor.
Odd numbered rooms give you sea view
Even numbered give to the road and facing hotel.
The rooms are worn out and need a major refresh. Beds are very firm and linens of low quality. I had to switch rooms as the first one had way too issues. To try and avoid the noise from the restaurants and bars below, go for a low numbered room. It was very very loud until 1-2am.
Bring earplugs.
Pool area
Under renovation, pool open but limited seating and rooftop bar area closed. This was a major draw for my booking but fell flat.
Parking
in the garage below the hotel. Go to the far end to be closest to the elevator which takes you straight into the hotel.
It costs 10€ per day payable at the front desk at check in. Just take a ticket on your entrance and exchange for a resident card for use during your stay.

Breakfast
Alright selection tho quite low quality. You can get some English style breakfast made up for you if you ask.
I skipped most days.
They will also do you a takeaway with a ham sandwich and fruit if you’re leaving before 8am when it starts.
Nespresso coffee machine is alright.
Cost
I would not give this hotel a recommendation to a friend, too expensive for a rundown space
Service
Nice and accommodating given the product they are representing.
Location
12-15 minute walk to Old Town
Bars and restaurants within 3 minutes.
Small supermarket nearly across the street but I would skip as selection is bad. Go further into town.

The location of the hotel is great, it is a walking distance from many restaurants and shops. The staff were nice and helpful they even gave us tickets to Ronaldo museum ☺️, the room itself was average but the view from the balcony was amazing. There was a drainage problem in the shower which was not good😑 and the walls were thin we could hear the guests next door talking 😑 overall it is good for short periods stays 😊

Rooms were great, very clean. Good breakfast. Staff was amazing, always willing to help. Easy to get to city center (10-15 minutes walk). View from the swimming pool was breath taking.

If you're coming with your family, stay away! We didn’t get a minute of sleep with two nightclubs right across the street blasting music all night long, plus loud motorcycles revving constantly. Such a shame because the bedding seemed perfect, but we couldn’t even enjoy it. The next morning, we found out they actually have earplugs at the front desk—they know about the noise but don’t warn guests in advance! I wrote to the management group afterward, and they clearly don’t care either. No apology, poor service !
