The beach at this property is undeniably beautiful, with the promise of great snorkeling and refreshing water. However, my experience with the hotel left much to be desired, as it highlighted a sense of exclusivity that detracts from the welcoming spirit one might expect. On my birthday, I drove an hour to watch the sunset at the beach, only to be turned away at the gate. While Seychelles law designates all beaches as public access, I was denied entry, forcing me to drive an hour back to my hotel. I returned two days later and finally enjoyed the beach, but accessing it proved unnecessarily difficult. The hotel does not allow staff to offer rides to or from the public beach, even when empty golf carts are headed in that direction. Thankfully, some kind-hearted staff members made exceptions, but the policy feels unnecessarily restrictive. As someone with a severe injury, the steep hike down to the beach and back up was challenging and would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. This lack of accommodation for guests with physical difficulties was disappointing, especially given the property’s reputation. Additionally, despite attempting to book spa and dining reservations four months in advance, I was told these amenities were fully reserved for hotel guests. While I understand prioritizing guests staying on-site, the exclusivity creates a sense of inaccessibility that may not align with the inclusive hospitality many travelers seek. While the Four Seasons is known for luxury, the policies and atmosphere at this property come across as elitist rather than accommodating. If you’re a guest aligned with this ethos, you may enjoy the experience, but for others, it may fall short of the warmth and accessibility expected from such a prestigious brand.

I’m so happy my husband and I ended up choosing this Four Seasons for our honeymoon. It was beyond what we dreamed of. Service is impeccable, everyone is so attentive and kind. The resort itself has the best beach I’ve ever been. The rooms are stunning and super clean. The restaurants are the best in the island. I can’t wait to go back.

As a visitor to this beautiful public beach, it was disappointing to not be allowed access to pay in the bars to access food or water. Additionally we were denied shuttle access up there steep hills. This hotel is preventing locals benefitting from setting up facilities for visitors to access. After staying at the Constance Ephelia and Savoy, they contrast this level of care, and were incredibly kind and forthcoming even to visitors. Beautiful beach though and worth a visit.

Great spot for a beach holiday, in one of the best places in the world! The Rooms need a refresh, but nothing major. The local stuff is mostly "not guest oriented", lacking connection with the guests even for simple questions like: would you like something. One of the female beach waitresses even asked us to rate her on tripadvisor. We love the Creole night, and Valentina is very sweet and attentive, always genuinely smiling. Great is Mohammed S. He is a connection superstar, has the natural ability to connect and understand the guests needs. He is simply amazing!

**Disappointing Experience at the Four Seasons Seychelles** I recently visited the beach at the Four Seasons Seychelles and, although I was considering staying here in the future, my experience left me deeply disappointed. On our visit, we decided to stop by the bar to buy fresh coconuts, as we had done the day before. However, this time, we were told they don’t sell to non-residents. The inconsistency was frustrating, especially since the waitress who informed us was rude about it. It’s worth mentioning that both the bartender and the gentleman who cut the coconuts were kind, which made the experience even more baffling. Next, we attempted to book a table for lunch, only to be told reservations needed to be made 24 hours in advance. When we tried to book for the following day, we were suddenly informed the restaurant was fully booked. Strangely enough, the space was completely empty. It felt like there was either a policy problem or, worse, discrimination at play. It's a shame, as I genuinely liked the beach and was planning to return as a resident on a future trip. However, this experience left a sour taste and raised serious concerns about how guests are treated here. Four Seasons should look into their customer service and policies to ensure consistency and fairness. ---
